Sonic Drive-In

Just ordered chili cheese coney large combo easy on the ice and an ice cream dish. First they tried to overcharge me but i noticed it and they corrected. Possibly honest mistake. When i got my large drink it was filled to top with crushed ice. Even after finishing drink it was still more than ¾ full of crused ice so not much soda actually was in it. Add to that, i did not get a receipt. Food was good, i like sonic, but hate paying for large drink only to get large cup of mostly crushed ice, especially when i asked for easy on the ice.

Well it’s Sonic; sometimes they get it right and sometimes they dont. Check your order. Many times they forget the condiments. They seem to focus mostly on drinks (slushes, shakes, malts, etc) But of course there are burgers, hot dogs, chicken, and tater tots. I like the chicken fried steak sandwich and get that with a side of gravy and eat it like a steak. I like the footlong cheese coney (messy) and the Chili Pie (served like a hot dog); My brother said the spicy chicken was too salty. They also have some great desserts. Dont forget the value menu items and kid items. (corn dog, grilled cheese) If you are headed toward Marble Falls this is the last food option for the next 45 mins 20+ miles.

Sonic is always good for a quick meal. The food what you would expect from Sonic. I like the ½ priced burgers on Tuesdays. The treats are awesome! My 11 year old is addicted to the cheese sticks. The staff is pleasant and the views are superb.

Consistently good service and consistently good food. We eat here once or twice a week.

I am so sick of the commercials with the 2 male dummies in the car. They have simply warn out their welcome on my tv. Makes Americans look like knuckleheads who didn’t bother to seek education. I would think some smart marketing person could come up with something more professional. Or maybe not? Please take the commercials off the rotation of your ads. I would like to be contacted. This kind of ad disgusts me.

This Sonic Drive-​In is the best one you’ll ever visit. I’m a local regular and have been going here for about 8 years now. The folks at this Sonic really care about their customers satisfaction. The car hops are some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet! They’re very personable and not once have they been rude. The staff is always very friendly and courteous. They haven’t gotten a single one of my orders wrong in at least 5 years now and they went above and beyond to fix the couple of times they had made mistakes by providing vouchers or giving me the correct food. I used to work there for a quick minute in HS and a lot of the same people are still there. Most of them are family. It’s a very nice atmosphere and vibe. They’re all very good people. As far as the food goes – It’s Sonic. Taste’s the same everywhere. My food is always fresh and meets my expecations at this location. If you’re looking to get a burger on-​the-​go done properly and to be treated respectfully, you won’t be disappointed.

This is by FAR the best Sonic in the great state of Texas. The staff is very friendly and do everything to make sure that your order is correct. You even get a mint or two or five. If you are in Lago Vista, TX make sure to stop by the Sonic and get your smile on! Not to mention great burgers!!!

It’s Sonic, so you know what the food is and how it tastes. These employee’s rock. Talk about nice. They are what makes this «only fast food in lago» five stars.

First off I think every Sonic’s food is awful! But here in Lago you dont want to drive forever to get fast food after a high school game or golf, so Sonic is your fast food option! The service here is very good! Super friendly, never messed an order up yet. If you love Sonic, your gonna love this one!

How often are you going to see a 5-​star Sonic? Seriously, these guys put the fast in fast food, and the service is some of the best you will ever get. I’m so spoiled by the service that many of the other Sonics out there seem like crap.
We are regulars here and I guarantee if every Sonic regular in Lago was on Unilocal,this Sonic would have at least 4 stars if not 5.

When I first moved to Lago this was THE only place, we had no CVS, no Super S, nada, zip… there is nothing like a chili cheese wrap with fritos and onions and a cherry limeade.

Happy Hour at Sonic.
I can recall living on the west coast and not having any Sonics. But I never considered it one of my picks for quality food, or even ice cream. Instead, it’s a great place to drop in quickly to grab a large thirst quenching beverage. My fave is the RT44 Diet/​Lemon/​Cherry/​Lime Aid. These tall elixirs are made with real limes and real lemons and are a panacea for HOT Texas days. Other combinations; Low Calorie Diet Cherry Limeade, Strawberry Limeade, Apple Limeade and Cranberry Limeade, Raspberry and Peach Iced Tea.
There are plenty of junk foods, ice cream shakes, sundaes and cones, to chose from, but I seldom partake.
But the best thing is, they have a happy hour everyday, from 2 — 4, when every drink and slush is half priced. And I take full advantage of pulling in, pressing the order button, and saying, «give me a diet cherry lemon lime RT 44 please.» They deliver with a smile, every time.
