CLOSED. As of 2÷1÷16 this location, inside the Pavillions market, has closed. Stopped in on my way home. They were packing up some stuff and there was a Thank You for 15 years notice taped to the glass. The Panda at Los Alisos and Santa Margarita Pkwy is better anyway, and stays open ’til 10.

Nasty. Nasty. Never again. Mushy rice. Im not sure this is even shrimp. If I had been the one to pick up food, judging from the fried rice I would have walked out. Update: Found hairs in the food. The hubby is definitely returning this.

Inside Pavilions. Not a nice place. The food is usually more sugary than your typical Panda Express fare. Nothing to keep you coming back, this is the absolute last resort for a weeknight take out if you’re feeling lazy.

I like Panda Express but not this one, I felt like I was inconveniencing them. Poorly served servings, I got this«look» when I asked for a second soy sauce packet, she replied that she already given me ONE. Really?

Yuck! I know alot of people say ew~ panda express?! Yes, I actually like eating panda express. Went to this location and noticed that its inside Pavillions. Walked to the counter to order and was waiting. The girl was cleaning the tables and pushing the chairs in and CLEARLY saw me standing there. So I’m standing there waiting and she decides she is going to just continue finishing up on all the tables and chairs instead of taking my order. When she’s done she finally goes inside and takes my order. Not very friendly at all. I get chow mein, beef & broccoli and orange chicken. Get back to the office and am ready to grub. Portions are very small, food isn’t very fresh and tastes bad. I think the best part of the meal was the fortune cookie. Even the sierra mist wasn’t good! Didn’t have alot of carbonation and tasted very sugary. This is probably the 2nd panda express I’ve ever been to that had horrible service, small portions and food was bad. I would think being inside a market you’ve got access to the freshest ingredients but seems like the food was from yesterday. I hope I don’t get sick.

Very convenient location. Some of the servers are great, some need to brush on their customer service. My kids love the chicken orange

I love Panda Express but this place is the first location I’ve been to that has never — not once — had brown rice available. Every time they say it’ll take 20 minutes so today I said okay, I’ll wait for it. 5 minutes after waiting, the chef came to me and said they can’t do brown rice for me at all. Beyond ridiculous.

When a restaurant like Panda Express cannot accept their own gift cards there truly is something really flawed in their system. I even called Panda Express Corporate on this matter and they say it’s true… because they are inside of the Vons Pavillions store they cannot accept it. They apparently have there reasons for doing so but to be honest with you, Panda Express Corporate, I find that to be very unacceptable. How does that encourage customer loyalty? In my opinion it only discourages it. Ted V.

I don’t know but every time I eat at this panda express, I am violently ill within half an hour of eating the food. I don’t know if they just let their food sit there all day because there isn’t as much traffic as a normal panda? FYI, I am fine with other Pandas

I know… it’s a fast food franchise location, right? Why review it? Again, as I’ve done before, when quality meets service, and the service is so good, that even when the quality isn’t what I’d expect, the high service level brings me back. It’s usually because I know that all the employees care about their customers, and would gladly replace any order if I complained. Located in a Pavillions market, this Panda Express is close to us. I can go from hungry to parking in their lot, to purchasing my food, and back to our place in about 15 minutes or so. And frankly, I don’t know why I shop at our local Ralphs, when this Pavillions is so much nicer, has in-store delicatessens, larger variety of products, etc.(?) So, I’ve always felt Panda Express was the best of the Chinese fast food groups… even if it’s not traditional Chinese. Sure, there are lots of calories in a two or three entrée«to-go» order. But the food is what I call«Chinese Comfort Food.» It’s like a carnival trick… it looks good, tastes good… even if it’s really not good for you, in a purely medical sense. And most important about this particular Panda location… they really pile on the rice, chow mein, and entrees. Good thing we’re not charged by weight! They don’t count the shrimp… they just keep spooning them into the container until there’s no more room! What really intrigues me, is that for less than $ 8 today, I got a split side of fried rice and chow mein, orange chicken, broccoli and beef, and two veggie spring rolls. About $ 7.50 including tax! In today’s «order out food world», that’s really a good value. And although it’s an unfair comparison, I enjoy comparing my «4 item» meal to just one entrée at my local Thai restaurant. Granted, the Thai entrees are better, but I can’t help reminding myself that I’m getting«4 items» for the price of «One.»(I thrive on variety!) Just sayin’ is all…
