We drove aimlessly at 10pm on a Monday night and found this hidden treasure. The panini café has amazing sandwiches, incredible gelato and the most helpful and friendly family of employees. Adam was really helpful and gave us gelato samples and let us try the baklava. We’ll definitely be coming back with friends! Long live blue fig.

The best hookah lounge in orange county. I’ve been to a lot in orange county and this is by far the best one I’ve been to. Good service, good hookah, and good food. You can’t go wrong coming here

I love this place! I literally started coming a few weeks ago and it’s so chill and has really good vibes. Special shout out to Adam & Tala. They’re so willing to help and are very knowledgeable on the hookah. I really appreciate good customer service and BluFig is 5 out of 5 without a doubt. The food is bomb, hookah… bomb & customer service… BOMB.

I enjoyed my time here, came to watch one of the nba finals games let them know I was from out of town and they treated me just like family! Loved the music and hookah, the tea was great as well. Also great scenery when seated inside!

I’ve been a few times now and hands down this place is my go to hookah joint in Orange County. The service has always been phenomenal here. The staff and owners are equally attentive and personable with their customers. Arya is great! He is funny and attentive. He’s great at conversing with the customers but also being attentive to other customers at the same time.
What makes this place stand out compared to other hookah bars in Orange County is their quality and non-​hookah bar feel. They not only serve hookah, but also Mediterranean/​Italian food, gelato, coffee, and tea. Their iced green tea is so good! One of the owners recommended and my friend and I have been hooked since. My other friend once ordered a cappuccino and she said it was okay. They can work on a better brand coffee.
The music here is excellent. They also switch it up; they play hip hop, Arabic, Persian. Everything.
I highly recommend this place. You’re guaranteed to have a great time and get high quality products and service.

I came here expecting the best hence the name. Customer service was quite pleasant in the beginning. I ordered the Green Lavender Tea, and it was delicious! By the time I received it, however. The employee who helped me forgot to make my tea as long as another’s guests drink. They were bringing out others drinks and food, and the place wasn’t at all busy. Thirty minutes pass when we decide to ask about our drinks. The employee forgot, apologized, and brought us our drinks.

Best hookah lounge in Orange County, the staff are very nice and the food is delicious. The hookah is always prepared correctly and the place is very comfortable to sit around and chill place to hangout at.

My first time at a hookah lounge and I loved it here at BluFig! My friends come here often, so we stopped by to study for finals and the staff are VERY friendly and imformative. They have a huge variety of flavors (i got the house flavor), food, & drinks. If you’re into hookah this is definitely the place!
P. s. what really got me was the music selection here… I loveed the chill music

Reading all the 5-​star reviews has me thinking that my boyfriend and I came on a night when they were struggling to keep up with the demand. There was one guy running around taking care of everyone.
We ordered the Razzberry hookah with an ice tip. It took the waiter about 15 minutes to get our order, and then when we got the hookah, we had no coals and no ice tip. Took us almost another 20 minutes to get his attention again. He apologized profusely and said they were making new coals in the back.
I ordered a water and I had to ask two or three times before he came around. I really wanted to like this place. The music isn’t too loud, they have a nice little menu, and it’s clean.
Service, however, was severely lacking. I don’t know if I will come back here.
My usual place has live DJ’s every weekend, the couches are more comfortable, there are coal changes every 20 – 25 minutes, we don’t have to ask people 2 or 3 times before they remember that we’re sitting in the biggest booth with a hookah that has no coals.

Blu Fig is the best hookah café in Orange County. The food is absolutely delicious, the hookah is always prepared perfectly, and the place is very comfortable. But most importantly, the customer service is spot on. They treat everyone with respect and love. They always make sure you are happy, you’ve got fresh coal, and they make you feel like family. I like closer to Anaheim, where there are many options for hookah. But I drive out of my way, an extra 30 minutes, just to go to this place. Must try for all OC people looking for a cool spot to chill!

Did you ever smoke hookah and then said, «Aww man, I wish I had a panini, and actually some gelato would be so bomb right now…» Well well! Look no further folks, Blu Fig has all those things!
This place is classy, modern, and chill all in one. It isn’t bougie like some hookah places where it looks nice but just uncomfortable to sit in or relax – yet it is not dingy and sketchy like some «kick back» hookah bars out there. Um plus they have their own BluFig café next door with delicious gelato, paninis and drinks! I am kicking myself for not finding this place sooner because I would have definitely come here often! Since being pregnant and having my son a little over 2 years ago, I have not smoked hookah and even ended up selling my hookah. Today, my cousin came after work to hang out with me since my son was with my parents. So glad we found this place on Unilocal.I couldn’t wait to write a review haha.
I am so impressed by the service here– I honestly mean it that it has been one of the best customer service I have received at any place. My cousin and I met one of the sweetest girl named Tala. She was just exceptional and went above and beyond, high and low, to make sure we had the best experience ever. And so did the rest of the staff like Arya and others. Everyone is so genuinely nice and respectful, we felt like family. You could tell the other customers were treated the same way.
The hookah is so smooth and it lasted a long time. They came around to change our coals atleast 3 times when we were there. We ordered the Fig House Special which was a cool berries + peach flavor. They have happy hour M-​F 5 – 8 p.m. and Sat-​Sun 12 – 5 p.m. It just so happened that we came on one of the best deals day (Wed). For $ 20 you get: 1 premium hookah flavor + free apple head for the hookah + 1 gelato + 1 panini! Say whaaa? That’s freaking amazing!
Ok so their gelato is also amazing! The gelato and paninis are made on the other side of BluFig which is separate from the hookah side. It’s good if you have kids and don’t want to bring them to the hookah side. They have different flavors, usually 6 but I guess some of them alternates day to day. We sampled all 6 of them and my favs were Pistachio (tastes like real Pistachios and has some in it), Double Chocolate (rich dark chocolate), and Espresso (has some coffee beans on top and they pour some coffee on top if you like). They’ll bring over your gelato and panini over to the hookah side if you’d like. The gelato takes away your light headedness lol. It was so relaxing smoking and eating gelato at the same time. I was already stuffed and the gelato just pushed me over the edge so we ordered the panini to go. It looked yummy. They were big! I didn’t have a chance to try it because I made my cousin take it home since I was full but next time I will! They also have drinks such as teas, coffees, soft drinks etc.
The music is great here – mostly 90’s rock, rap, pop, and it took us back to reminiscing those good old days. We kept singing along (mostly me lol), and had a great time. They have big sofas and a decent amount of space. The walls and décor is urban/​modern yet classy. It doesn’t feel old or dark in there, plus at night they turn on these cute little lights so it looks nice. They have free Wi-​Fi so don’t forget to ask! I am moving to Texas next month but I will definitely stop by here as much as I can while before I leave. My parents live in Lake Forest so I will make an effort to stop by a couple more times! Finally a 5 star place that actually is 5 stars! I would give 10 stars if I could, especially for the excellent hospitality.

Came on a whim after work one day because we were reminiscing about hookahing in the past. It’s in a small complex with a handful of businesses. There are two sides: the restaurant/​café and hookah side. From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out, everything was spectacular! Environment, food, experience, dessert and service!
We happened to come during HH (see pics for time and menu) and it cost us $ 20 for the hookah with a apple head, a large panini AND gelato!!!
We got the Fig house mix for the seesh w/​an apple head as the bowl the seesh sits in, chix Caesar panini and got to sample all the gelato but my favs were PISTACHIO! Double choc and the espresso one! They were playing 90s music and it totally took us back to out middle/​high school days!
Everyone was soooo nice but one person stuck out and her name is Tala. Oh Miss. Tala,

This hooka bar has nice vibe and to compare of other hooka bar in orange county, it is more classy and the actual hooka its good too but like most of the other hooka bars the charcoal service for the hooka was slow and the actual food service was not good for example we order food and one person brought the food with out napkins, after 2 3 minutes another person brought the soda and run way :)) and we wait to catch one of them and ask for ketchup and when I finally ask him for ketchup, he somehow looked at me that he never see the ketchup in his life :)))
I wanted to give them one or two star but this place has very nice owner that at the end when i gave my feedback to him, he apologize me and explain for me they are short for the employee and now i give them 3 stars :) just because of his nice attitude

I met a group of friends here after having dinner with my family. It was around ten when I got here and the place was just starting to get crowded. Finally, a cool late night hangout spot in the OC. It’s a really cool place. The first thing I noticed is that it smelled amazing. It was a bit smokey inside, but it smelled great. Just a mix of fruity smells. I loved the artwork on the wall and the music was awesome. There was a nice mix of pop and electronic music playing here that I really enjoyed. It was loud and happening.
Not long after I joined my group of friends our server showed up and got my order. I got an iced tea and a small double chocolate gelato. A couple minutes after he left he reappeared and gave me my tea and gelato. Super fast service. The gelato was delicious, super chocolatey, it was chocolate gelato with lots of little crushed chocolate chips mixed in. The tea was okay, it had kinda an off taste to it, not really my thing, but I drank it all of it since I was really thirsty.
I didn’t smoke any hookah, it’s not really my thing, it’s more of my friends thing. It’s the only hookah bar I’ve been to and the best since they have some pretty awesome gelato, a really cool atmosphere and super fast service.

Best Chai Tea latte I have ever had. And trust me, I’ve been to many coffee shops, tea-​time-​gatherings and such. The reason for the 4 star rating? Completely out of sandwiches and anything else to munch on :(because they were busy the day before, aww bummer! The lady behind the counter was very nice about it and I do promise I’ll be back. I’m sure you will make up for it!

What a cool Unilocal-find…I’m not a smoker but was in the mood for hookah. It had been almost a decade since I had experienced a hookah bar. The spot is located right off the 241 Lake Forest Blvd. The vibe and ambiance is really hip, relaxing & cool. They play pop music. The service is top-​notch, professional and friendly. They’ll help you get set up if you’ve never had hookah — all kind of flavors… We went for their «mango-​guava» which is pretty popular amongst patrons — in fact a customer made this one up! Their menu consists of tea, coffee, and you can even order gelato and desserts from the spot next door. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in the mood for hookah. They also have «happy hour» specials.

This place is amazing! Great food, great vibe… I’m so glad i found it! It opens late and our server Zena was really friendly. She also put in extra toppings of bananas, strawberries and whipped cream to go with our gelato. Yummm!

My friend and I searched for a gelato place after dinner at the Towne Center. We stumbled upon this place down the street. The plaza is quiet and most of the stores were closed, but we decided to give it a try.
I was pleasantly surprised. We had excellent service. To make it even better, the gelato was top notch! It is richer than most places. There are only a few selection of flavors, which makes it not overwhelming — all delicious. I also tried their baklava — yum!
Prices are market standard, but you get generous portions — at least for gelato!
The overall atmosphere is hip and relaxing. Good place to hang out with a few friends on a late night!
