We used to go for wings to Wingnuts in Aliso Viejo and always thought the wings good, meaty & tasty. I guess their cooking style is what I had come to expect. I ordered some boneless wings from Wingstop for Super Bowl Sunday. They tasted like a very small piece of chicken had been dipped like 17 times in batter and fried… they were dry, seemed meatless, and tasteless. I threw out about 75% of what I had purchased & will not be back. If this is a chain that makes wings, than they should produce a much higher quality product!!!

quick, delicious, teriaki was very tasty as was the BBQ. Ranch dip was a little watery, but overall yummy. the price was the only down side for me, but you get what you pay for.

The wings here are okay, but it always smells like sewer inside the restaurant and my order takes forever to make.

I love Wing Stop and was super excited when my boyfriend reminded me that there is a Lake Forest location. I’ll keep this short… We waited over 45 minutes on a very slow Monday night for our order. I had to go up to the counter to ask, why the long wait. Ask we are our wings we realized that the long wait left us with over cooked/over fried wings and fries. It was literally horribly disgusting. We both love wings and we’re both so disappointed. Not coming back to this location… We need one down in Mission Viejo! :-)

So this place is kind of a rip. They charge you for dipping sauces, which, last time I checked, is almost necessary for eating wings. The wings are good, tho they are very small. We ask for them xtra crispy and drummettes only. It costs more but makes them more enjoyable. Overall, not the greatest place for wings considering wings are their thing. If you want to know a good place, check out wingnuts in costa mesa. That place is bomb.(And they don’t charge extra!)

This place actually deserves 3.5 stars I think but I’m not allowed to give that so it’s a 3. I’ve come here a few times but have only ordered to go. So this rating is based on just the food and not the service or the ambiance. They offer bone-in or boneless wings. I personally prefer bone-in because boneless wings make me just feel like I’m eating chicken nuggets. They have many different flavors, with each varying(or increasing) in spiciness. I’ve tried several different flavors and they are each pretty distinct and tasty. The wings are on the expensive side but if you order on certain days, they have specials. I wouldn’t come here with friends or to dine in but I’m fine with ordering food to go from here.

We tried this place for first time. Asked for their super spicy sauce which wasn’t that spicy. The food is made with food coloring sauces. Everything was previously frozen. Extremely overrated place. The prices were sky high. Won’t be going back.

The wings at this place are amazing and I usually eat here a few times per month. Angie is nice and helpful… And she even remembers how I like my order.(I always remind them to place the fries in a box so that they don’t get cold by the time you get home) next time you are craving some wings… Check out wingstop!

I eat here as often as once a week, not kidding. The last two visits may have changed my mind about this location forever. And today was strike 2. Last time there was a piece of hair inside my chicken. I’m not sure how it got there, but it was a short curly hair.(I have neither short or curly hair.) Gross. I thought I’d let it go since I like their wings so much. And just today, I placed an order online for pickup. It had specific instructions and the receipt to prove what I wanted. Went to pick it up, and came home to find it was carelessly made. I specifically wanted all flats and most of the wings were drums. On top of that, requested for extra seasoning on the fries. The fries were hardly seasoned at all. Disappointed at this location and I’m not sure I’ll be coming back. Lastly, service here has been alright.

This review is after my 2nd visit to this location in lake forest. I’ve only been to one other location… once. This one is waaaaay better than the other location based on the 2 visits I have had. First visit was sit down, 2nd visit was take out. Both were great! Environment: is great for kids and adults. But it’s a small location with only a few tables on the inside and both visits were later in the night, so seating wasn’t an issue. BESTPART: they are open till MIDNIGHT! this makes a great, late night alternative to the typical late night in-n-out and Del taco drive thru. Also it’s a great alternative to Buffalo Wild Wings if you don’t to deal with a full restaurant ambiance. I am definitely a fan of wings, and lots of options of flavors. Food: both visits were consistent… at least the flavors I tried. Surprisingly, this place tasted better than the other location, so chefs do matter in this case. I liked the lemon/pepper and bbq. Got veggie sticks with ranch, and the garlic fries are great… especially the crispier ones. Price: it’s very well priced, and it makes more sense to get more food for the best bargains. So visit with friends or family, or buy some extra for later. It was nice to have a coupon as well. I didn’t buy a drink or any desserts(if any) to go with It’s definitely worth going to! I want to go back and try other flavors next time… Joel Valdellon eats at wing stop in lake forest … #wings #food #lakeforest #wingstop #oc #socal #california #orangecounty #vegetarian #chicken #joel #joelvaldellon #valdellon #joel.valdellon #comment #review #likes #photo #lunch #dinner #spicy #yelp #hungry

I wasn’t going to write a review for Wingstop because they are a chain. But today’s experience changed my mind. I’m not 100% of her name, but my receipt says«KAYLIN». She had a long braided ponytail and I think slightly gauged ears. Anyway, I put in my order online and arrived a few minutes before it was supposed to be ready. Kaylin rung me up and said it would be a short wait. During my wait, I watched 5 other orders being picked up and a few dine in patrons order. She noticed I was still waiting and said«Michael? Gimme a second to check on your order». To some this may seem normal, but I was amazed that she remembered my name after all those customers, and that she took the initiative to follow up without me asking. This is something you hardly see these days in places like this. She brought out the order and handed it to me with BOTH hands(instead of one or just simple sliding it over on the counter). People like this is what keeps customers coming back. As for the food. I have always loved Wingstop… I like that I can order just the flat part of the wings, I love that you can order online or on their app. Their seasoning is always great and the wings are perfectly fried and it normally take 11 – 15 minute for them to be ready. I usually get them extra crispy. This time I got their spicy Korean flavor. It was good, but I’m not sure if they have ever had Korean fried chicken before because this is not it. If there’s anything I wish they would improve on it how they package their wings, I always find the wings on the bottom soaking in the oil dripping that’s like 1/8″ thick.

I come here for lunch pretty often. My go to order is the six lemon pepper wing combo. All flats. It comes with fries, ranch, and a drink. Order online before you come. The standard wait is 16 minutes. That’s sixteen minutes you can have been eating. Parking can be harder to find during lunch but the parking lot is pretty big. You’ll just have to walk a little, which will be good since you’re about to eat some heavy food.

This place has wings. What do you expect? The boneless wings are gross, the regular wings are very good. The teriyaki wings were way too sweet, must be loaded with sugar. French fries are hand cut and made from scratch. Unfortunately, they were soggy and pretty greasy. The cook needs to double-fry the potatoes, drain the grease thoroughly and then put the fries on a towel.(see In and Out method). The staff were very friendly and helpful, food came out in a timely fashion. My all-in-one lunch came out to $ 10.00, not cheap but not too pricey either. I would go back, but carefully choose what food to eat.

We’ve come to this wingstop many times, and have always had a good experience until today. The female wait staff was extremely rude from the time that we called our order in, until we finished eating. A younger short female named Angie or Norma was rude on the phone when we ordered, she rolled her eyes at us when we asked for a little extra seasoning for the fries, and aggressively snatched the fries off the table. She also walked by us Multiple times and gave me mean looks. The food was, and always has been phenomenal, but the bad service is unacceptable. Alberto was very nice and polite. Take a note from San Clemente’s wing stop and be more polite to paying customers.

There are a bunch of wingstops in my area but I keep coming back to this one. Why? Simple. The people that work here are amazing. They are very friendly and welcoming. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted with a friendly welcome and when you order, they always repeat the order back to you, which is always a good way to avoid miscommunication and wrong orders. As for the wings — don’t get boneless. It tastes like the frozen boneless chicken wings from Tyson that my brother always buys from Ralphs. The breeding was kind of overwhelming too. Stick with the normal wings and you’ll be happy :).

In the past couple of years I’ve given this place a handful of visits for office lunches. My initial review was rather poor mostly because of service and management issues. I think it’s important to point out that the food has always been decent. Now that I’ve had an opportunity to re-visit a few times I’m updating my review in my typical format. GOOD1: The Food. The wings are great here. They’re cooked right and the sauces are all very tasty. I prefer the boneless ones but I’ve had them both ways. The fries are thick cut and seasoned gently with a very tasty flavoring salt. GOOD2: The drink machine. They have the«freestyle» coke machine like you see at some big movie theaters with touch screens and 100’s of flavor combinations. You can pick from any base drink such as Dr Pepper and then select any number of flavors such as cherry, orange, vanilla, etc… it’s very very cool. GOOD3: It’s fast. They’ll tell you on the phone that it’ll be ready for pick up in 7 minutes and sure enough it always is. In fact I’ve ordered while 2 lights away while driving there and it’s already bagged and ready when I walk in. I’m the kind of guy always doing an hour worth of stuff in 20 minutes so fast works for me. BAD1: Extra charges for sauces. I understand that things like blue cheese dressing isn’t cheap or free, but if you’re ordering $ 20 worth of wings and want a single extra 2oz sauce they’ll charge you for it every time. I believe in charging when needed, like if I were to ask for 4 or 5 of them… but when you get to pinching every single penny… that’s a bit much. SOSO1: The staff is hit and miss. Today for example the lady at the counter was a little older and extremely nice and welcoming. My last trip the girl seemed very preoccupied distant then forgot my extra sauces at first. Since it’s counter service I’m not looking for anything amazing from the cashier but friendly is expected. Overall it’s a great place for wings with some fantastic drink options. The best part is that they’re very consistent and you get the same good wings every time. Enjoy.

I know that Superbowl Sunday is their busiest day of the year and naturally they would be backed up, BUT I have to say they do not have their operations figured out for a day that they clearly anticipate on. However, they were friendly. Their wings are good. And methinks I would be back. So 4 stars for their great food and quick remedy to get my order out as quickly as possible.
