S S Burger Basket

Ss burger basket has the worst customer service in lake Elsinore. The girls at the window are always rude especially around 9 – 10 pm Right before they close. Also make sure you double check your order, they have horrible order takers through the drive through. The only thing i would recommend eating there are the burgers and the fries if that. The ranch dressing is probably the best thing they sell honestly. The Mexican food on the menu really doesn’t do justice, the carne asada never taste fresh, it feels like it’s been sitting under a hot lamp. I wouldn’t really recommend this place to any one.

Grabbed a burger on our way out of town. The service was pretty good but they really need to fix the drive thru audio system. I lost count of how many times we had to repeat our order. Luckily, our order was correct when we received it and it was piping hot. The fries were delicious… soft on the inside and crisp on the outside; although, they could’ve used some salt. The burger was just what you’d expect from a burger stand. Greasy and yummy!

Paid over $ 10 for a meal and they wouldn’t even give me a single serving of ranch dip. I’m told we are required to spend at least $ 20 in order to get a free ranch dip. Any other place with comparable food would have provided at least a single ranch dip. Instead I had to pay an additional 75 cents for one. Which was kind of nuts since I’d just bought the same meal last week and they included one free of charge.
We’ve been customers for years… but between the declining food quality and quantity, the increasing wait in drive thru and the lack of interest in either customer service or providing a reasonable guideline for ranch dip… I’ll go elsewhere for a bit. I’m really burned that they value their ranch dip more than they do their customers.

Burgers are great here ! Food is consistently good ! They are on the little pricey side but we don’t have much of a selection in the area for a good burger. Burgers are better then toms and the other places near by off central. If your looking for a good place for a burger, look no further

Burgers are huge and yummy.
Love the bacon avacado cheese burger… I can split it with 2 other people. Would like if they didnt use shreaded lettuce :(
Drinks are big and fries are yummmmy! It is a good semi fast food drive thru place.
On a side note I have been inside this place a few times and notices rude customers. .then I read reviews about rude staff. I say be nice and staff will be nice too :) It’s a burger place people!

Went to ss burger basket for a quick lunch last week on a friday. Service was OK and the price actually wasn’t too bad. I paid $ 6.99 for a double cheeaeburger. The food came within 15 mins. Everything was OK so far until the food arrived. The parties were thin with very little flavor, lots of lettuce to make it appear much beefier than it really was. The bun tasted as though it had been frozen thawed and refrozen which didn’t add to the already tasteless patties. They cooked it close to what I ordered (med rare) and the fries tasted decent. Overall was not very impressed with the food even for the price. I would prefer to pay an extra buck or two for a real hamburger with ½ # patties and bread that tastes like, well bread. Was disappointed cause a friend recommended the place to me. I will be looking for a new burger place in Elsinore since I am fairly new to the area. I hear there is a new place opening up across the street where a longboards grill place was. I will definitely itely try them if they have sandwiches and burgers. We shall see how they rate.

My boss ordered a burger and a side of fries — he was satisfied; not amazing but also not horrible.
I ordered a chicken salad. I definitely wouldn’t recommend. The lettuce was watered down and they used shredded chicken and cheese — probably the ones they use in their chicken burritos. Bleh… If I knew that, I would’ve just gotten their chicken burrito…

Ehhh. I’ll go to Chili’s or The Habit Burger for a better meal or deal.

Burgers are good, hot dogs are grilled and the chilli fries are awesome. Breakfast is good too. Usually take food to go, but the dining room was clean on the two occasions I ate in.

Their food is fantastic. Never disappoints & portions are huge. The only thing that sucks is the wait time for food. But if you want it fresh I guess you just gotta wait

The food is good, but unless you want to pay extra for condiments dont bother. Of course they offer Ketchup, but if you want rand be prepared to pay. They charge 81 cents for 1 small cup. When asked about this they say they make their own and everyone else uses bottled. This is not true. They only give out ranch with onion rings, or zuccini, or if your over the age of 50 apparently.
Piece of advice go to farmer boys their food is the same menu and the same price, better quality, the staff is nicer, and they give you the condiments. So Done with SS will not go back unless they change their double standards.

I would say that this burger joint is the definition of «average». The service, however, is hit or miss. But it seems like they recently replaced the more «rude» employees with new ones. The speed of service has gotten slower because of this, but it’s not that bad and it should be improving soon. You get a pretty decent amount of food for the price you pay. The fries are pretty decent when they are fried for long enough. Sometimes they seem to rush the fries and it sucks when they do. The burger itself is of a decent quality but nothing to rave about necessarily. I do not recommend the pastrami burger… whenever I order that it’s too well-​done. They also serve burritos and assorted Mexican food. I’ve only tried the bean & cheese burrito one time and it was pretty good. However, if you’re after a more «fake» but «cheap and addictive style» burrito, then I recommend Del Taco next door ;P

This was my first time having this place and it was delicious! Although it’s located in a secluded part of Lake Elsinore. The people at the counter were polite. Also, the pricing is reasonable! I will bring my business here again.

Decided to get burgers while we were in town and decided to try this place out. The burgers and service were really great! The waiter kept apologizing for the wait but there was really no wait. For a place like this id definitely give 5 stars, especially for their price and quality.

My Second time coming because I live in Corona.
I love it here. The waitress/​cashier lady is super friendly and fast. I heard her do a phone order and her phone etiquette was great. I wish I had money to tip her personally. The place is clean and the Cooks are very clean and nice.
I always order the Steak Sandwich (medium) here with zucchini and ranch just beyond superbzzz!!!
I wish you guys are in corona!!!
The only thing is please please please get fried mushrooms on that menu!!!

I clearly asked the worker what sauce comes on the cheeseburger. She said thousand island. When I got home that thing was drenched with mayonnaise. My buns were soaked. This place is poochie.

Went to get a breakfast and I got great service and a great chili cheese omelette the only reason not a five star was hash brown was good just a little burnt on the edges.

Originally I gave it 3 stars because the food was just ok and we only come here out of convinience, since we live close. Now I have to downgrade them to one star because the drive thru always takes forever. The drive thru shouldn’t take so long. I timed it this last time and it was probably the fastest time yet, but it still was a long wait

Growing up in Lake Elsinore I went to S.S. Burger Basket from the early 90’s through about the mid 2000’s. While passing through I decided to stop and get one of their breakfast Burritos that I remember being so big and delicious. When I got my burrito, it was half the size I remember it being and very little cheese and bacon. That along with the mediocre service was a disappointment. 2 small breakfast Burritos for my daughter & I and a medium soda for $ 15? Don’t think I’ll be back. Might be ok for the new Comer but not for me.

I have been coming here for not to long but they make a decent burger with the exception of middle age Mexican girls who have an attitude for throwing away there life and stuck working in a burger joint, they give the worse attitudes and they need to get rid of them worthless girls

The only burger place in town near the Lake who serves Orange Julius Bang drink! Yum. As far as food, I ordered a turkey burger with cheese and fries. The burger was delicious and moist, the dressing on it was amazing with grilled green peppers.
If you’re in the area you have stop by. Its located in the shopping center on Riverside and lakeshore by Albertsons Grocery store and Del Taco.
