Being a pizza snob. crust is good… weak on sauce and really needs more cheese… your price is too high…17 for a large sausage that needs sauce and cheese… cash only… sorry but just not worth it

Overpriced. $ 16 for a tuna hoagie and Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was lettuce and croutons, with a small Ken’s dressing pouch, no cheese. The tuna hoagie was fine. Will take our business elsewhere next time.

Our family has enjoyed Vino’s Pizza for years. Fabio and Pasquale are the best in the business. You know, this isn’t any old pizza shop. These guys are head and shoulders above the competition. The crust is out of this world delicious and always cooked to perfection. We really love the thin crust. They have unique slices to taste on nights and weekends including: taco style pizza, white pizzas, bbq chicken and my personal favorite grandma’s pizza(a thin crust Sicilian with a bit of spice). We wish there was a Vino’s Pizza when we travel to Cape May. Recently my Father in law put a pizza oven in his backyard and we MUST always bring Vino’s dough. Plain and simple this place is TOPNOTCH.

Vino’s is a solid pizza and that’s mainly all I get there now. I’ve always enjoyed my meals from Vino’s. The white pizza is among the best white pizzas around. The dough is very tasty to me and that is one of the reasons why I love the cheesesteak Stromboli. It’s always prepared so well, with just the right amount of dough.

Visited: Wednesday — January 21, 2015 — 11:30 My usual destination is the Wawa at the«Shops at Lafayette Hills». As I walked toward Wawa, a sign on an eating establishment announced«Soup’s On». I quickly ventured inside.(I’ll re-visit Wawa next week) To my surprise, pizza of every assortment was viewable through the display case. My eye immediately was diverted toward the Margherita pizza. My name was on it, so to speak, it spoke to Me, so I was«obligated«to order it.(I’ll try the soup next week… after I re-visit Wawa) The pizza was re-heated and ready within 30 seconds. It was hot, colorful, crispy, and delicious albeit a bit greasy.(I’ll try the Sicilian pizza next week after a re-visit to Wawa and after the soup at Vino’s Pizza place)

I’m really just not pleased with Vino’s Pizza after my first, and possibly final visit. Went in looking for something quick to eat. Was going to go to Wawa for the second time that day, but decided this could be a good change of pace. Pizzas on display looked pretty good, so I ordered a few slices. Then I found out that they don’t accept credit card. Seriously? What kind of pizza place doesn’t take credit card at this point? Your pizzas all cost $ 20+ and you offer entrees that run you about $ 18 or $ 19. I would understand if you were a specialty shop with a few signature items, but your menu takes up half of an entire wall! So yeah, I had to use the ATM, which I never do because of fees. $ 2 fee by the ATM itself, $ 2-$ 4 fee coming from my bank, so right off the bat I’m down about $ 5. Then they ring up my 3 slices and fountain drink. $ 13.50! That’s $ 4 a slice! Are you kidding? We’re not at the Jersey Shore with slices twice of your head, we’re in Pennsylvania. That’s overpriced by about 40% easy. The pizzas are overpriced by about 33%. You’re not selling gold, you’re selling very average PA pizza. My chicken bacon ranch slices were extremely bland and disappointing. I’m sorry, but after ATM fees and overpriced slices, I spent around $ 19-$ 20 and left disappointed. One plus– They are actually Italian. I heard them speaking to each other and that gave me some for them. Because I know this is a family business and the pizza business is not easy, I’d never go with a 1-star, but there’s a lot of room for improvement here.

Stopped in on the late night and saw they were still open. Decided to stop in for a couple-a slices. They were good, cooked well. An equal out of marinara sauce to cheese ratio. The slices, weren’t overly large. They were about standard pizzeria size. Added my toppings and I was out.

I’ve been going to this place for over 35 years, even back when the business was known as Casa Pizza. Fabio and Pasquale are great guys and make the best pizza in the area. Try their«Grandmom’s Pizza»…it’s awesome and has a little kick to the sauce.

Bit into pizza and felt something hard. It was a piece of metal. Called restaurant to explain the situation and learned that it was a wire/bristle from a brush used to clean pans. It did not seem like the first time that this had happened. Would not eat there again due to safety concerns.

I always go to wawa and forget this place is here! Came in for a last minute slice as they were closing, manager(owner?) threw in a second slice for a few cents more — definitely coming back here more often!

The BEST sicilian pizza. Super crunchy bottom, and nice chewy base. Sausage topping rocks as does the veggie Sicilian. Plain pizza is perfect too — but eat it that day. I’d give this place 5 stars if it took credit cards. Cash only :(

Vino’s steak sandwiches rock! The steak is always served hot, never lukewarm. when you request onion, the chopped onion is grilled to the point of carmelization. And if you request mushrooms. they are fresh grilled, never canned, and a delicious addition to the sandwich. And The roll is so good, so aromatic, so perfect, it almost brings a tear to my eye! Family owned by two real Italian guys, great service too.

Stop one on my new PIzza Tour through Lafayette Hill, Andora, and Roxborough. Vinos– I stopped in for a couple slices and went back for a couple more. The crust is quality and service is right there with it. The toppings leave something to be desired. The pizza looks to be the best value based on the menu prices I saw. I may not go back though, unless I am craving pizza and nearby.

Vino’s is your run of the mill pizza/sandwich place. It won’t introduce you to anything you’ve never had and it probably won’t be something you’re craving on your ride home from work but it fulfills its duty as a quick neighborhood spot. And one positive is that it’s priced like one: nothing(that I order, at least) is overpriced. It’s in the same complex as Wawa, which is a good thing because they don’t accept credit cards and don’t have an ATM. And to be fair, I’ve been ordering here for a year or so and they’ve never messed up any of my orders. Vino’s doesn’t quite deserve a 2 but still isn’t a 3. Is it worth checking out if you’ve never had it? I think so. Is it good enough in a pinch? Yes.
