Caltech Advantage did it all for our office!
Our server fried right before a big deadline! However Steve was the reason why the office went from a sunken ship to smooth sailing. He salvaged all the needed data, set up a new system and integrated the data with the new system. We were not only back up and running but more efficient than ever.

I found Caltech Advantage by researching Unilocal reviews for an at home computer service, and am so glad I found Steve! I first thought I needed help getting my new printer to work a few months ago, but turns out my ancient computer was the problem, so Steve sold a refurbished computer to me at a great price to get me out of the dark ages. I needed help again a few weeks ago after moving, since I was having trouble getting it all set up, and he made another house call to get the computer up and running very quickly. I highly recommend Steve!

My laptop died and it ended up being cheaper to get a new one than repair it. Steve was friendly and wonderful to work with. He found me another laptop and transferred my data, working with my time constraints without issue.

VERY HAPPY with the service I received. I had already diagnosed what I thought the problem was with my HP printer and mentioned this when I called. While he couldn’t see it himself he quoted me a price that I thought was reasonable for fixing it. He came out to my business right away to pick it up (!!!) and brought it back fixed in 2 days! Later on, the same day of the return, my office suite neighbor asked me if I knew anyone who could help him fix a laptop problem. I recommended Caltech Advantage and he was out the next day to pick up the laptop; waving hi to me as he passed. My office neighbor was also very happy with the price and the results. Wow! Steve did an amazing job of saving my lap top from an evil virus and in record time. I dropped my computer off to him in La Mesa. Within a few hours he called to say it was ready. He even delivered it to my house! His rates are incredibly reasonable. He is reliable, efficient, knowledgeable, and a really nice guy! I highly recommend him for your computer needs!

Relied on the star rating for Unilocal when I called CalTech this morning just before 8 am. Within 5 minutes Steve called back, assessed the situation with my home business computers and offered several time frames to fix. Seriously. He was here, fixed 2 machines, and out less than 100 minutes from my initial call. And. He has a great source for replacement desktop computer which I had already priced out and he is saving me about 20%. So. Problem solver. Johnny On The Spot. Reasonable rates. Highly recommend!

I asked Steve to please fix my laptop screen as one of my kids either stepped on it or something and with fast affordable service my laptop was ready within a couple days and I was extremely satisfied with the service I received! I will definitely use them for every electronic repair I need!!!

I have a Dell Studio XPS, which is a bit old but I love it (but it’s a piece of art and back in the day I spent quite a bit of money for it), so recently when the screen broke I had a bit of a dilemma. It’s out of warranty and i know Dell is outrageously expensive so had to find something local. Caltech advantage had some good reviews so i called and scheduled a drop off. Steve told me that as soon as the part arrives it will be a same day fix. Two days later I got it back for a reasonable price. Good people to work with if you want your machine back in one piece quickly. They definitely know what they are doing and I highly recommend them.

I live in LA, and my elderly father lives in San Diego, imagine the dilemma I was in when my father’s hard drive crashed and the data needed to be retrieved and moved to the new hard drive. My father has basic computer skills, but this was not something he could do on his own. I saw Caltech Advantage on Unilocal and since they were located close by, I gave them a call to see if they could help my father move the data. Steve called me back immediately and in a couple of hours of our conversation, my father’s new hard drive had all of his precious pictures and documents that he thought were gone forever.
