They’re just consistently good. The menu(besides the sushi) is what you would traditionally find at a Vietnamese restaurant. They’re clean, friendly and the waiters and owners are always nice. Hot pot: seafood and meat. SPLURGE yourself and some friends with this. You won’t be sorry. It’s a great dinner to have good conversation over. It’s around $ 30-$ 60 if you have the meat and seafood combo. I might be wrong in price but we had both so that’s why it was kind of spendy. The broth is nice and spicey, the produce is clean and fresh, the meat and seafood is nice neat and clean. Chicken phở/phở dac biet: both broths were very good, I really have no complaints. Pork chop/chicken/short ribs rice plate: I get mine with the meat loaf always with plain white rice. It’s always satisfying for me. The pickled veggies are good also. Fresh lemonade/coconut: always a must for me The first time we went I didn’t like the taste of most of their items bc it didn’t remind me of what my mom makes. Idk if there is a new cook or new recipes but it’s keeping us coming back Try them out. You won’t be sorry!

Very good hot pot. The sushi is really fresh and the sushi chef usually comes around trying to get you to try something and if always have been satisfied. Phở and shaking beef never disappoint

Food and service is much better since they first open. There is a sign that said please wait to be seated. But most of the time if you don’t find yourself a table you might stand there and wait for good. Owner need to correct this problem.

While in the area I decided to give this place a try. I ordered the pan fried Salmon with a garlic butter, vegetables and fried rice. This was a really good meal the salmon was well cooked and flavorful. The egg over the fried rice was delicious. Nothing negative to say about the food it was really good and priced right. The service was okay, could have been a little better.

P33 White Meat Chicken Phở… I am completely addicted to this stuff. I think I have had it for lunch or dinner at least twice a week for the past 2 months. The people are really friendly and my husband and I can have large bowls of Phở and be completely full when leaving this place for under $ 20. The place to eat phở by far!!!

This is my to-go Vietnamese. Taste like mamas cooking. My fav is ox tail phở. I went there yday, ox tail wasn’t tender enough for me. But overall broth is delish! As for people that is complaining about the service, hate to tell you this but ALL Vietnamese restaurant, you are not coming here for a good service. If you eaten Vietnamese food some wheres else besides Lafayette, you know exactly what I mean. So don’t expect a 5 star service at any Vietnamese restaurant.

My husband and I met some friends here for lunch. I usually go to Saigon Noodle for Vietnamese, but my friend was set on eating here. The décor was ethnic but nicely done. I wasn’t feeling Phở so I ordered the beef Bahn Ni, which is basically a Vietnamese poboy. It was amazing. Everything was super fresh, the bread was toasted perfectly and the flavors were expertly crafted. My husband had a pork chop plate which was also amazing. All of our friends got Phở. No complaints there either. Now for the lost star. The service was slow. The server was awkward. And just a personal pet peeve, but they gave everyone someone else’s food. Overall I would definitely eat here again and recommend this restaurant. Hopefully, next time we get better service.

This place is my last go to Vietnamese restaurant if blu basil and Saigon Noodles aren’t open. This place uses the cheapest ingredients and it’s really noticeable. I got the stir fry egg noodles with seafood and my noodles looked like it came out of a 50 cent ramen packet. The scallops were rubbery and tasted freezer burnt. I took 2 bites out of it and put it to the side and the server still made me pay for it. She didn’t offer me to get anything else. They’re not accommodating whatsoever. When I was ordering I was trying to say I wanted the stir fry egg noodles with seafood and tried specifying which seafood I wanted because the menu said«or seafood of your choice» and the server cut me off saying, «yeah, E40.» Then started to walk away. I had to stop her and say that I didn’t want certain things in it. The service and food are mediocre. This restaurant is like the McDonald’s of Vietnamese food. I use to come here twice a month, my family and friends will be taking our business elsewhere. phở Saigon could learn a thing or two from Saigon Noodles or Blu Basil.

Food is always fresh and so tasty. I have noticed as of late that the cleanly Ness of the dining room is lacking.

Pretty good Vietnamese restaurant. Their food is simple, but it’s good. I like how you can order an individual spring roll for an appetizer; that way if you and who you are with don’t agree on an appetizer you can each get your own. It’s considerably cheap for the amount of food you get, too. They do happy hour during the week: buy one phở(or sushi roll) and get another half off. The food is always fresh tasting. The waitstaff can be a little ditzy, but they are tolerable. I wouldn’t go to say it’s the best Vietnamese in town, but it’s among the cheaper ones.

I’ve been to the one in Houston. Excited to find this one. Ordered a sampling of items. Green tea, Vietnamese grilled pork roll, Spring roll, Autumn roll, Vietnamese poboy Bahn Mi and a small beef phở with eye round steak & well done brisket. The green tea came first. Loved that it is served in a cast iron tea pot. The Vietnamese roll came next. It was obviously cooked to order because I had to let it cool a bit. The shrimp was the dominate flavor. The Bahn Mi poboy was next. It was just okay, not the best I’ve had, but I’ve only tried 3. The Autumn roll and spring roll were also okay. I wouldn’t come back for them. The sauces were the highlight there because they were very flavorful. The phở broth was good. There was plenty of Chinese parsley, which I like. Plenty of meat too. Overall it was all okay. What delighted me the most was the green tea. I heard raves about their stew. I might come back to try that one day.

Worst service ever. I have been sitting here for 40 minutes and my good still has not arrived. They are bringing out food to people who got here after us. I just want to pay for my drinks and leave but they can’t seem to bring me my ticket.

I eat here all the time, great atmosphere for family and great food. They actually have freshly squeeze orange juice and not like other places where they’ll just pour«tropicana» in your cup and call it «freshly squeeze».

I was so surprised after I saw Phở Saigon’s rating on Unilocal. From a perspective of a Vietnamese have lived at Vietnam my whole life, this restaurant deserves much more higher ratings. My favorite one is the Cm Chiên Bò Lúc Lc — Shaken Beef Fried Rice, Thch Da — Coconut Jello, Cá Kho, and Canh Chua.

So after all the time I’ve planning on not coming back, someone decides to bring me back and told me the food here have improved. And yes it is, the food is now 100 times better than when they were first established. Everything have improved, and now I will be coming back more often. The food place is legit vietnamese style. from the décor to the food, I like that they don’t sugar coat the vietnamese style to cater to the«americans», but for the americans to learn and like traditional vietnamese food. Some of the old dishes I tried already have improved greatly, and are now my favorites. Some of the new things I tried are: — Combination Phở — their broth is delicious now, best phở around — Autumn Roll — Cucumber, bean sprouts, lettuce, wonton paper and grilled pork patty wrapped in rice paper — the autumn roll is delicious, the grilled pork patty is delicious — Wonton Noodle Soup with Egg Noodle — this is now of of my favorites there. the broth is on point and so delicious. However, the wonton is frozen, and you can tell, by look and taste. they need to switch out wonton brands or something. other than that, the soup is hitting! — Vermicelli with charbroiled sliced pork — this was somewhat lacking, its a light meal, but the pork chop could of been better — Steamed rice(or fried rice) with shaken beef and egg — I got mines with fried rice, and this dish was hitting all the right notes — Combination hot pot — the hot pot was mediocre, some what meats were okay and some were meh. It, however, is a good way to open people up to hot pot. — Vietnamese slow dripped coffee — delicious coffee! I guess you really gotta give place a second chance sometimes, because theres always room for improvement. I can’t wait to come back for a bowl of wonton noodle soup!

Not from Lafayette, but was referred by a family member! The staff is super friendly and the sushi bar gentleman, Roberto was extremely nice, attentive and took the time to meet with us and ask us about our likes so he could make a sushi to our liking! I am very impressed and hope this restaurant stays open so when I come I can eat here again! Thank you, phở Saigon!

Very conflicting reviews about this place. Everything from 5 stars to 1 star. This phở place this chain restaurant is not as bad as the people here have said, nor as good as some of the troll reviews who are obviously shills or employees. I’ve eaten at over 50 phở places around the US, zand I know my Phở.. and this place would fall about in the middle. Their broth is not on the same level as Saigon Noodles, but the overall dish is not bad. Three stars is about right for this very average phở chain Phở restaurant.
