Came here with a friend to Lake George for vacation. We visited this place because of the ratings. My friend ordered the burger and the tomato was rotten and staff didn’t bother in giving a discount and made him pay full price even though he refused to get another burger. As for me it was alright but the enviorment is uncomfortable it gave me a full blown panic attack.

I want to be fair… one problem we had is that my husband wants a Bud or something domestic and they only carried craft beers so after consulting with the bartender he settled on a pint of something that he didn’t care for… the food was really ok at best… one grilled chicken sandwich, one bacon cheddar burger(ordered it medium… was totally overdone) and an order of ribs that were more grizzle than meat and I would describe the bbq sauce as having a sulphur taste… my husband thought more cinnamon, either way… not good… fries were awesome and hot… They had a rainforest thing going on with a piano and strobe lights and animal noises and country music… our server was pleasant, attentive and friendly.

If you are in the beautiful town of lake George you must visit Moose Tooth Grill. The service was wonderful and the food was finely prepared. The only negative about this restaurant, was one of their video graphics in which mimics the sound of a thunderstorm and that came as very startling. This made it very difficult to order. However, don’t get me wrong this is definitely a four star restaurant.

Reasonably priced excellent food and service by far one of the better places on the lake George strip. Also very cool theme.

We ate at this restaurant last week during Americade. Outstanding service. Thank you Dillon. Great job! The food was very good and the beer selection was great. The blooming onion was one of the best we have had. We will go back next year.

Nice place. Good burgers. Tried the JD. Also local brewed ‘Bear Naked’ draft beer was good.

Save your money and just order a beer. Skip the food. I gave them two stars because the person who seated us had a broken foot and that should count for something.

The root beer was tasty but sweet! The food not so good! The wifi is only for credit card charges but they have two. Idk. The staff was nice! We liked the décor! And sound. Rainforest. Only will be back for the root beer and dessert!

I enjoyed my experience here. Service was fantastic… kind and attentive waitstaff, and the food came out way after then expected. I did not really care for the ambiance and decorating. We really just came here because we did not know where else to go. I can see why it would be a nice place to take your kids! Food was pretty good! Buffalo Chicken dip was GREAT, way better then when I try to make it! Burgers were all good. We LOVED the root beer in the tall glasses! Would come back.

I’d go here again but more for the atmosphere, not the food. It’s very cute inside, looks like you’re in the wilderness. The restaurant«rains» like a rainforest Café does and there are animals that move and make noises. My daughter enjoyed looking around at everything and was entertained while we were there. They also give kids moose hats and lots of crayons and a large menu to color. The food was okay but nothing to write home about. We had wings, which were good but not crispy, which is how I like them. I had the crab cakes which were good but definitely not homemade. My husband had their special of pulled pork nachos and enjoyed them. He also enjoyed their craft beer selection. I enjoyed my Moose Wizz, which is their brewed root beer. My daughter wanted the kids’ pizza(not the best choice in a place like this) and the sauce was spicy. We sent it back and got her chicken fingers instead which were much better. For dessert we had the s’mores to share. Fun idea — -they give you a little«fire» and sticks to roast the marshmallows at the table. I’d go back but stick to the burgers and apps.

Okay so Service 5⁄5 Ambience 5⁄5 Food 3⁄5 Beer 5⁄5 Waiter was awesome. Catered to our every need. Explained everything and was the best server i have had in a while. Only downside was the food. I got the southwest Alfredo. Review. Bland. Tasteless. Avoid the pasta and this place is a 5⁄5

1 star because theres no ‘no star option’ Expectatuins were high when we saw the reviews. Our hopes shattered when we dined. My friends hamburger made him nauseous and my cheeseburger had a nasty mold on it. I sent my food back and by the time it came back, I felt unfit to eat it. I will NEVER be coming back here when I vacation to lake George in the summer.

Fast service, fun ambiance, reasonable prices. We came here for an early dinner with a large group, including children. Very good choice. Menu is mostly burgers at around $ 10. The food is about what you’d expect for an American burger-centric place(ie, not gourmet, but not bad), the place is very kid-friendly, the servers were top-notch. Several in our party had the Captain’s Cure(alcoholic drink), which is Captain Morgan rum in root beer, and they loved it. The décor is casual, clearly«inspired» by the Rainforest Café, lots of fake trees, occasional«lightning and thunder» effects, and a player piano that plays at random intervals. Very good beer and wine selection, but limited bar.

This place is not great. Chicken tenders were of the frozen reheated variety. Buffalo chicken dip was good but obviously nothing is freshly made. And the baked mac and cheese was a nasty soupy mess. The beer selection is plentiful but most are average at best. It is an okay place in a pinch but nothing to rave about. Service was very good and Starbucks as the coffee option was much appreciated. Decently priced as well.

Great atmosphere! The food was amazing! I am not a big fan of root beer but their root beer was pretty good! Ate there twice during my vacation no regrets! Coffee wasn’t so great but other than that I highly recommend this place for a fun place to eat

Dined here 6÷16÷15… Fun theme & décor, friendly prompt service & the food was very good & plentiful(bottomless fries w/burgers). Really liked the craft root beer, too. Great place for a casual lunch or dinner.

Great atmosphere the restaurant has a mind of its own, nothing is normal about this place. Lake George is full of restaurants with horrible staff, food and atmosphere this place is the exception. Wait staff is very friendly and exceptional. The food is great here, cheese curds breaded with pretzels, buffalo quesadillas, and great burgers. S’mores inside awesome the best part of this place still would have to be the moose wiss root beer some of the best I’ve had If you are looking for good food and a fun place this is it. Beer with friends or dinner with the kids this Is the place.

We stopped by this place because we were tired of spending more than $ 40 per meal and we just wanted something filling and delicious at the same time. Yes, the atmosphere is more suitable for kids rather than adults but we didn’t mind it that much. We were seated pretty quickly and ordered drinks first. The moose wizz was so delicious and the best root beer hands down. The raspberry ice tea was a whole different story. was so bad after 1 sip I didn’t even touch it after that. It tastes like tap water and syrup. We ordered the Swissroom burger and the JD steakhouse burger both were very delicious but they use potato bread instead of regular buns. The fries were also absolutely delicious.
