Farmer Boys

First of all, the drive thru takes way too long. I was stuck in between cars for about 15 minutes with a hungry and crying baby. The cars would not move at all. I know everything is made to order but it shouldn’t take 15 minutes for 2 cars. I was also disappointed in the food I ordered. I did not even eat my chicken wrap. It was disgusting and not edible. I had ordered a crispy chicken bbq wrap. There wasn’t any chicken at all! Instead there was only BREADING from the crispy chicken. TONS of salty, oily breading. No chicken in sight in my wrap. I took all of the contents out of the wrap and took a picture so you can see for yourself that I’m not exaggerating. The wrap was filled with this disgusting oily breading. Now I know why the employee would not make eye contact and looked ashamed, he knew what he was serving me but thought they could get away with it and move on to the next customer. Sorry but I review everything on Unilocal!This should not be served to customers! I wouldn’t even let my baby eat pieces from it. I tried looking for chicken or veggies in there to give him but there wasn’t any.

Went and had dinner at farmer boys in lake Elsinore I ordered the Fish Combo and Fries mind you I was really hungry because I was craving fried fish all day so got my food and the fish was over cooked the batter was beyond brown and it had a bit of a bitter burning taste it also looked like the cook had just thrown the fries on the plate and just figured oh well I’m sure he won’t tell but I did it was a waste of $ 10 and some change but just ended up not eating much of it, the farmer boys in Murietta is the best and a lot friendlier staff Damn it I’m still hungry lol!

Never heard of this place before. I went to Lakeside to check out the camp grounds and saw this place nearby. We decided to give it a try and we weren’t disappointed. The burger wasn’t anything fancy, but it didn’t need to be… the meat was sooooooooooo good!!! This is my favorite burger place now! I wish they had a location in San Diego!

Was a great store to work at, ran by great people and i miss this atmosphere!!! Keep up the great work guys!!!

Ordered at 11:21 still haven’t gotten good it’s 11:48. Talked to the manager on duty. He acted like it was no big deal. Won’t be back. Oh and it’s muggy in here and it’s only May

If I could give no stars I would. I have always liked the food at Farmer Boys, however the service at this one on mother’s day was so atrocious that I will never go to this location again. We were only dropping to grab a quick breakfast. Third car before the speaker to order in the drive through. It took 45 minutes to get our order taken. No apologies for the wait, nothing. When I asked what the issue was, I was rudely told that it was busy and there was a 45 minute wait both inside and outside. Seriously?
Then she said the two cars in front of me only ordered two things so it should be quick. We ordered one thing because I was too upset too eat. My daughter ordered chili cheese fries… Took another 15 minutes to get to the window, and the fries weren’t even hot. Still no apologies. I have worked fast food managed staff and there is no excuse for this.

Food was great, service was fast and friendly. Store is very clean! Love the bacon turkey melt.
I will rack frequently!!!
4÷25÷16 today I had the best Cobb salad, very fresh and lots of it. Carol was our server and was very friendly and courteous !

My husband and I always go half and half on a grilled chicken club and a salad. Never disappoints! This is my new chipotle.

My experience was so good I am really surprised at some of the reviews.
When I first looked at the menu I thought it was overpriced but once I got our food I changed my mind because the food was not only plentiful and fresh but extremely tasty.
The service was excellent and extremely friendly. This was our first time and I cannot remember when I have been so impressed by a chain restaurant.

I have heard a lot of bad reviews on this location, and have avoided most of the time. However, I will say I have never had a bad experience myself.
That all being said unless you are bringing some coupons be prepared to pay an arm and a leg for not a whole lot. I would say you only come here out of convenience, never value.

Omelets were disappointing. Who doesn’t put vegetables in an omelet? Drive by and just decided to try this place and I’m sorry, but I wish I had gone to ihop. I don’t like how u have to go up to order, just gives a fast food vibe, that’s not how a good diner functions in my mind.

Was not impressed, I had lunch there around12:30 on Tuesday ²⁄₁₆. A party of 4 people. I ordered a dinner size portion of fish. It was good. I ordered 1 bacon boy burger combo, that was also good. I ordered a hamburger combo…
The burger was cold. Fries were good. I spent $ 32 on food which I thought would be a good deal for a good meal.
Boy was I disappointed. I won’t be back!
Note to the cook– cook food as it is ordered, nobody likes cold food.

On the way to Julian we stopped for a quick bite at Farmers boys. I had the BLT, my wife had the fish and chips, and my grand daughter had the grilled cheese. My BLT was good as was the grilled cheese.
When we opened the fish and chips we smelled strong fish smell which we didn’t consider wrong. Shame we should have. My wife got food poisoning. She had vomiting, diarrhea, fever all night long. It happened within an hour of her eating on the road.
This happened on December 20^th at 5:00pm.

Where do start?
Overall a horrible experience. It seemed like my order had been sitting there for quiet sometime. Can you explain to me how sourdough bread can get soggy so quickly, it seemed like it was sitting there for a good thirty minutes. My fries were cold I couldn’t even eat them. I feel like I could have just received this meal off a dollar menu instead of what I paid for it. Also my cashier Lindsey was really rude. All I can say the only thing good about my meal were my the cinnabites but besides this I will not be returning. Farmers Boys really needs to improve since this is not what Farmer Boys is know for.

Love the food, it’s always fresh! The manager Juno (I believe his name) is an unbelievable manager! There should be more managers like himself! Super courteous and has awesome customer service! He has wonderful problem solving skills and really cares about his customers!

En route to San Diego we needed a quick bite to eat. We were going to dine at El Pollo Loco; however, I decided we should give Farmer Boys a shot as I had never been here prior.
It was a nice clean comfortable setup for a fast food joint. The line to place our order was a tad slow; however, I was in no rush Saturday. I was in the mood for a Southwestern Chicken Salad. The salad was large and delivered to me in a really nice durable plastic serving bowl ergonomically angled for easy dining. Yes, someone did their homework on serving bowls!
The salad could have been better. The chicken was not as good as I get at El Pollo Loco. The dressing was nothing special. It was okay and did the trick hence the 3 stars.
Would I eat here again? No reason to when there is a better option for the same money a couple of hundred feet away. The other thing that was a tad strange was the fact that it was a one person men’s room. The women’s room was multi stall (yeah, I asked!) but the men’s room was for 1? Not common for a fast food joint.

Stopped here for lunch on our way out of town. The fries were delicious, but the burger was just okay. I decided to go with the Farmer Burger and it looked delicious, but was just a bit too salty and greasy for me. Plus, I didn’t realize it came with two patties, which I’m not a big fan of… I’ll be sure to try something different next time I’m in town.

This and every Farmer Boys I’ve been to so far has friendly service, good food and military discount. I continue to eat there and encourage others to do so!

This my second time I have eaten at a Farmer Boys, and I am still trying to put my finger on them. I do like that their various location around California are sporting check in offers of different types for Unilocal Users. I ordered the ¹⁄₃ Natural Burger with the works, an ice tea, and for my check in, I received an order of huge Zucchini sticks.
The natural burger was quite good and I appreciated that it is made from USDA antibiotic and hormone free never frozen beef, and it was very noticeable in the beef’s flavor and texture. They seared it very well where the beef developed a nice crust but retained a moist and juicy center. The American Cheese was well melted, the 1000 Island dressing tangy with a little sweet, and the pickles sour and crisp. The bun was quite good and had that fresh bakery appeal. It was moist and held up well to the good size burger. I would order this burger again, and I have.
I appreciated the zucchini sticks but I think they need to rethink them. The are quite large, bordering on obnoxious, and the issue was, given their size, they were unevenly cooked. The breading was very light and not noticeable at all via its texture and flavor. In in the end, I think smaller size sticks, with more per order would be better, to get that even fry inside, and perhaps a little more breading with more flavor.
Service was very good, in fact the manager was very cool, and helpful, and took the time to chat with me regarding the eatery. Nice natural burger, but I hope they work on those zucchini sticks.

Don’t expect a healthy meal here. They pretty much just serve comfort food with a smile. The service here is wonderful. All employees are happy and helpful, but the food was just ok for me. We had a larger group so we got a pretty good number of dishes and there really wasn’t anything special about our meals. I had the french toast and even that didn’t taste super fresh.
The restaurant is conveniently located in a large shopping area so there’s plenty of parking. Overall, it’s ok.
