Dinner was fantastic. Truffle Mac cheese as a side pairs well with any main dish. The grouper was fresh and presented well. Save room for desert. The table side served fresh pressed coffee was delicious. Enjoy.

Great escape from the casino. I am thinking I am better off spending money on meals vs. Slot machines. The scallops are to d.i.e. for. Now offering a social hour, great prices on select appetizers and wine. Live music as well.

This is the best food in the whole casino. That gets 4 stars… Now the customer service is garbage. The servers treated us like we were about to pay them with a lonestar card. LOL!!! Sad but true. Me and my husband went 3 nights in a row. THe first night, a man named Eric was our server. He was so non-chalant and uncaring. I asked about a dish specifically, and his response was«Everything is good here» Ummmm. Give me some more detail genius… But we still gave 15% tip because that’s just what we do. Sometimes more if you’ re outstanding. But let’s get to the 2nd night. We have some server named John I believe(the heavier set half bald short white guy with the beard). He didn’t introduce himself. That wasn’t good. But we let that pass(only because the food is great). We tipped him 15% as well. Now let’s get to the 3rd night. We have the same server«John» again. He even remembers what we got the night before. And knew he remembered the tip. So we thought we were going to be treated wonderfully. Boy were we wrong. Now I’ve been a server before, and I know to ask the customer how their food is. He didn’t do that, but ask the other white people next to us about their food. We had had enough at that point. I hate bringing race in this, but we were literally the only African-Americans in there. And we were not treated right at all. Our bill was $ 97, and his tip this time was to treat all patrons the same. We should have to tip you if you don’t offer us quality service like we deserve. And it wasn’t worth telling management about. Seems they were just walking by us as well instead of checking on us. On a good note though, the hostesses were phenomenal. They were very welcoming until we had to deal with the mayheim inside the restaurant. And we also appreciated the Hispanic guy with the beard. We saw more of him than our server. So sad!!!

Writing this review reminds me of how much I loved Snake river Grille. I was hoping that Ember would be as good or better and it just wasn’t. The prices were high like SRG but the food just didn’t justify it like SRG dis. I hate writing bad reviews but this is probably the one and only place in town i would never eat again. I always give restaurants a fair chance but I don’t even want to go on there again.

We love everything about this place(and prefer it over Vic and Anthony’s next door). We’ve been here numerous times and it’s always delicious. The ambiance is great, the wine is fine and the food is delicious! I’m a fan of the bar-B-Q shrimp, American Kobe fillet with a side of crawfish Mac-n-cheese, Duckhorn wine and crème brûlée. Superb!!! My only complaint is that they rarely have Cakebread(Merlot) on hand. Don’t miss this great steakhouse!

For those discriminating individuals that travel the world, coming to Embers you’re drifting back in time with all that surrounds you. Their collection of wine fits just right and leaves the pallet wanting for more. The steaks that I have had are tender and juicy it’s prepared with delicate fingers, the results are because orgasmic, I’m having a party on my tongue, I am sitting Next to the fireplace, listening to world famous tunes and there are actually people talking to each other and not staring into the cell phones, The ambience is memorable as is the food and the service here is much better than other places. I will come back and stop in Lake Charles to eat here

Very bad experience! I had fish. Very good. Wife had filet. Cooked too raw. She sent it back. Waiter brought it to her charcoal black! You’re very funny Ember. $ 36 wasted. I was done with my meal before her steak came back. She found a couple of bites to eat and gave up. Manager never came. Waiter didn’t care. He only brought the bill later on. We paid and left. We waited two hours for a table. Place was half empty during that time. Why did you make us wait? I sat in lounge for an hour with lots of tables open. Why? What is wrong with this restaurant?

The service was great as was the atmosphere. Both the bar and dining area where warm, cozy and inviting. While my bison ribeye steak was excellent, the wife commented that her American Kobe fillet seemed a little dry. The crispy pork belly appetizer was fantastic as was the wedge salad. The food was very good but seem to be a bit overpriced, but what do you expect at a casino restaurant.

Very good food and service, The ambiance was lovely. They had a fire going and the mood was very romantic. The furniture is very comfortable and it is elegant without being too dark. I had the Osso Bucco Raviloi appetizer for my meal and it was delish, it was soft and melt in your mouth good. My companion had the girlled scallops and said she loved them. Also she ordered a side of the garlic mashed potatoes which were very very good. This is a pricier steakhouse so be prepared to spead at least 150.00 a couple.

We were seated right away. The restaurant is very well designed. Wait staff was friendly. Tried some of the appetizers, Ahi tuna, New York strip, pancake fritters.

Perfect atmosphere for an evening with someone special with a pianist for ambiance. Amazing food and service. Loved that we were served pallet cleansers in between each course. Love this place. My favorite hands down. Be sure to try the truffle Mac and cheese. I don’t even like cheese or macaroni but it’s heaven in your mouth.

First night at L’auberge, we had dinner here with a few people tab came out to be a couple of grand how is that possible! Ordered filet mignon, sides, and first time trying some bunny dish– amazing! The salad was good but didn’t like anchovies on top. Dessert was delicious! So I’m drunk from all the liters of wine… thought we were going leave and then we went to another bigger table they had mutual friends with. Ate more and more seafood and other stuff and of course more wine. I am full, happy, drunk, and fat. One time experience because I will never hang with anyone or any ballers that will pay for thousands for a tab ever again. Server was very nice and professional. This place felt like home and very warm, great vibe.

I sat at the bar, where you can order from the bar or full menu. The décor was pretty standard steakhouse fare. Very nice, elegant and mellow. I enjoyed the mounted head over the entrance to the dining room. Barbara, the bartender was friendly and attentive. I ordered a Negroni which she made perfectly and without having to ask me what’s in it, which happens quite frequently(it’s not the most commonly ordered cocktail). I had one of, if not the best carpaccios I’ve ever had the pleasure to enjoy. American«Kobe», mustard aoli, fried capers, scallions, and reggiano cheese served with crispy brioche. The wedge salad was fresh, crisp and delicious. I like mine with ranch dressing,(because I’m a bit of a heathen) and bleu cheese crumbles, and they happily accommodated my request. The 20 oz bone-in ribeye came out a perfect medium rare. I liked the fact that it was served with a red wine reduction and a whole roasted garlic clove. The steak was seasoned perfectly and didn’t need any help, but I was happy to eat bits of garlic clove with the house bread. Speaking of the bread, there were three assorted pieces. I enjoyed all but the focaccia-like piece. Wasn’t bad just not as good as the other two in my opinion. I enjoyed the selection though, and far be it from me to be that guy who complains about the complimentary bread(although I just kinda did I suppose). I ordered a glass of Faust Napa Valley Cab which was priced accordingly at $ 20, it paired wonderfully with my Ribeye. Dessert was baked Alaska made with house made butter pecan ice cream, garnished with chocolate shavings, and salted caramel. I ordered a Ramos Pinto tawny port to go with, which is one I’d never tried before. I should’ve asked how old it was, because it was the sweetest, ruby-est tawny port I’ve ever had. It was the only let down of the evening. If I had to do it over again I would spend the extra $ 6 for the late bottled vintage port instead. They serve French press coffee, which didn’t do much for me. Not a reflection on them, I just prefer it stronger. All in all, I was very impressed. As good as any steakhouse I’ve ever been to in Vegas, and after living there for the last 11 years I’ve been to a few.

When the clinking of the slot machines or sleaziness of Jack Daniel’s bar get to you, Ember Grille & Wine Bar is a nice escape inside L’Auberge. I’ve dined there three times and enjoyed my experiences. A dirty martini in the piano lounge to start your night is a must, followed by a few photo opps by the fire as you await your table. For dinner, I’ve had a few things on the menu, but most enjoyed the Lamb Lollichops $ 25) on the apps menu, Ahi Tuna Tartare($ 16), Wedge Salad($ 12) and Truffled Mac n’ Cheese($ 10). They have great cocktails, wines by the glass and whiskeys. Service has always been great, whether it’s been dinner for two or a group of 10. The only thing I didn’t like about my last visit was when our server laughed at me for requesting to taste a whiskey before I committed to a selection. «You mean you want a taste of a 2oz pour?» he sarcastically asked. «Uh, yeah. It’s never been a problem anywhere else.» An awkward and rude moment, but forgivable since it’s the only nice restaurant on the property and I’m certain I’ll be back one day. Attire: I’d dress up, but I’ve seen men in shorts and a baseball cap.

Our first experience was a big quality disappointment and only reason for 4 instead of 5. Tonight, Ryan and Ricky served up a flawless birthday dinner. The Lobster, baked scallops, asparagus and potato were flawless. Their ice cream puts shame to blue bell. Were very kind to allow me to sample multiple wines to decide what id like. Even the rolls were baked perfect. The atmosphere is great and the staff is very nice. Great spot for a romantic dinner. I do recommend having a reservation. Its been freezing inside both times, come with a wrap ladies.

Beautiful restaurant and wonderful atmosphere! I was in town to visit my Bf and he brought me here for dinner. They have a great wine selection and I also noticed that they have a very nice selection of bourbons and single malts. We dined on Bbq pecan bacon wrapped shrimp over aged smoked cheddar grits which were succulent and tender. The grits were amazing, I could have had more of them. My BF chose the stuffed rabbit loin for dinner, it was delicious, he cleaned his plate. I decided to go with the New York steak and it was well seasoned and the medium temperature was executed perfectly, I paired that with a loaded baked potato and a creamy horseradish sauce. divine! The experience was wonderful and our server Mike was fantastic! He was attentive without pestering and he always allowed«The Lady» as he called me to order first and be served first. It was a great experience coupled with wonderful wine and food, so I will definitely return!
