The staff is amazing. The selection of classes that are available are awesome. They even have classes for couples, kids and teens. Love this place.

I went to Cooking with Class last night with a group of 14 girls for a bachelorette party/cooking class. We paid $ 85 each to learn to cook pizza. The owner was nice enough but not super friendly or social. The chef was also upbeat but not very impressive by any means. I have been to several cooking classes before at other establishments, such as Kitchen Kitchen as well as one aboard a sailboat in San Diego. I have NEVER paid close to what I paid last night, the most I’ve paid in the past is $ 65, which I find very reasonable. I was very underwhelmed with the chefs knowledge and information. I felt I could’ve learned just as much by Googling«how to make pizza». The biggest disappointment however was that every one of us left hungry. We were served 2 stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, 3 small slices of each pizza and a slice of a fruit tart/pizza for dessert. I’ve always left so stuffed after a cooking class, but not last night. I think the price was far higher than what was delivered, and I was definitely disappointed.

We recently took the«Couples in the Kitchen» class and I can’t say enough about it. We happened to have a great group of couples that have now become our friends. Mostly due to the fun & fantastic Chef Billie. Not only did she give us great recipes and food to eat but made the entire evening a blast. Everyone was given the chance to participate in the making of the meal, then Chef Billie and the kitchen assistants served us the beautiful meal we had prepared. We were given the option of purchasing additional wine, which of course we did. We can’t wait to do this again. Jane(the owner) keep up the good work. We appreciated your hard work in getting great teaching chefs. Not always an easy task.

I have taken the 26-wk culinary program and 12-wk baking programs and gained a lot of knowledge and confidence in my cooking. I have taken many other classes and always learn from the knowledgeable instructors as well as building my recipe repertoire. The variety of classes offered from Trader Joe’s, Healthy Eating, couples in the kitchen, wine pairings, pasta making, kids camps, and even sipping and painting offers something for everyone. The staff is very friendly and the kitchen is well laid out and offers easy viewing from any seat.

I took the Trader Joe’s cooking class with a group of ladies and we were all underwhelmed to say the least. $ 75 per person got us each one glass of wine, a carrot dipped in kale pesto, and a main course that consisted of spinach tossed with a few shrimp. The flavors and dessert were great, but my husband would have eaten his arm off if he had come. My friend that booked the class said she was told there would be wine and appetizers for coming early — not. We would have been able to look past the small and SIMPLE bites if we had filled up on invaluable tips on Trader Joe’s products or were introduced to some chef-secrets, but that wasn’t the case. Instead the owner spent the time that could have been used by the chef telling us about corporate history and philosophy that anyone could(and she did) pull off Google. The counter stools were painful to sit in, and the clanking of the dishes from their restaurant kitchen next door was distracting. We had been wanting to do this for years so it was a big disappointment — we regretted not saving the $$ and buying one the many Trader Joe’s cookbooks that are out and experimenting ourselves.

A great experience every time! I’ve been to Cooking with Class three times now and have been equally impressed every time. The food has been consistently exceptional, and the staff is so friendly & helpful, with many generous cooking & product tips. I also really like the space and being able to see well from any seat. I’ve taken many guests, and even the non-cooks have loved it.

Had a great experience at the food & wine pairing class! We sampled 4 different wines with 4 amazing dishes prepared by Executive Chef Andie. This was an amazing and original experience. I hope to try one of their other classes(cooking, wine pairing) in the near future!

Want to learn to cook? Cooking With Class can help! This is a beautiful teaching kitchen that would make Food TV proud. We have enrolled our daughter in cooking camps twice now and have been thrilled with the experience. Not only did she learn to make some great recipes, she also learned about kitchen safety, nutrition and staying organized. Aside from the camps, Cooking with Class offers adult classes, wine tasting dinners, and party options. Check out their cookbook too. The only downside to Cooking With Class is that their kid’s camps are expensive compared to other camps in the area. You do get quality for the money though.
