My husband just got the worst food poisoning of his life from here. He ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and within hours was feeling nauseous. Vomiting over and over again and diarrhea, cold chills and everything. come to find out he isn’t the only one that is gotten sick from this location. I am pregnant and thankful I did not get sick. That could have been deadly to my baby. Never eating here again.

This particular location ls good. I’ve been coming here for a long time. The atmosphere is good from the inside and outside. The location is also good. I could imagine people give them a bad rating just because they mess up once or get the order wrong once on a rare occasion. They are usually great though and the employees as well. Good job on the drive-thu and the inside. Jack in The Crack.

With broken drink and shake machines, the staff is making everything the hard way. They’re attitude makes it all good. My grandson loved his first Butter Burger. They have been so busy since New Years Eve!

This Jack in the Box has good breakfast, lunch and dinner at a affordable price. Staff is friendly and efficient. I really like their breakfast sandwiches as they usually hit the spot for around $ 5!

My wife, daughter and I bought food through the drive thru. It took them a long time to get our food to us, but that’s not really why they got 1 out of 5 stars. Delayed service is to be expected from most restaurants from time to time. They want $ 15/hour but putting a burger together isn’t worth putting in effort. The reason they have a 1 out of 5 star rating is because after my wife and I ate our Jack’s Spicy Chickens, we started getting irritation in our throats. It’s been about 12 hours now since we ate the burgers and my throat hurts a lot any time I cough or swallow. What are the odds that we both feel sick after eating the same meals? I saw the guy who was putting our burgers together. He did a terrible job. There was lettuce sticking out of the little box they put Jack’s Spicy Chicken sandwiches inside of, and that lettuce was touching the counter as he boxed everything. I showed it to him after he gave me the food and said, «What’s this?» He replied, «What’s up?» My wife told me to forget it, so I threw the lettuce out in front of this kid and drove home. I shouldn’t have. I should’ve demanded a refund. Thankfully, my daughter isn’t feeling sick. She ate a Kid’s Meal(5-piece chicken nuggets). What great service, right? Getting sick because a fat kid couldn’t put a burger together properly deserves recognition. We should get these kids $ 15/hour pronto! What is everyone waiting for?!

I love this JITB. Their customer service is awesome. Just got a plain chicken sandwich for my 2 year old. Didn’t understand why he started crying after taking a bite. The AHOLE cook used the spicy chicken patty instead and KNEWIT because they cut off some of the chicken to make it fit on the smaller bun. «Sorry for the inconvenience»? Are you serious?! How about you respond like a human and not from a script. No I don’t want my money back. Yes I want to know why the cook is that stupid that they intentionally used a spicy patty instead of what I ordered. Fail. Won’t be going back here anymore. Shame. Apologize to my 2 year old for his first spice burn.

The five-star rating is based on fast food standards. They have the biggest menu compared to the others. I like their egg rolls, it brings me back to my childhood where my school cafeteria served them. Jack in the Box’s sweet n sour sauce is better than McDonald’s. I like their fries. You get to pick regular or curly fries. Oh, don’t forget to try their cheesecake. I’m normally not a fan of it, but this is yummy. I got to try their cheesecake one time due to their messing up our order. To compensate, we got a free cheesecake. Their nuggets are the best too.

My wife and I visit this jack in the box a few times a week for breakfast. we were there this morning 1−13−14 and the manager there was so professional and treated all the customers so nice, if there is a problem with the food etc they correct it right away. I believe this is franchise owned? The place is always kept very clean inside and out. It makes me wonder if the jack in the box in lake Elsinore on riverside Dr is corporate or franchise owned? That place is a dump ! I have been going there on and off for years and its getting worse daily. The manager there is terrible, they should take lessons from this jack in the box !!! Keep up the good work !!

The people in this place have no idea what they are doing. Food either takes forever or they mess up your order. For some reason it seems as if they only have like 2 employees working during a busy afternoon. Other than that it is okay, drive thru is good.

Just so everyone is aware, these employees DONOT wear gloves when preparing your food! I spoke to someone and they said that the policy is that they wear gloves at all times working the fryer and preparing food. While waiting for my food I actually watched the girl prepare my tacos without wearing gloves. She stuck her hand into the lettuce container and stuffed it into the taco, wiped her nose, and repeated for the next taco. I had them re-do my order wearing gloves and I plan on speaking to the store manager. This is absolutely disgusting! This is how people get stomach bugs and food poisoning. NEVER eating here again!

Like all other reviews on here, my problem is with MANAGEMENT. Food is fine. Employees(not management) are pleasant and fast. I was in Jack-In-The-Box on Saturday 09-28-2014. It’s my usual routine of ordering six tacos for my family on Saturday evening, after sports and before the kid’s head off their separate ways with their friends. I’ve noticed that this particular Jack-In-The-Box has a high turnover in employees. I tend to notice things like this being that I worked in the service industry for so many years. In the past few weeks I have been extremely impressed with new employee, Marissa. She is bubbly, swift and has an all around pleasant demeanor. This past Saturday I was extremely disappointed in what I has witnessed. As is common in most food industry positions one particular customer came in and placed and order for food along with a coffee… highly unusual for 4:30 at night. I placed my order just before this«gentleman»(term used loosely) in line and didn’t appreciate how he was speaking to Marissa, as he was highly disrespectful. However, I was extremely impressed with her professionalism and candor explaining to the man that she was going to brew him a fresh pot of coffee, which would take an additional five minutes or so. The man said nothing and paid for his food then sat down. The food was prepared rather quickly but sat under a heating lamp, as is typical of most fast food places. The gentleman quickly became upset stating that the, «food was getting cold,» because his, «coffee wasn’t ready.» And, «the coffee should come out first.» He was literally yelling and legitimately scared me. I would have stepped in and said something but to be honest, I was shocked and afraid. So I was frozen in place barely believing what I was witnessing. In desperation, Marissa, turned and gave him the food that was waiting for the coffee to finish brewing. Seriously, it had been two minutes. This person then insisted on having his coffee immediately as well despite the earlier explanation from Marissa. She went and got her«manager,» maybe out of fear, maybe out of confusion. I was feeling both as a spectator. This guy continues to scream at the young girl(probably barely 18), even going so far as slamming the tray down on the counter over the fact that his coffee was not ready for him when his food was ready, despite their discussion earlier that I overheard. «Management,»(very short woman, a little on the chunky side, black hair tied back in a bun, no name tag of course because she’s clearly all about professionalism) simply stood by and watched as this jerk raised his voice at the young lady about coffee not being ready for him during what is normally a «happy hour.» I was shocked that the manger would not step in to reinforce that coffee is generally not brewed at 5:00 p.m. on a Saturday night and maybe takes a few extra minutes to make. At the very least, could, «management,» could ask this guy to stop screaming so other customers in the building don’t have to feel uncomfortable? Or does my experience at your restaurant not matter as much as obviously irate crazy people? I guess not. I ordered my food«to go» and was still adding sweetener/lemon to my ice tea as this all took place. It happened so quickly this person was clearly intent on getting a free meal. I ordered before him and hadn’t received anything yet. I wouldn’t have thought I waited long at all. I was a service worker for over 10 years and this is just wrong on so many levels. Management should never allow this mistreatment of their workers for any reason. It also sets a horrible president for this business to be extorted from anyone wanting a free meal. I live in Canyon Lake and the Jack-In-The-Box off Newport and Menifee road is the same driving distance. I support all the minimum wage employees as they are always doing their absolute best. I have never had any problems with my order, or the speed of service at this location. However, I cannot support and establishment that treats their workers so poorly. No thanks, management, you just lost my business.

It’s fast food. It’s Jack in the Box. The staff is friendly and the food is as good as any other fast food stop.

I ordered a number 26 Breakfast combo. The eggs were bad(green)! They were so overcooked that they were like leather. The bacon was literally burned. I won’t go back. The drive through attendant had«mush mouth – » every word was literally indecipherable! Note to owner – pay more for an employee that is fluent in the English language. Local High School students would probably be a good fit. You get what you pay for. In-N-Out doesn’t have this problem and they pay their employees about $ 12 per hour. Likewise with Chik-fil-a.

Ordering was like we spoke German. Simple things. Can I get a number one with bacon and curly fries. «do you want the combo?» Do you want curly or regular fries?” Over and over. Then we get to the window and the manage literally says I don’t know which fries go with which so I just threw it in the bag. Food was good though. Really sloppy. So good and bad.

Had to leave for work earlier than usual and did not have time to make breakfast before I left. I stopped at JIB in Canyon Lake and ordered a breakfast sandwich by a number which turned out to be very good. I thoroughly enjoyed it as it was a change of pace from my usual bowl of cold cereal and a little milk. I need the vitamin D anyway but it was a nice change. I don’t remember the number but it was a grilled breakfast with egg, bacon, cheese and I think it had ham, too. In any case, it was delish! Thanks, Jack!

The only reason I’m writing this is because of Jay. The food is… well…it’s Jack in the Box. Enough said with that. But the employee that works the drive thru by the name of Jay is ALWAYS on his A-game. Best fast food employee I’ve ever had at any fast food chain. He truly is a rare breed. Thank you Jay!!!

I’m giving extra points because they were open on Christmas. I wanted a diet coke for the drive home and used the drive through. The girl said Merry Christmas at least three times and she was so cheery even though she had to work on Christmas night. That gets a star and a half in my book. Great employee attitude. I’ve experienced this a few times at a couple of fast food places but usually they are the REALLY greasy places. My soda tasted exactly like a Breakfast Jack. Does the grease get on the ice or something? I could taste the distinctive Jack in The Box grease that may come on other items but I only order egg on a bun at J in the B. Note to this franchise… clean the ice buckets or something. If your guests don’t order any food they’ll notice the strange aftertaste that comes along with your drinks.
