They were awesome! Our waiter, Lang, was really nice and accommodating. The food was amazing, I had the beef stew w/egg noodles and the chicken noodle soup and both were to die for! As soon as you walk in you can smell delicious spices that really set the mood, as does the music and the way the place looks. Everything was awesome, definitely worth five stars!

This was our second time eating here and both times the service was top notch. Tonight our server was Lang and he took great care of us. The food was fresh and delicious. My husband had the shaken beef(again) and he is addicted. I had the short ribs(I cant remember the name of the dish) over noodles. We also had the chicken noodle phở. My daughter had the beef stew. All the food was fantastic. We are new to Vietnamese food but we are huge fans now.

Good viet place to eat in Lafayette since there’s hardly any competition for them except for one other place by them. Small place, so it gets pack up. Food is good for this area, price is on point. Service is kind of slow, if you see me putting down the menu and just looking around I’m ready to order! 4 star because it’s in Lafayette, now if it in new Orleans or houston, this place will get crushed in quality and quantity! When you ate at a authentic Vietnamese restaurant, you know what’s a good quality and quantity for what your paying for.

Very good. The phở is very flavorful and comes with fresh ingredients. Comparing with other Vietnamese restaurants, I would say this place is one of my top go-to spots.

Vincent was our server and I can’t help but rave about the superb service! He was extremely courteous and attentive! His recommendation of the flavorful bowl of Hu Tieu was spot on! The food was definitely great but the service is what made the experience over the top!

Outstanding food and service. This is a can’t miss destination for Vietnamese food. I had the grilled beef and shrimp rice plate with a fried egg. The beef was flavorful and tender and the egg was hot off the grill. The summer rolls were so fresh and the phở had one of the most flavorful broths I’ve had. The brisket and flank steak were a little fatty for me but my husband loved it and this did add to flavor. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and the service was very fast.

Love this place! The Bun Bo Hue(spicy beef noodle soup) is the best in this area. The other dishes are very good and authentic. The restaurant is very clean and waitstaff are super friendly! The smoothie shop next door is lagniappe!

I’ve been here so many times, and it’s become one of my favorite lunch spots in Lafayette. The food is absolutely excellent. The quality of the phở is amazing, and I love the winter rolls appetizer. Parking is very easy, and service is always quick and professional. The prices are a great deal for the quality and size of the food!

One of my go to places for Viet food if I can’t get what I crave at the time from my Mom. We’ve ordered lots of their appetizers and have never been unsatisfied. My husband orders his usual chicken phở. The broth is really good, not too much star arnise and not strong in cinnamon. The small phở is just the right amount for him since he drinks the broth as well. The vegetables that comes with it is always clean and that’s the best part! No ugly brown tips for the bean sprouts. I’ve ordered their phở dac biet, pork, chicken and beef rice plate, phở hu tieu, and their bun bo hue. All were really, very tastey and not too far off from what I consider the best(which is moms comfort food). We always return bc of the consistent good food and good service.

Was craving noodles a week ago and gave this a shot. The place was busy considering it was a Thursday night. Was seated within a few minutes of a server noticing me at the door. The menu selection is good: I’m glad to see that they kept the house special phở on the menu, as I’ve seen more westernized places take anything off the menu with tripe. Though how come it’s not #1? That’s standard phở house numbering scheme, always start with the Dac Biet. Anyways, I played it super conservative phở chin nam. Didn’t feel like anything special. The broth itself was very clean, not greasy at all. One of the better broths I’ve had. The meat was a higher than normal quality, and for the prices here it better be. I’m not used to paying this much for phở. The fixings portion was enough for one person, looking around it didn’t look like they upped the amount too much for larger parties. The reason why this place is only 3 stars for me was the noodle quality: it was crap. Very very overcooked, where I couldn’t keep them from breaking off back into the bowl when picking them up. I could forgive just stuck together at the bottom of the bowl(which they were) but trying to get it to my mouth and being perpetually splashed me in the face just angered me. It became some chopstick/spoon action. Value: Got out of here with a small phở and water for $ 11 – 12 after tip. Not a terrible price for dinner but I’m honestly happier with a po boy at this point. I don’t have a ton of choices here for phở, and given this high rating and my opinion on the quality, I will have to try something else next time around. Update 3÷1÷15 Went back as the place I intended to eat at had wrong business hours. Instead of phở I went with the house special broken rice, another staple of phở joints. Came out quick and hot. The amount of meat was good, as expected of the $ 13 price. The thin sliced pork was slightly moist, with a good chargrilled taste to it. The egg was nice and firm, good flavor to it. All of these things wouldn’t make me change my review score as they were done as well as places I’ve gone before. It was the clear broth. That has to be one of the best I’ve had. Extremely flavorful, and that was just the broth. They use it in their other soups, and because of that I will be back to have it again in another dish.

We ordered the Grilled Beef and Shrimp with an Egg. Also got an order of Phở Hai Sun(Shrimp, imitation crab meat, fish meat ball, & clams). The Phở Hai Sun broth was really good. On the other hand the fish meatball was just one inedible spongy chewy mess. The clam was okay it absorbed the flavor of the Phở broth but it to was also chewy. Despite this the Phở made up for the two chewy items. The beef and shrimp dish was well cooked and it tasted great. I will definetly come back.

If you are going to get PHOTHAI soup, this is the place to go. Don’t try another spot, even if you have to drive a little ways, go here. Don’t know about any other dish here except the PHOTHAI and it was PERFECT several times over the last few months!

I have to say, the food is great. Service is wonderful and friendly. I would have given 5 stars if they fix a few things. 1. The main issue i have is the space is too small. Seating are crowded and feel too cramp. Now I no longer go there since I have a 5 months old boy and we feel uncomfortable eating here due to space limited. We now go to Phở Sài Gòn now due to space issue. 2. Each time we order P64 which is a rice pork chop dish, the egg cake and shredded pork always taste spoiled. 3. Food seem a little bit salty for my taste. Overall great food, excellent service but too bad space is limited.

Food is very high quality. You can tell this restaurant prepares their food with care. Everytime they’re consistent… fast quality phở. Also amazing grilled plates w white rice. They even have items for little ones. My 4 year old loves the noodle bowl w grilled chicken and egg roll. This place is awesome sauce!

Lafayette, you’re very fortunate to have a Vietnamese restaurant, of this quality. If you’ve been, you know what I’m talking about. If you haven’t, go! Nothing to be afraid of. I had a «noodle newbie» join me for lunch. Our server brought out samples of the various broths and described each bowl, in depth. The noodle bowls are so fresh & flavorful, and those spring/summer/autumn rolls are not to be missed! Phở-king amazing food, & service to match!
