Panda Express

It is Panda Express. It is cheap and fast chinese food. The line moves fast and the service here is better than you will find at any Panda Express.
They usually keep the entrees very fresh. If the orange chicken is looking a little sad just ask them for some fresh orange chicken!

Gave it a star as it was only an option to proceed unless I would give it nothing.
Food is okay, the workers are rude and have no customer service. Kids like the food, which I don’t agree, but if it wasn’t close by I would not give them the time of day, especially for their rude service.

Strictly about Thai he is great very calm. He has a good flow. I see Thai all the time when I come in. The restaurant is a high flow business an the first person you see is the first representation of the restaurant .
Thai askes you what you want. or if you already know he is ready when you are. the nice thing about it thai keeps the bins always full (from my observations the person who stands there tells the guys who cook what to cook an when to cook it or says there startin to get low,)communicates with his cooks. there was a family in front of me when I came in today there was like 4 people he grabbed 2 at trays at once not going back an forth to grab 2 he took one trip instead of 2 it’s not a big thing but in quick serve food time is money saving time is saving money. An I appreciate Thai’s work ethic food is panda food but having somebody who represents it with a passion for customer service in mind. Is very much appreciated as a customer .
Thai I noticed wears a black shirt instead of everyone else’s red shirts .
Honestly Thai brought my review originally from a 3 star to a full 5. Just off of good customer service an solid work ethic focused on the job at hand. It doesn’t matter if it’s panda or Ruth’s Chris good customer service is good customer service. Thai has that.
Come grab a bite to eat an check it out for yourself.

Customer Service is a total joke.
Ribela actually told me it was «Against the Law» for them to do the steamed vegetables without the sauce they use.
Nancy and Jocelyn were rude as well.
The location off Oso inside Pavilions is WAY better and the customer service is fantastic… worth the drive.
We will not return to this location.

I’ve been coming to this Panda Express for almost 1 year about now. Each time has been great. This one tastes better than many other pandas I’ve tried. The best time is when they cook a brand new batch. 11:30-noon is always good before the infamous «rush.» Then there always seems to be another rush at evening times sporadically. But the lines are QUICK… if you get stuck in one. And it’s never panda’s fault. It’s usually an indecisive mom who wants to taste every item, or can’t decide which dish, or ordering for an entire school team… jeez.
Price: super cheap compared to a full sit down restaurant
Environment: is great for kids and adults indoor and outdoors… plenty of seating. There’s a little patio section and Ice cream is next door.
Food: it’s usually consistent and fresh unless you show up before they close. This panda has a lot of traffic, so they are always cooking fresh batches.
Don’t expect this place to be a gourmet style Chinese restaurant. This is quick, on the go! As mentioned before, this is better than many other panda locations.
It’s definitely a good lunch spot for me.

Place is clean, service speed is acceptable. I came in during lunch hour. Workers are friendly. Food taste is so-​so. My chicken with green beans seemed like it was made a few hours before. The portion size is good — they didn’t skimp on servings.

Absolutely terrible. Portion sizes are laughable. Filled out a survey for them that had the question «quality of ingredients» which I also found humorous. Primarily due to the fact that I had a conversation with an employee just now who stated that every dish — including white rice — has gluten in it because they use wheat-​based starches and thickeners in all dishes… Which brings me to my next point: not a single gluten-​free option. Aaaand they still have MSG… Which they say is naturally recurring in soy sauce. They don’t mention the addition of MSG to their individual ingredients — they just say «no extra msg added.» Ridiculous how a business like this still exists. Probably due to people waiving the bait and switch BS for «convenience» like me this time. Never again!

I really like this Panda Express in Ladera Ranch… The staff are real friendly, they serve hearty portions, the line moves along fairly quickly when there is one and the dining room is very roomy and always clean. Great seating outside as well with a nice fountain and pleasant view of the shopping center, like you’re eating in the beating heart of the Ladera Ranch fast casual dining scene. Always my first choice when I’m super hungry and renewing my AAA membership next door.

he is doing greta job, to make his guest happy, I had caring order for 50 people, they did amazing job, but they still need to work on their service ! cashiers looks unhappy or they forced to work! Im sure they can do better

Some Chinese claiming it’s not Chinese food (have heard that even in the restaurant) but writing a bad review because of that? Come on. Not everything is going to taste how momma makes it. ANYWAYS. This is my favorite Panda Express. If it’s always packed, isn’t that something good? Goodness, people and their entitlements. I love the food, the people that work there are friendly. There’s times I have waited for some chow mein but I rather wait for 5 minutes and have it freshly done (something most people don’t think about). I have never seen roaches as one reviewer has claimed. I have been coming to this one for 2 years. Love it.

This particular location always gives me heartburn. Not sure why, but we stopped eating here and drive further to others because of this.

There were 2 servers: how many squirrels does it take to count 2 orders that held up the line??? Apperantly 2.
End up walking out without buying anything, people were angry and frustrated, take out chaos!!!

I’ve eaten here at least 20 times if not more. It’s always tasty and even when they’re slammed during lunch the wait isn’t ever more than about 5 – 10 minutes from start to finish. The food is excellent for a quick wok style Chinese «pick your items» kind of place. The staff is usually friendly but they have their ups and downs. To be clear, I don’t come here for entertaining staff, I come for the food and quick service. I’ve never had anyone be rude to me but I have had a few clueless crew members at times. Again, as long as they can dish out my food correctly I don’t care.
The place is really clean and there’s plenty of parking. The big advantage for me is they’re open late, 10 pm most days.
The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because they never have Beijing Beef when I happen to come in. I’ve had to wait for it to be made the last 3 times. I’m ok with waiting and it’s my favorite… But if it were ready and waiting like everything else this would be a 5 star in my book.
All in all, I’d happily eat here any day of the week and I’m always quick to suggest it to friends.

Ive had good service and bad service. Overall i am satisfied when i order my food online and just have to walk to the register and pickup. This makes it easy during my lunch hour. It is a panda express so no fancy food, since you only pay 6 – 8 dollars and get a ton of food.

What has happened to the food at panda express? The meats are shriveled and the flavor is so artificial and off these days. The prices are also getting more expensive as the food is getting worse. There are definitely better options elsewhere.
The service at this location is perfectly fine, my comments are only directed at the food.

Panda is an occasional treat for me. You must beat the dinner rush here though because the line runs slow here.

Great for take out.

This place is always crowded, so although I’m not a fan of fast food chinese, I decided to give it a try. First couple times were fine. However last night I got a kids meal for myself, orange chicken and fried rice. I got HORRIBLE food poisoning and spent the entire night and this morning throwing up fried rice. NEVER again. Just wanted to warn you this came from a kids meal and it was most likely in the rice. So take your kids to eat at a better place.

This probably could’ve just been a Quick Tip but, you know, whatever…
I’ll just say this location always seems to have hot & fresh options available. Most of the other Panda Express’ I go to leave the rotting remains of the day’s food sitting in a sad clump in the center of the tray, but this spot seems to have piping hot, fresh food throughout the day. I realize you have to go into Ladera (ugh) to get it, but if you’re there it makes for a good, quick meal.

First of all, I appreciate what Panda Express is… fast food Chinese. It doesn’t try to be 5 star authentic Chinese food but still satisfies my Chinese food craving for a cheap price. The quality of of the food has always been fresh and very tasty at this particular location and most of their entrees are really good. Plus, every time I’ve eaten here, all the workers are extremely polite, friendly and helpful. I usually always go with the chow mein as a side instead of rice, simply because rice can’t stay moist if it sits out.
So, please don’t listen to some ridiculous people who knock it simply because it’s a «chain» restaurant. And YES, it is Chinese food…
