Food in Lake George is below par. Especially on Canada Street. You end up shoveling out big bucks for fast food quality meals… That said, this restaurant was not like the others. We were seated promptly, the service was good and the pizza was delicious. We tried their fried calamari which was decent. Will eat here again if I return to Lake George.

We stopped in Lake George to visit my daughter who was camping. We stopped at Giuseppe’s because I had gone there previously and enjoyed their pizza. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch and it did not disappoint. First of all the crust was perfect. Not to thin, but crispy on the bottom and just chewy enough on top. Pie had plenty of chicken and bacon and had a nice drizzle of ranch plus plenty of cheese. My daughter had a chicken salad and she enjoyed it. Lots of chicken and very good value. Oh and the beer was ICE cold. Would definitely go back again.

Good Family Restaurant. We went here for lunch, sat on the porch and ordered a pizza. Pizza was decent, New York Style, not to sloppy, with a nice crust. We were seated quickly, had good service and good food. Great place for families as there were several there!

Much has changed since I reviewed this place back in 2010. From my understanding, Giuseppe’s now has new owners and their second building is no longer there. It seems they sold the property to be used for the new Marriott hotel that’s going up next door. Food, this time around, was not great. Spaghetti pasta and sauce were good, but the meat balls were gray in color and not very appetizing at all. Boneless chicken wings seemed like they were just dressed up chicken nuggets. I wouldn’t say Giuseppe’s is completely off the table. They did have a decent crowd when we went during the Americade weekend. Other tables had ordered cheeseburgers and pizzas that looked very good. So maybe I’ll just stick to those during my next visit.
