Visiting Lake Charles for a weekend, the Unilocal pics of this place caught my eye. As u come in, there’s a downstairs area for dining primarily. Take the stairs upstairs to a gorgeous bar and comfortable seating. Nice cocktail list and the wine list not bad either. Cocktails n wine about $ 10 – 12. They have some light bites but I was too late to view that menu.
Friendly n damn good bartenders. Very relaxed cool atmosphere. It never really got packed on a Friday night but there was a steady stream of folks stopping for a drink then on to the next spot. I did that myself but ended up coming back. Of the nighlife places I checked out in lake Charles this was the only one I would return to or bring a date to.

Beautiful calm setting. Just to relax and have a few drinks. The staff is very nice. And the blue bandit martini was my favorite so far.

Was visiting family in Lake Charles and they told us a new «hip» bar had opened up downtown. We decided to check it out.. . I was pleasantly surprised. It is a two story space but still fairly small to keep things intimate. Downstairs seemed more sit down (I believe they have light bites to eat but we didn’t see that menu). Upstairs they have a main room with a couple couches, a few tables, the main bar and then there is a backroom which I believe they refer to as the lounge (the music didn’t run back there so felt a bit awkward for us).
We checked out the cocktail menu and again were impressed with the options. They had quality liquors and interesting concoctions, I don’t remember everything they had but definitely some whiskey cocktails and martinis. Our drinks were made fairly quickly considering the work that goes into them.
Prices were cheap and flavors were on point in the drink.

Great atmosphere, unique food and drink selection, nice music and classy folk. Lake Charles has needed a place like this for a while. Definitely a wonderful spot to begin your evening, complete your evening or just let it be your entire evening. Intimate setting with plenty of different furniture arrangements.
