The food here is excellent and the staff is friendly. I often order online, but if you do so, I would suggest giving it at least 30 – 35 minutes before showing up to pick it up, even if you order only 1 – 2 dishes — They make everything fresh, which is a good thing, but it takes some time.

I love a good curry and Diho Siam is the best! Yellow, red, jungle, pineapple; the curries are all great. The food is fresh and delicious; the vegetable soup in particular is simple and always a treat. The service has always been outstanding.

Disappointing experience today. Ordered take out and by the time I got home the food was not hot. I’m about 7 – 8 minutes from the restaurant. The crispy potstickers were lukewarm and not very crispy. Flavor was just ok, nothing to really rave about. I was craving chow mein which led me to this place. I’ve had the Thai food before and was pretty satisfied so I figured the Chinese food would be equally as tasty. Again, I was dissatisfied, and again it was lukewarm almost cold. It was watery and lacked any taste. Not the thick flavorful sauce I grew up eating. The noodles were also soggy. Didn’t look as though they were pan fried at all. The mushrooms looked like they came from a can and they too tasted bland. Panda Express makes a better dish and that’s not saying much. My son had the crispy orange chicken. He was not too flipped over the water chestnuts. This is the first time I’ve had the water chestnuts battered and fried. Usually they are added after the chicken is crisped and tossed with the sauce. Definitely different. This sauce had decent flavor but was on the salty side. Maybe everything would taste better if we just ate there.

Lately, my coworker and I have been on the search for a good Thai place near San Juan Capistrano. Unfortunately, we still haven’t had any luck. Ordered takeout for lunch with my coworker today. He ordered the papaya salad extra spicy while I ordered the pad kee mao noodles medium spicy. Sadly, both were a huge disappointment. Both of our dishes were not very spicy and the portions were quite small. The papaya salad should’ve been extra spicy, but it was really more mild. Also my coworker didn’t like that they put uncooked green beans in. My pad kee mao was just ok. It was also mild, but it seemed like the noodles had been sitting around for a while. It stuck together and was really soft. Huge disappointment, and we can definitely say we won’t be going back.

Loved this place! First time last night and was totally impressed. It’s great you can get great tasting Thai or Chines food under one roof. Excellent service and good prices. We will be back for sure!

We love this place! Food is amazing and the service is even better. Having lived near Thai Town in LA I can honestly say this is as good if not better than any of the places there. Highly recommend eating here if you haven’t.

Being half Thai and from San Diego I am picky on Asian/Thai food. Have to say this is on par with some of the best I have had. Fresh and clean tasting, not all salty and they have Thai beef noodle soup which is hard to find nowadays!

Been twice and never had a bad experience. Best Thai food in orange county and awesome service. Better than the mission viejo location. Try the ginger trio mushroom or the pineapple curry at dinner

I like this restaurant more for the Thai food than the Chinese. Last time i ordered Kung Pao chicken and it was sweet. For all the year’s I’ve eaten Chinese food Kung Pao chicken should be spicy not sweet. also there wan’t enough protein in the disk. I do reccomend the thai food. We ordered pad see eww and a curry and likes it a lot more.

This is my go to Thai food place for South OC. I’m a regular, 3 – 4 times a month, and the quality is always perfect. My favorites are the beef pad-see-ew, Tom yum soup, chicken Thai rice, spring rolls and egg rolls. The staff is extremely sweet and always accommodate my 3 year old son, even if they are packed they take the time to bring my son extra crunchy noodles, a cup with a lid and fortune cookies. I have ordered to go as well through the Unilocal app with great success. If your looking for authentic Thai food this is the place to go!

We order delivery from here almost once a week! Our favorite dishes are the, Pad Se Ew with Beef and New Years Chicken. Tried ordering online tonight and it said it was unavailable at this time. I called to see if it would be available at all tonight and the person on the other end of the phone told me they will no longer be taking orders over the internet. A bit sad since yes, I really am that lazy that I liked ordering without having to call, but at least they still deliver!

This little restaurant serves up some tasty Thai food! Some of my favorite dishes are the Tom Yum with shrimp in a hot pot and their red curry with chicken. They will also bring out some tasty spices/hot sauces on the side(just ask!) and they are THEBEST spices/sauces EVER! The restaurant is clean and consistently busy. Though there aren’t many tables, you never have to wait for more than a few minutes. This place never disappoints!

I tried to get my favorite dish here tonight. House special chicken and wonton wrapped shrimp. The food is awesome but when I went to pick it up, I stood in front with about 15 other people waiting for our orders for about 30 mins. After it was clear no one was going to help us, I left. I will probably not be back unless I know it’s super slow. I wish they would actually serve you because their food is bomb. This is not the first time I’ve experienced a delay in getting my food, but I have never just not been able to pick up my food at all.

I honestly had no idea that this place became so popular recently! This is the place that I used to go to after school got out and I had a serious hankering for Thai. Though full of fond memories teasing my friends, it’s the food that I seriously have to rave about. The menu is two-sided, one for the Chinese food and one for the Thai food. The curries here are DABOMB. Red curry is my favorite and they absolutely KILLIT here! Perfect amount of spice, the flavor is excellent, meat cooked wonderfully, and it fills you up. While the pad thai is a little sweet for my liking, it is still worth trying if you have never had it before. I suggest getting it with shrimp or chicken as beef doesn’t really suit the flavors of the sauces/noodle texture. The crying tiger is a good dish for those who have not had much experience with Thai food and need a good introductory dish. Meat is excellent and served with lettuce, sauce, and rice if I remember correctly. The Tom Yum soup, while not the best i’ve had, is delightfully flavorful, but lacks a bit of veggies/meat and is mostly broth. The service is excellent and the owner very kind; however, it can be a bit slow and we often were left wondering if one of our dishes was forgotten only to have it come out a few minutes later. But once you start eating, you soon forget your complaints. Overall, wonderful food and ambience. A little pricey for Thai food, but if you want a nice outing with friends or a place for a dinner date, I recommend it.

Finally when my order did arrive 2 hours and ten minutes after ordering, it was cold, did not have the extra hot sauce or hot mustard which I specifically asked for several times on the online order and the delivery guy said don’t order online as it is not seamless with the service because it is through a different company??? REALLY!!! DONOTORDERONLINE… The food was cold and of OK quality. I asked for a refund and Joe at the restaurant said to call him back on the next order and he will give me 10%, that is if he was there, REALLY!!! I live in Ladera Ranch and WILLNOT order through them again and will not recommend them and will dispute with AX my charges as this was ridiculous! BEWARE

Diho is on the comeback. They’ve been delivering fast and the guy that calls everyone«boss» is pretty awesome. The food hasn’t changed, it’s always been good. Now that the delivery game is tight(fast, reliable, EAT24 works well, etc) I’m moving away from 1-star town. Spicy Noodle(«pad kee mow»), dumplings and the wonton wrapped shrimp are all great choices IMO. Would be awesome if they switched away from Pepsi and sold coke instead.

The food was excellent!!! The telephone was on full blast and ringing almost every minute. No one answered the phone because they were so busy and it was incredibly annoying. If you want a relaxing dinner this is not the place The men’s room was smelly. It smelled like standing dirty water, almost like the septic tank was directly under the bathroom without a cover. The servers were friendly, polite and refilled the water frequently. We were seated and not given menus for almost 5 minutes(somewhat annoying). Everyone’s meal was brought out at different times and individually. Each meal was DELICIOUS and flavorful, masterfully prepared. Overall, we would recommend this place for take out, I would return again for dinner but maybe be asked to be seated not near the phone.

We’ve been using this restaurant since the twins were 3 months old… so about 13 years now. It’s changed hands(and décor) a number of times and the menu has skewed from more Chinese to more Thai over the years(but despite the changes has remained pretty consistently good taste-wise). The staff have always been friendly and determined to make it a good experience. The last handful of years it’s been as it is now and it is probably even more a staple in our take away than before. Aside from the occasional mix-up on a special note for an online order(no water chestnuts, add broccoli usually results in no water chestnuts or broccoli!) we are always happy with the quality and quantity of food and the timeliness. Even on a busy night with the online estimate being 40+ minutes we usually get our order in ½ or less — and that’s delivery! We all have our personal favourites. Cameron usually gets the pad Thai or yellow curry(gaeng garee). Sometimes he’ll switch it up with a red curry(pa-nang) or the spicy beef salad(yum nuea). In all these the protein is always fresh, lacking gristle or excess fat, and juicy. The yellow curry is rich and creamy with mild heat but a decent layering of spice-flavour. You can ask for a hotter level of spice with this or any other curry, of course, but the standard it comes with is minimal. The pa-nang has a fantastic coconut creaminess to it, like the yellow, but also with Thai basil. The liquid is quite flavourful and(as with any of the curries really) is fantastic used in a home-made stirfry the next night on! I’m not big on pad Thai — I find it a little bland for my tastes — but it is well made with a nice taste and texture contrast between the crunchy bean shoots and green onions, tender noodles, and crushed peanuts. The beef salad is gorgeous. The roasted chillies add a great flavour(and heat) to the marinated beef and greens. Briannah always goes for orange peel chicken(our lone regular main dish from the Chinese side. With white meat chicken, sweet sauce, and a batter that’s not thicky and gluggy it’s tasty. I do think it could be a little tangier and less sweet, but it’s a favourite with all the kids). She will also take egg rolls if she can get them. The egg rolls have a tasty crispness that complements the veggies stuffed inside. We really like the honey-plum sauce they come with as well. Erin considers the green curry(gaeng kaew waen) with tofu to die for and the wonton soup fantastic if she’s feeling unwell. The green curry has a coconut milk/Thai basil base layered with a nice combo of heat and spice-flavour and can be turned up a few notches if you like without losing its taste. I love that I can see the chopped up chilli floating in the sauce! Actually, you can see the spices suspended in the curry sauce for any of them which is good. Curry should be built on a concoction of spices. The tofu is lightly sauteed before being added to the curry and holds its shape nicely. Under the seared coat it’s tender but not sloppy. The wonton soup(our second addition from the Chinese menu) is good. It used to have a stronger peppery flavour but these days is mild with a good«broth» flavour to it. There’s a decent amount of wontons, prawns, and other proteins in the portion along with bok choi and carrots. I recommend adding ground black pepper to it before drinking it though just to up the flavour a bit more. Ellwyn is an equal opportunity devourer — whatever anyone else orders she will steal. Me? I love so much on the menu. Some personal favourites are the curries. I also love the ginger & mushroom trio stir-fry. The ginger is sliced in long strips and is fresh and peppery. The pad ka na(Thai green leaf broccoli) with garlic stir-fry is tasty but if you want a spicy stir-fry, the chillies and Thai basil(pad kee Mao) is really really good. I get it with beef, no bell peppers, add broccoli. Good amount of heat paired with fantastic flavours. I think Thai basil and chilli is a perfect pairing to base a stir-fry or curry on, I have to admit! We often get the Thai fried rice with chicken — it’s a mild dish but tasty and goes well with all the curries. The pineapple fried rice(with cashews) is also crazy good but doesn’t necessary go as well with everything since it has a stronger, more defined taste. Our favourite person there is Joe, but really, everyone is lovely.

My sister-in-law loves this Diho! This location is close to home. It’s in the same location as Starbucks(which the hubs likes) & Albertsons(where we shop). So whenever we are feeling lazy & happen to be in the area anyways, we’ll stop by for a bite. Everything is always a touch too sweet for our taste, even though we ask them to dial down on the sugar & also a bit too oily. But overall, the flavors are good… solid A-ok on the Unilocal scale. The owners & waitstaff are very nice and will try to accommodate food preferences. We ordered lad nar once & it was not to our liking at all :(So they replaced our dish with another noodle dish of our choice. We really appreciated that! We’ll definitely be back since it is SIL’s favorite Thai/Chinese restaurant in the area.
