Best burger in Lahaina hands down. I usually get the bogey burger(just a bacon cheese burger) but this time I decided to branch out and go for the fish sandwich… I was definitely NOTDISAPPOINTED the fish was super fresh and grilled to perfection. I think I found my new favorite. Service was fast and friendly Tip: the booth area inside is air conditioned

I love their All Shook Up salad even if I don’t eat it there or take it home it stays good for 2 or 3 days later. To all the chefs and Cooks in the back you will do an amazing job

Fun, great burger place on Front St amongst the shops. The décor is super fun, service was great, burgers, fries/onion rings were very tasty, I loved my Duke burger! Nice view of the park & ocean.

Great food. Good place for family. Lots to choose from! The service is good, however it gets crowded, so should plan on a bit of a wait. Worth it! All the food is awesome, especially the ribs.

We were told to try this place by 2 locals at various points of our trip and we are so glad we did. Really great food and friendly service. And I love the atmosphere! It’s like an old diner! Their veggie burgers are awesome and the fish we had was perfectly cooked!

Food — decent burgers but very heavy and fatty. Service — below average as both our table and others had to ask repeatedly for things with one eventually just going up to the bar to get the sauce he had asked for in order to eat his burger. One member in our party sat down on a chair with some berry crap and it, which has now permanently stained her new dress. How do you not wipe down the tables and chairs before a new guest gets seated? Attitude — some attempt to be friendly and others just seem annoyed to work there. Also, what’s up with not being able to bring in any outside food, even if you are meeting your entire party for dinner? I had shaved ice which we all planned on sharing and they wouldn’t let me enter. I get you want me to eat there, but be kind to others and understand the concept of customer service.

The hubby got sick right after eating here. Yup, 2 days throwing up. He had the duke burger which he found a little on the heavy side. Luckily, I was ok but we didn’t share anything. Long lines to get a table and service is slow. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Absolutely the most horrible food experience I had in Maui. The burgers: Don Ho and Duke are similar to red robins in term of size, however in terms of quality it’s tough and not as tasty. The duke became such a workout for my jaw, I had to take breaks to stretch. The service: I have never experienced such blatant ignoring of my table. From going to every table but ours to: refill waters and asking how they were doing to bad talking about us 15 feet away from our table, we felt completely unwelcome and shunned. Best burger in Maui? Lies.

Foods reall good… Our server was great, filipino dude with glasses. There was one girl who was kind of rude, the hostess… but overall, liked the onion rings and burger. May come back…

Food was really good. If you get a seat on the balcony the view is Great! I had the ribs and chicken plate and it was really good! Especially the chicken. They BBQ sauce they had has a little bit of a spicy kick but I loved it!

Was in a hurry so we had to order to go. I asked what the two best burgers on the menu were, I was told the duke and the Luna. I chose the duke, it was very savory, lots of flavor, great size. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich, the kids got the chicken strips, both well worth it. I’d return for a sit and enjoy the experience

I can absolutely see why Cool Cats has won best burger 10 years in a row. My husband and I came here a couple of days ago and were so satisfied with our meal. We ordered the frings(basket of fries and onion rings) to share and I am glad we did. We asked our server if we would get more fries by ordering them on the side of our burgers or by getting the basket as an appetizer. He suggested the appetizer. It’s a lot of fries and we were looking to eat a lot of fries! Perfect for an extremely hungry couple or a normal family of 4 ;-) For our burgers, we went with the Duke(think bbq bacon cheeseburger with onion rings on it) and the Don Ho(again, like a bbq bacon cheeseburger but with pineapple chunks). As always, we split down the middle and we each got half. Both were mouthwateringly good and perfectly cooked. The buns were nice and soft, the bacon thick and crunchy, the meat juicy and tender. Big bold flavor. We had a hard time deciding which was better, but I think we landed on the Duke.

Luna Burger — delicious and just what I needed. I didn’t leave any of it behind. My husband had the Marilyn Burger which I tried and it was also very juicy and grilled to perfection. We decided to hit this spot up since we’re on our honeymoon and everyone said we should try it. We had their $ 4 well drink Wednesday special«Blue Hawaii» — Omg so yummy!!! The onion rings and French fries were crispy just the way I like them and the service most of all was on point. They kept on our drinks before they were empty, and made accommodations for my husband to store his knee walker since he got a boot on his foot from an injury three weeks before our wedding… but that another story Overall, we will return. Especially since my husband wants to try the 808 challenge which is 8 slices of cheese and 8 juicy patties that you have to finish within 30 minutes I will have to update next time if he conquered it or not.

This place was recommended to us by no less than five people during our stay in Lahaina. We were in the mood for a burger, so we tried it. It was a pretty good burger and perfectly crispy fries. I had a veggie burger(the«dream lover» — Ortega chilies, jack cheese, sweet Maui onions, tomato, lettuce and pickle) and side salad because I was craving vegetables. They also hit the spot. It was very busy, probably because it’s conveniently located, and tons of people recommend it. We saw several people leave who didn’t want to wait. They also have shakes(which we did not try) and lots of tasty-looking sandwiches.

Great place for families, and those looking for fun and affordable food in Lahaina. Cool Cats is located in the Wharf Center on Front St with a great view of the banyan tree and the harbor. A great place for dinner, and a sunset. The atmosphere is kind of 50’s — 60’s diner style with checkered floors and a arcade for the kids. They specialize in burgers and shakes. The shakes are so good, and served thick usually with extra on the side in a tin cup. There are lots of flavors to choose from, and definitely big enough to share. Try vanilla mixed with mac nuts, pineapple, and caramel. They have a full bar as well, and the drinks are super reasonably priced. I had the pineapple-tini which was great for only $ 7! The burgers and sandwiches are a good size, but some come without fries. I recommend you order a side of the french fry/onion ring mix if yours comes without. You don’t want to miss out on them, sweet with a nice crunch. On our last visit my daughter ordered the Leader of the Pack burger, and I ordered the Patsy Klein sandwich with a side of fries and onion rings. Both were really good and came just how we ordered them. The service has always been pretty great, and for the sports fans they do show the games on a few TVs. Parking is on the street, or paid lots as this is Front St and does get very busy.

It was a really long wait that night but well worth it! For some reason it had that Midwestern diner-type vibe. I can’t explain it but it reminded me of older times. The food looked delicious and I was a big fan of their menu. They could satisfy anybody. In the spirit of Irish month I ordered the corned beef and burger sandwich. We also ordered a side of fries. My wife ordered one of the burgers and she said it was out of this world. We got to-go boxes and took the rest home because we wanted to save room for the gelato place nearby. Our food came out in a decent time despite the place being packed. They’ve got great burgers here and it’s s good spot to take the family. On a Saturday night it was busy, but if you don’t mind waiting about 15 minutes while the kids play in the game room there it’ll be just fine. The next store over is a clothing store with a puppy named cookie(or biscuit) who does tricks.

After six days of Hawaiian food, I desired flavors outside of coconut, pineapple, Spam, and poke. I wanted to spend a couple hours in Lahaina, the old Hawaiian capital(yes, a tourist trap, but also of historic significance). My search through the Lahaina section of The Moon Maui handbook by Kyle Ellison led me to Cool Cat Café for the best burgers in Maui. Cool Cat Café is a laid-back diner with live music, an energetic atmosphere, and affordable menu. The outdoor patio overlooking the bustling downtown Lahaina shops allowed me to soak up the Hawaiian sun prior flying back to The North(in the mainland). The Luna Burger with avocado, bacon, and pepper jack cheese was my favorite. The Bogy Burger with bacon and cheese came in a close second. In true Hawaiian fashion, my burger arrived with a slice of pineapple on the side. Bottom line: One bite of a burger from Cool Cat Café and you will understand why this place has been awarded«Best Burger on Maui» ten years in a row.

After reviewing Unilocal and also getting recommended by our ziplining guide, we decided to try this place out! We were told the burgers were amazing. We went for dinner one evening and there was live music and the atmosphere was so hip. Everyone there was enjoying their meal, their company, and having a good time. The food here was pretty good and if you order fries, share them! It’s a lot of fries just for one person, and you have to order them separately because some meals don’t come with fries. The waitress was nice and friendly. I ordered the fish tacos since I was trying to be some what healthy while my sister ordered the burger. Both were definitely good and I loved the fries, I didn’t want to stop eating it! Overall if you are looking for a good burger with a laid back atmosphere, then check out cool cats, their burgers are pretty awesome along with the live music!
