Our 2nd time here. Read the new reviews, it was close by to work so I ant there again. Wow. They do give you a lot of grade C food ! My buffet was about 9 dollars, The food was not bad, the food was not good either. But I usually really love Chinese food, and this I just felt like I ate something, so therefore gets two stars… They were very generous, with the outgoing portions, it just wasn’t for me, I’d rather pay a little extra and taste something little bit better!

On Christmas Eve we didn’t had little time and didn’t want to drive around unnecessarily, so we stayed local and tried Yoon Kee. Close to the freeway, and tucked in the corner of a strip mall. Better plan your route beforehand as many of these strip malls in San Juan have poor signage from the road, or no signage at all. Look for the adjacent liquor store seen from the street. The different dishes were adequate or better, and we were in and out in maybe 30 minutes. It continues to astound me when people eat at a cheap Chinese buffet and complain about the quality. Are these people unable to see patterns? Have they learned nothing from experience? Are they learning disabled? America is full of different kinds of restaurants, and almost every larger location has a cheap Chinese buffet restaurant. The food is NEVER great, because economic reality dictates that a business could not have a bevy of great dishes ready for you at all hours. Great food takes better ingredients and more careful preparation and COSTSMORE, so the restaurant can make a profit. So why go in there expecting great food when you don’t want to spend the time and money for great food? Maybe these are the same people that go to an upscale restaurant and complain about the price. Anyways, Yoon Kee is your local cheap Chinese buffet in San Juan, and you don’t have to dress up. Come as you are and the staff will be friendly to you regardless. Yes, even YOU. P. S. Watch out for those big roasted jalapenos. They will burn baby, burn your mouth. And that is coming from a spice freak. I think it must be the roasting that makes these ones deadly.

This ok for Chinese food buffet all can eat for 6.99 the food was salty, the place inside is small about 11 tables, and couple tables outside, there’s plenty of parking space in the shopping center.

Visited this place for lunch as one of my employees recommended Chinese food here. The place is all you can eat for $ 6.99. They had a nice selection of food but everything in restaurant looked dirty and unappealing. The food was no better. The orange chicken was the only thing decent. Everything else was rubbery and had no taste. The teriyaki chicken was the worst. I’m not sure how old those chickens being cooked are but boy was it chewy. Yuck! I know it’s $ 6 but there is a reason for the price. To top it off I ordered a canned diet coke and when I got it the entire top of the soda had some white dust on it. Not sure if it was soap detergent or baking soda or Anthrax. Lol maybe I’m exaggerating but i was still uneasy drinking it even after cleaning the top repeatedly. When i told the owner all he did was look at me like i was speaking greek. Will never come here again and wouldn’t recommend.

3 ½ stars. I love how it is in a very different place then I would ever go in San Juan. I never have to worry about seeing people I know or dressing nice. The food is also very well priced for the quality. It’s not the best Chinese I’ve ever had, but it’s worth a try.

Unfortunately looking for a good chinese restaurant here in South O.C. is still a problem. I tried this place by the reviews and that will be the last. The food was sub par… I guess being a 6.99 buffet you can’t complain. I’m sure all the day laborers that frequent this establishment are in heaven. Maybe dinner would be different compared to the buffet though. The chicken that they used seemed like they were the dark parts of the chicken. i.e. legs, wings, thigh, etc. No breast meat to be found. I almost felt sick afterwards and my son wasn’t having anything to do with that place. Won’t be going back, since the day laborers will be taking over the place shortly.

Low quality, tasteless food that is more expensive than it should be. I’m glad none of us got sick. We will be choosing somewhere else for Chinese in the future.

Again Unilocal reviews let me down! Twice in two weeks, what is going on? I always use Unilocal to find the best places to eat! Anyway the service was great but the diet coke was flat and when I asked about it she said she had noticed it but the owners said nothing wrong with it. So the waitress brought me an unopened can of diet coke it was better but expired three days ago. Okay now for the food. Yes they cook it fresh and hot but chicken was tough or dry, soup was good, chow mien okay. For $ 7 all you can eat its s place to put feed bag on but if you want to leave say that was really good don’t go here. Atmosphere was a bit dumpy but reasonably clean. Locals place it seems just a disappointment for us as we had hoped to find a great place to eat Chinese. Won’t be back.

A definite hole in the wall that serves tasty Chinese food. Last night we ordered Mongolian Beef, Shrimp Lo Mein, Beef Fried Rice, and String Beans for take out. Everything was cooked to order and was MSG free. The portion was good. They have an all day $ 6.99 buffet. I’m not big on buffet so I have not tried it yet. On my first visit to this place we ordered combo plates to go from their steam display(the buffet offering) the food on display seem to have MSG so I was not a fan of that. I will be ordering fresh food to go from now on to avoid the MSG.

What a great little find! We were looking for Chinese for lunch and I pressed my Unilocal button on my phone. We were a bit skeptical as this really is a little hole in the wall in a downtrodden plaza but what a surprise. The place was very clean, the staff was extremely friendly and all the food was fresh. Usually with Chinese buffets you get soggy noodles and average tasting food. The spicy pork was the right spicy. The vegetables all had crunch. The BBQ pork was juicy and tasteful. The price was $ 6.99 for an all day buffet! We work right around the corner and will definitely be back.

We had a delivery order: one Kung Pao chicken, one garlic shrimp, and one shrimp fried rice. Although they said it would take 45 minutes to deliver, it only took like 20 – 25! Also, the food was surprisingly really good taken into account that this was the first time we ordered delivery from an Asian place! All the food was warm and pretty dang good. Personally, I liked the Kung Pao chicken the most because it’s the perfect balance of slightly spicy while sweet. We will DEFINITELY order from this place again in the near future!

Went to this Chinese joint after church on a Sunday noon, yes we were starving so we chose the closest place we can get our grub on. Luckily, the place wasn’t so busy but there’s still other families eating there. The customer service was great – very friendly and kind. We were supposed to order up front, but the server let us sits and just told him what we wanted. We got Kong Pao Chicken(good and spicy) and Broccoli Beef(yahknow, your typical beef with broccoli) When we got our order, it was served individually with steamed rice and a side order: it was basically a plate for one person each and we didn’t know it was like that. We were expecting a separate plate for broccoli, kong pao chicken and a separated plate for the rice, too but it wasn’t like that. So the guy just gave us extra plates, he also served us two bowls of egg soup(which was very delicious, btw) The guy noticed that baby sister loved the egg soup, so he got some to-go for her, haha. I thought it was very sweet and thoughtful. The food is very very affordable, I believe the total was less than $ 23 but yeah, it’s alright but the customer service was excellent.

I am rating this as a 5 stars because the price is great for what you get. The pepper chicken was great with a little heat spice. They are very nice people working here. I love Asian food and this is more your basic American style Asian food and not authentic.

I usually order delivery despite the minimum knowing that their portions are great. I specifically asked if their was shrimp in some of the noodle dishes due to a shrimp allergy, said their was none, ordered it… The delivery guy was professional and on time but I hate knowing I payed for product that I’m allergic too… I don’t know how«allergic. no shrimp» translates too extra shrimp on my noodles. I can’t even enjoy the other food due to the fact that I’m doped up on Benadryl for having an allergic reaction to the food. Oh well… my room mates really enjoyed them

INCREDIBLE hole in the wall with a non-stop line of local cognizatis diving into the exceptional buffet. Off the beaten path between a liquor store and laundromat. I meant to dive in for only one plate but couldn’t resist…
