I order delivery from here once a week. We don’t have many delivery places in Dana Point and Laguna Niguel so I really cherish this place… plus all their food seems to be very fresh with white meat. I love the sautéed three ingredients dish: they also give nice Tupperware to-go containers not those flimsy white little boxes. I’ve read another review that complained of this but if the girl asked or read she would know they are BPA free plastic containers! they also give great portions!! I’ve been doing ordering from them almost 10 years probably since they were at the last location and will continue too! Thanks Kaleyard!

More expensive then similar places but totally worth the expense. We come here to get soup and the other dishes are good as well. I highly recommend to take out. Haven’t tried the delivery yet but sounds like something I’ll try in the future.

I’ve only ever ordered the Lotus Chicken here because it is so good. I usually do not like chicken(besides fried) but theirs is the exception. This is definitely more of a take-out place(unless you don’t really care about the restaurant experience and just wanna dine in peace) because there are usually not very many people in there. The items are also quite pricy but they do serve big portions and the staff are very nice.

OMG. This food is so so good. A friend dropped by unexpectedly and I had no snacks and no food. I have received a number of flyers from this restaurant over the past few years but never had a chance to partake… so I ordered a BUNCH of food. Chicken, steak, shrimp and combo dishes plus wonton soup. I live nearby and the food came piping hot every dish was delicious. The website is a little basic and I think it would benefit from some pictures. The fodd came inBPA free plastic containers so it was way less messy than the traditional cardboard containers. Yummy. Can’t wait for the leftovers. If you are staying at the St Regis or Ritz Carelton this is a convenient location to grab a good lunch or dinner.

Kaleyard– first, whats up with the name? When we walked in, there was a soccer match in Spanish blaring from the tv. OK. But then there was nobody to help us so we snatched the remote from behind the counter and turned it down ourselves. Oh ya, there was no one else in there but us. The atmosphere is terrible but we went because we had a 9 year old that had to have Chinese food which was fine for her but us adults didn’t find it that impressive. Food was ok/edible/we didn’t die. Prob wouldn’t go back.

We just managed to discover this place even though we have lived pretty close for around 6 years. Honestly I think delivery is a smart, competitive move for them and I probably wouldn’t have considered eating there tonight unless I was seriously feeling this lazy right now and settling for a delivery«option.» Their website is simple, but the menu has a ton of dishes that seemed familiar yet interesting at the same time. Tonight we orded the cream cheese wontons, szechwan eggplant, and the Mongolian beef. All were very fresh, delicious, nicey portioned, and reasonably priced considering I pretty much hit the $ 30 minimum(req for delivery) exactly. They quoted me 45 minutes and showed up in 30 on a Friday night. No doubt we’d order again to perpetuate our laziness and fill our pie holes.

Would never return. Rude woman server(owner??). Can find much better food elsewhere. Really? A ping pong table in the dining area.

I ordered food to be delivered to my home. The man who answered the phone was polite. We had decided on two items, Moo Shu Pork and the Assorted Appetizers which included 2 pieces each of egg rolls, fried wontons, bacon wrapped shrimp, dumplings and beef skewer. I asked for a recommendation for a third item and was told that Sauteed Three Ingredients would be a good item to try, which I ordered. The price for these three items was $ 43.00, a little on the high side for Chinese food. Delivery is free when you order $ 25 worth of food. I thought the food was delicious! It was delivered within the 40 minute time frame that I was quoted and the delivery person was extremely nice! I hope they will have online ordering soon, or use the Eat24 service for ordering and delivering.

Food ok. Service is horrible. The were only two tables with patrons. It took 15 minutes just to get water. Another for our order to be taken! Our waitress lacked warmth. Felt like she was being put out and had other things to do. If you have any plans to do something after a dinner, don’t dine here; you’ll be late.

Although what food I had was tasty, I can’t help but be dissatisfied by such small portions. The lunch special would be better suited as a kids meal. The only reason I dropped in was to enjoy what was advertised in the menu. The menu reads, salad, soup, egg roll, «dumplings», «Chicken Nuggets», and steamed or fried rice. All for between $ 8.95& $ 11.95. This sounds like a great deal and I can’t help but be intrigued by Chicken Nuggets being on a Chinese Cuisine Menu. FYI it’s a third of a Chicken Finger and it is a Chicken Finger, «not a Chicken Nugget». I would also like to explain why I put parentheses on the Chicken Nuggets and Dumplings. When you put an «S» at the end of a word it becomes plural, meaning more then one. You get a minuscule attempt of a single chicken finger/Nugget with a dumpling.

Meh. Food is super bland(is that an oxymoron?!) and very expensive. Something that mystified me was the claim of healthy food delivered in PLASTIC containers! I prefer my food without a side of BPA thank you very much. The food(and packaging) is suspiciously hot as in, I wonder if they nuke the food before delivery? Putting the items in plastic is horrible enough but then the food«sweats» in the container which takes a fried dish(Tangerine Chicken) from simply bland, but now add soggy so you end up with Bland Soggy Tangerine Chicken for about $ 13. BBQ Pork — bland. House Special Chow Mein — soooooo bland. In addition to a waste of money and with regard to taste, it was a complete waste of calories! On the positive side, the people were nice on the phone, the delivery was fast and efficient. That’s it — that’s literally all I can say that was positive about the experience.

Just a great experience. Rented a place in Laguna from Airbnb, didn’t want to drive for dinner after long hike to table rock beach. Unilocaled info and found Kaleyard. I think the woman who took our order was a little skeptical at first. But after answering a few questions she took my order. The food is amazing. First of all, they delivered it to our door. We ordered the tangerine beef, Szechuan beef and shrimp and chicken in a white sauce. We also ordered hot and sour soup and wonton soup. Everything was boiling hot and delivered to our door. Particularly good was the Szechuan beef and hot and sour soup. We would recommend this place without reservation. What a nice surprise!

Amazing delivery Chinese food. Stumbled upon this place in DP years ago and have been ordering delivery from them regularly. Crispy garlic chicken, hot and sour soup, and a Mongolian beef. All great, never a complaint. When they moved the owners stopped by my house and dropped off a new menu and told us they moved. They rock

First time there & the food was ok. This one girl at the counter was on the phone n was being so rude. She didn’t even break a smile to me(customer). The guy from the kitchen happened to be there & greeted me. Well, I must say first expression says it all. Will not go back there again.

The food was edible, but very bland and over priced. I wouldn’t order from Kaleyard again. I would rather go to Golden Dragon in Laguna Niguel off of La Paz and Pacific Park instead. Golden Dragon’s food is tastier and cheaper in price.

Best Chinese takeout I’ve had in Laguna Niguel. Excellent traditional menu. Loved the pan fried dumplings and egg rolls. The honey walnut shrimp was tasty and the egg foo young delicious! Quick delivery and my family loved it. Well done !

So sad they are this bad. Empty restaurant, hoped it was going to be yummy healthy or fun — it is none of those. We ordered 4 dishes for 3 of us to taste a couple things. Very oily, small portions — I’m trying to think of something nice to say. All three of us became ill the next morning. Gosh I wish it was great because it is close.
