In town on business and checked Unilocal.neat little place downtown. Busy when I stopped in for a late lunch — Beaux was my waiter and he was pretty busy but he took care to make me know he appreciated my patience. I asked if they had fried shrimp — I was craving it — he recommended the kids meal and he felt sure it would fill me. It was perfect!!! Exactly what I wanted. The menu was full of delicious choices — go try it.

Checked out the Sunday brunch for a birthday celebration with friends. Had the crepes with a soft shell crab… lets just say«fabulous». Great food and prices are reasonable. The food is always excellent!

Had lunch here today. Same as last week– food was good and presented nicely on the plates. Brooke was our server today and she was very good– extra plates that she brought –along with the extra napkins –without having to ask for them! I ran out of my beverage… again– and the glass stayed empty for quite awhile… again. But I had my water as a back-up! One thing I noticed this time as well as last visit is the strong smell of grease the closer to the kitchen you sit, this is especially so if you have to visit the restrooms as they are located across from the kitchen area, down a walkway from the main seating area. This isn’t a large cavernous building– so the smell tends to linger at the back. Also –even though they have outdoor seating –smoking is allowed so there goes that. I wonder how smoking is allowed on this patio when you have to be 60 feet from any doorway to smoke, and that certainly isn’t the case here.

We heard about this place through a friend who recommended to get the Chicken Ella which was great. The photo is of the delectable Crawfish Stuffed Avacado on chips we got on the side. Luna has tremendous food that created a once in a lifetime experience! Service was great as well, the servers here were wonderful!

Boyfriend and I stopped here on the way back to Texas along I-10 and we were so glad we did. I got the Neptune Melt(most popular sandwich) with fried green beans as my side(get these, I could seriously eat a whole plate they’re so good). He got the chicken pacetti which was topped with crawfish among other things with side of creamed spinach. Everything was so good that we both cleaned our plates! Highly recommend this place, looks like everything is good and the atmosphere is super chill with cool décor which is a plus

After hearing rave reviews I decided to order delivery thru Waitr app. I am from out of town at a hospital with my dad in ICU. The food arrived in a plastic bag. My soup was not in an insulated container and it was cold. The crab cake was cold. The bigger issue was no silverware to eat the food with, no condiments(salt pepper etc) and no napkins. This is unprofessional. No thought went into the care of the customer who just paid a delivery fee and generous tip sight unseen. This was my first experience with this restaurant and the Waitr app. Trust me… I have no desire to visit the restaurant.

Great service and atmosphere! Parking isn’t the best due to the location being downtown. There were a few flies that wouldn’t leave us alone! There is a patio area that looked awesome. I got a burger and it was good! On jalapeño cheese sour dough(wasn’t spicy)! You have to try the crawfish bread!!!

My favorite place in LC. Have brought many colleagues here and everyone has loved it so far. All the sea food options are amazing; and the spinach artichoke dip.

Nom! Nom! Great food! I’ve been there twice. I had the Jupiter the first time(roast beef sandwich). Freakin’ good! Second time, had bisque and a ceasar salad. Bisque was amazing! Salad — — not so much. It’s not what I’d call a ceasar salad. They used a spring salad mix(not romaine), and it came with veggies like you’d find on a regular salad. It was basically a salad with ceasar dressing, but it was still good; it just wasn’t what I wanted. Plan to wait a few minutes to be seated. Service and food are worth that wait, though.

The Luna Tuna and avocado stuffed with crawfish are yummy — very well seasoned. Service is good. The restaurant deco is artistic. Parking is convenient. Food has lots of cheese tho. A bit too heavy imo.

Amazing! Wait was a little long but so worth it! The food was really presented well and hot. Would come back here. And it is in a cute area of downtown.

Been here many times and never disappointed! For appetizer they serve the very best spinach & artichoke dip I’ve ever had. Never had a bad entrée here. Their sandwiches are great. Most of them have a spicy kick. Try the«Uranus» it’s a pork chop sandwich with a fried egg. Very good but messy!

Luna’s is probably my favorite place to eat in the city. I’ve never had a bad meal or bad experience here. It definitely rectified our misadventure at a different restaurant we went to for our anniversary dinner. The food is always fresh, simple seasonings that let the flavor of the food speak for itself. Our favorite to get is either of the tuna dishes. If you’re in the mood for steak, you can’t go wrong with the ribeye! The spinach dip is creamy and a great way to start your meal. I would recommend the fried green beans as a side. If you are looking for a filling salad, you will get a large portion here with some great local seafood options as well. I’ve yet to try the burgers or sandwiches, but I’ve heard they are«out of this world». ;) They have a variety of beers(including Louisiana’s own Abita), wines(their moscato is super sweet and my favorite) and mixed drinks to go with your meal or just your company if you rather.

Cool bar & grill in DT Lake Charles. And 1st spot I visited during my biz trip @ LCH. I ordered the crab/corn bisque cup– delish! Filet topped crab was ok. Would try another fish/seafood entrée if i go back. Had one of their seasonal fall desserts and it was AMAZING.(Pumpkin cheesecake w/pecan cake)

The number one place to eat in Lake Charles, hands down. It’s worth stopping off the interstate on your way through for no reason other than to eat a good meal. Everything I have ever had here from appetizers, sides, entrees and desserts has been excellent. The Luna Tuna cooked rare is the best tuna steak I have ever had. The rich butter sauce mixed with just the right amount of spicy heat makes for a killer dish. The dragon tuna is another favorite with its spicy bbq sauce. My favorite side is the creamed spinach. Most places either over salt this dish or cover it in cheese to cover any blandness. Luna does neither real cream and the spinach is über tender.

I ate here last night around 5:30PM. I was greeted appropriately and decided to sit at the bar since you tend to get faster service. I was the only person besides another man at the end of the bar, so the food came out pretty quickly(10 – 15 minutes after ordering). I looked at the menu and decided on the following: Crawfish, corn, and pepper bisque, cup($ 4): I thought this was scrumptious. You have to take into account that I am no native of Louisiana, so perhaps there is better soup out there, but I thought the amount of ingredients was plentiful and balanced. You are not skimped on the amount of crawfish, even though this is no longer in season. Remoulade($ 14): You may balk at the price, but it is worth EVERY penny because there’s so much shrimp, lump crab, and crawfish. The house made remoulade is delicious. In true Louisiana fashion, there’s a slight kick to it, which makes it all the better. Fresh romaine lettuce is definitely used based on the dark green color and is needed to balance out the spice. My only complaint is that I think to balance out even more of the spice, you really need a carb, like bread(like a poboy — this would be great as a poboy). Thus, I ordered a side of garlic mashed potatoes($ 3) as well, which were also delicious. Crawfish stuffed avocado($ 6 for one): This has a kick like the remoulade. The orange sauce reminds me of something one would place over spicy sushi. Again, there was plenty of crawfish. I just wish the avocado had been a bit softer. It was quite hard, perhaps not ripe enough, and therefore, the avocado taste was a bit lost. Nevertheless, it’s something interesting to try. The bill’s subtotal was $ 27 and add $ 2.43 for tax. If you’re short on money or perhaps you don’t have a big appetite, the remoulade is what I recommend the most. puts this place as the #2 spot in the city, and I can see why! I will definitely be back!

Kinda pricey, but the service was great and my salmon was really good. I had the pecan glazed salmon which was fantastic! I attached a picture! But I ordered grilled veggies as my side and that was a big mistake, they were terrible! Soggy, mushy and overall bad bad bad. So I do not recommend the grilled veggies My husband had the fried green beans and those were good I have to say. The name of the salmon I got, I believe was the Orion salmon
