Haven On The Lake

My wife and I have eaten here a few times and have taken people who are visiting us two times and all of us have really enjoyed the food. The last 3 times we visited they were pretty much sold out of their supply of Flat Creek Winery’s wines. Eating inside can be very noisy because all the talking just bounces off the wall, floor and ceiling. We stayed one night with friends for karaōke and really enjoyed it. Maybe actually adding some wall decorations and some carpet will improve the acoustics. We were there one night for karaōke and really enjoyed it and will be back for that.
We try to spend our $$$$$ in Lago Vista and really love the food Gabby cooks and more than anything want her to succeed here and at More’. This are needs more restaurants, especially good ones and this is a good one!
I encourage people visiting this area and especially locals to visit Haven! Her pot pie is amazing!

The food and atmosphere was great! The fish and chips were on point! The menu may be small but everything is cooked to order and tastes amazing. We recommend sitting outside by the lake, great views!

We ate here for the first time tonight and it was wonderful. I had the Vanilla bean marinated chicken, pan-​seared and oven roasted, finished with brown butter and sage. Accompanied by cracked fingerling potatoes and seasonal vegetables. It was wonderfully prepared, and well priced. My son ordered the beer battered fish fillets with shoestring fries and a cup of carrot, cranberry, apple, and walnut coleslaw. The coleslaw was incredible and made fresh, they even took the walnuts out due to an allergy. The patio sunset view of the lake made this an evening to remember. If you want a great meal with a resort feel, this is a great place to come.
