Great portions of steaming hot veggies with curry chicken put in convenient paper container w another for the fluffy rice. Plenty left over for a later meal. Will go back again every time I return to Laguna niguel from salt lake city where we live

Horrible service. Horrible food. I will not be eating here again. They also have a problem with answering the phone.

I saw a lady eating salad from the window and it looked good so I decided to try the salad. I ordered Miso Chicken salad and it was delicious! The lettuce was crisp and the dressing on the side was perfect. The girl behind the counter was pleasant and friendly. It was the perfect spot to stay cool and eat a light meal. Will be back again.

Went in for a buy one get one deal-should have known by the giveaway! No good! Ordered Thai Curry chicken snd it was rubbery with what looked like chicken pretend. The Orange chicken was weird. They deep fry with batter and this is where it gets weird… instead of normal vegetables in the dish its huge pieces of orange and HUGE watercress discs like mini hockey pucks. Blech! The fried rice was so so. Done with Pick up Stix.

I didn’t think it was possible to make Chinese food so unhealthy. I love salt but this place loves it even more. I think they should serve fee Gatorade with every meal. Ok, it’s fast food but not even fast food prices. Total crap and unhealthy overpriced food. The service I s good, that’s the only reason I gave then two stars. Check out the Little Kitchen Asian Café just down Golden Lantern near PCH. As healthy as Asian gets and at a reasonable price.

Pick up sticks is not bad fast Chinese food. Do not go to this location if you want your food to go. This is the closest one to our house but they always forget to put part of our order in the bag. Tonight it happened again for the last time. The manager Caciana apologized as usual and said the next time I come and I can give them my name and they will gladly give me my food. Make the drive over to Aliso Viejo or Laguna Niguel for Pick Up Stix. How hard is it to put together a food otder to go?

This is the worst Chinese food around. Over seasoned and way too salty to eat. Will not go back.

You would think after all these reviews they would improve their restaurant. The food was not great, but I am vegetarian and ordered the noodles without chicken, I specifically put NOCHICKEN in my online order. When I picked it up, the cook had just put it in the bag and he approached me and said: «here are the noodles» and I said: «no chicken, right?» and he looked straight at me and said«that’s right, no chicken». So I said: «so I don’t have to check it, right?». He said no. Well, guess what? It had chicken in it!!! Threw it away! I don’t get it. Never ever coming back here.

Within two years was disgusted enough to call their headquarters in San Clemente. Compared to the Original Stix Restaurant in Laguna Niguel this location was a 1 out of 10. Went back a year later and the same store manager was outside with her boyfriend the security guard having an argument on the customer tables out front. Called Stix HQ again and spoke to HR. Informed them that the Dist Mgr at this location cant pull it together after 2 years. House Special chicken sauce not caramelized, undercooked and gummy. Orange Chicken gummy and they used a clear syrup on it instead of orange sauce. Cream cheese won tons were white, rubbery, undercooked and would bend. Same order, same circumstances twice over a two year period. Just went again and they have a new manager, a clean store and got it right now. I expressed my feelings to their HQ that this store(previously) did not deserve to be in the city of Dana Point. It’s getting better now.

THE worst Chinese food I have ever had. I know its a chain, but some chains manage to put out pretty decent food. I had their«special chicken» and the only thing that was special is how they managed to take chicken, ground it up into tiny little bits and drown it in an awful brown sewer sauce.

Awful. I don’t know how chain restaurants still make it after all these years! Food was not HOT! And meat texture is absolutely disgusting an overcooked or old it was totally chewy… For $ 7.50(beef fried rice) they should be ashamed to call themselves a restaurant.

Not as good as other pick up stix. No 2 item combo. Orange chicken was bready and tasteless with some strange inedible peppers in it.

I enjoy their kungpao chicken and shrimp fried rice. The honey chicken was terrible. Always friendly service. Nice portion sizes. Reasonably priced. I really hate giving my $ to chain restaurants so i really try to avoid places like this — as convenient and affordably appealing they can be. Support the local indie joints over these places if you can.
