This place is horrible and unsanitary. I recently got food poisoning from their chili cheese burger. I highly DO NOT recommend this place. This place should be closed down due to how sick it got me

This Wienerschnitzel cannot get it together… like ever.
Every time I attempt to go through the drive through here, I wish I hadn’t.
I waited 15 minutes to place an order mid-​day recently, another five at the actual window, and approximately 30 before I started feeling queasy.
I always feel terrible after eating at this location. I won’t be back. They also don’t put much chili on anything. #whack

I went there today to get lunch for our office. Little Maria was working the drive thru. It was so refreshing to be able to hear her clearly, have the order repeated perfectly. When I got to the window she was outgoing friendly and helpful. And she actually handed me the milkshake after the food so it wouldn’t melt before I got back to the office, she really went above and beyond. I would give her 10 stars, great job thank you

I’m sitting in the drive thru right now and felt compelled to write a review. This place is SO freaking SLOW, it really blows my mind. I work in the OC so I frequently get food on my way home, but almost never come here because I don’t feel like waiting 15 minutes for my food.

Had lunch here and the manager was sensitive to my allergen needs. He read the labels to confirm that certain items would be okay for me to eat. When I got my food it was hot and yummy.

I’m still going to give a good star rating because the food used to be up to par but the quality seemed to have declined quite a bit in the past while. Everytime they have the Black lady working at the drive-​through/​counter, they always seem to get something wrong and mess everything up. You tell her easy ice (you know so you get more drink than ice or water) so to her that means fill the whole cup up with ice. The people they have working there now cook the food bad or something. I know these kinds of places have good suppliers so alls you need now is to have people that cook the food good and right. You’d think they’d hire the better man for the job instead of worrying about stepping on peoples toes ect. You’d think people would worry more about their business and quality instead of being politically correct.

Worst drive thru experience of my life! Waited 15 minutes to receive our food after my boyfriend and I ordered! All we ordered was fries and ice cream cones and we were THE ONLY CAR IN THE DRIVE THRU!

Love the food. The drive thru is slow for a fast food place. I have gone in there numerous times asking for difference ice cream items and have been told on numerous occasions the machine was broken or they were out of bananas (my fav is the banana split). One time I ordered dinner and then when we were almost done (we dined in) I placed an order for dessert. The lady training was yelling and getting frustrated with the girl taking my order, it was very unprofessional. (this was the time I was told I couldn’t have my banana split) I ordered 5 desserts and the new girl didn’t have a clue what to do so by the time I got them half of them were melted.
Get you act together! I love Wienerschnitze but the service needs help!

What the eff is wrong with this place?
I’ve been back twice since my review of 1 year ago. I know, silly me — but I like W’s chili dogs, and the place is at least clean. My last two visits have been very similar, in the sense that the food was hot and the place clean… but there’s two things that have soured me on the place.
First, what part of ‘fast food’ does the management not get? Even with only 1 – 2 people ahead in line, this place is by far the slowest W’s I’ve ever been in.
Second, on both occasions I wanted to order some soft-​serve ice cream. In fact there are multiple signs around the establishment that proudly proclaim ‘Tastee Freeze Ice Cream’!
The first time, I was told that they were ‘out’ of ice cream. The second time, about 10 days later, I was rudely told ‘the machine’s broken, we need a special part’.
Guys, if you can’t keep an ice cream machine properly maintained and supplied, don’t advertise that you have product.

Don’t think I’ve actually been in a Wiernerdude for many years. So drive thru is all I can comment on.
This particular location is fast. Like absurdly fast, which I appreciate. The staff is nice, speak kindly and slow, never screw up an order and the food is good.

The Manager or Shift Supervisor that works here is a complete idiot. He can’t figure out basic math and they have the slowest service of all Der Wienerschnitzels. If you have a problem he gives you a number that goes to what sounds like the Franchisee owner’s home. Some «dude» that is pausing his video game apologizes yet doesn’t even get details from you and then makes excuses for the employees by telling you lots of customers try to rip them off. I now go to the one down the freeway when my kids want something.

Popped in to grab a quick bite before going on a job site. My go to noshes are either a Chili Cheeseburger or Italian Sausage with Chili Cheese Fries. Gotta have the Chili Cheese Fries. As I was about to place my order, I noticed something new on the menu.
A Junkyard Dog. Was zat, I axed? The guy said that it was a «heart attack on a roll». A seeded bun with a dog, topped with grilled onions, fries chili and cheese. Oh my, I thought. How can a poor boy from Cleveland say no to that? Of course, I said yes and I’m real glad I did.
Now another choice to agonize over when I hit the DW.

I grew up with Der Wienerschnitzel in northern Ca. And always knew it was the go to place for great quality dogs at a great price. Now living in Lake Elsinore, l find that tradition is still strong and enjoyable.
What with the hot summer nights on us we ofter go out late for a drive around the lake. And often we do the drive through at the Der Wienerschnitzel for a treat.
The owners are always very nice ant treat you like old friends. Last nite we wanted dipped soft cones. We ordered 5 small cones, I guess they recognized my big station wagon, cause Tony handed through the first four cones, and then the last he bumped up the last to the biggest dipped cone I’ve seen in years! He said,” this is for the Chief! «Ya! That’s me!
