Service and food are wonderful. Prices not so much. Probably will not return for a long wait to pay top dollar on a Mall franchise.

The service was terrible. They didn’t serve bread and we had to ask for it 3 times until they finally served it to us. In my opinion the quantity of the food doesn’t match its price. I believe paying about 30 $ for a very small filet was a bit too much.

The food was generally ok. The BangBang Shrimp was very good but my Salmon special was dry and obviously overcooked, Also at various Bonefish Grills in Florida and NJ I ordered my potatoes fried in Potato Chip fries style. Apparently this has been discontinued. Very disappointing. Not sure when I’ll try his location again.

Let’s start with the good: I really enjoyed the food here. We went for a weekday lunch, and I had the Bang Bang Shrimp PoBoy; he had the American Kobe Burger. The shrimp itself was crisp and tasty, served in an equally crisp roll along with cucumbers, jalapeño rings, tomatoes and lettuce. The burger was a thin, char-grilled patty, slightly pink on the inside, with onions, tomato, lettuce and melted cheese. Both entrees came with a generous serving of crunchy, seasoned fries and a little glass dish of ketchup for dipping. The staff was friendly and attentive. The seats were comfortable, the rest rooms clean. Décor was understated, if not my style. The downside: I loathe techno music. But at least there was no bass rattle that makes you feel like you’re about to drop your teeth, and the music was quiet enough so we could converse at a normal level. Oh. I also found a hair in my fries. Wasn’t mine.

Ordered the shrimp tacos with salad greens, also had lump crab cakes as an appetizer. Sorry, the food was so good I forget to take a food pic. Take my word for it your taste buds will sing!!!

Ever since dining at Bonefish Grill several years ago in Wilmington, NC– I’ve wanted to dine again. Them seeing them pop up in NY I finally made it a point to dine again. The dining room is very cool & contemporary. Great booths, bar & artwork set the vibe. Earth tone colors give it a very cozy feel. Large dining room with tables in the bar area & a party room off to the side. We were greeted by very friendly hostesses & seated right away. Sat at a large, high, bistro-like table. Our waiter comes by to take our order & the dinner began. I ordered the special Hawaiian Martini(amazing!) and a water along with some lemon. Received my martini– kudos to the bartender. Of course– NO water. I let a few moments go by to see if it was on its way, since it wasn’t on its way– I asked for water again. This time I received it. Again, NO lemon… I figured it’s a lost cause. While waiting for our entrees I see tables with a dish of some delicious looking bread & some sort of pesto– which my table NEVER received. Granted– I don’t need the bread but it’s the principle. App– Bang Bang Shrimp… A MUST!!! Entrée– Chilean Sea Bass was grilled/broiled nicely. Accompanied by a sauce of your liking. Grilled Lamb Chops– I have to say, for a Franchise type establishment they were delicious. They have a great choices for desserts!

The only good thing about this place was bang bang shrimp. Other than that, the steak we had was just bad so was the crab cake. The teriyaki chicken didn’t even have teriyaki flavor and the chicken was just grilled chicken. Cheesecake Factory right next to this spot, avoid this place if you are a food lover. You will be disappointed

Went for appetizers and drinks. Tuna was fresh and tasty. Enjoyed bread and oil dip. I’ll suggest using less salt. Service was very good. Staff constantly moving like busy bees. Restaurant was crowded however was seated immediately. Impressed with the chic NYC style décor. Beautiful bar. Will return to hang with friends.

This is a great, decently priced seafood restaurant on Long Island with plenty of options for all seafood fans. Calories are listed on the menu, and they have some of the best low calorie options around, so it’s great for those on a diet. They often have excellent specials — of particular note recently was the lobster-stuffed shrimp, which was a bargain at only $ 11.50 and as tasty as it sounds. The bang bang shrimp are a must; they’re great to split as an appetizer. The oysters are ok — nothing special, but solid. I particularly love the tuna steak, which is the most delicious low calorie menu option I’ve ever seen. If you get the tuna steak, definitely get it with the pan-Asian sauce. The other simply grilled options are very good as well. They have steak if you don’t want seafood, but you obviously come here for the fish. The service is exceptional, with managers coming by every-so-often to make sure you are having a good experience. There is complimentary bread with delicious oil and they’ll bring as much as you want(which is wonderful and terrible — don’t eat too much!). Unfortunately they no longer offer crab fried rice as a complimentary side(can you please bring that back Bonefish Grill?). The other sides are ok but that was by far the best.

Went here today for a late diner with the hubby and our 1 year old. They say us right away and were so sweet to my daughter. They gave us time to order drinks and our food. Our waitress was so sweet and was really accommodating. We had the pot stickers for an appetizer. They were really tasty, even our 1 year old loved them. My pomegranate martini was AMAZING. I could have had 5 of them. Then I had the pad Thai and my husband had the filet Minion with shrimp and truffled Mac and cheese. His was really tasty. That Mac and cheese is so rich but yum yum yum. My pad Thai was pretty good, I think the noodles might have been a little undercooked, they were a little tough. But next time I definitely want to try one of their burgers or fish tacos! We will be back!

Boy am I disappointed. I really thought this place would be good! I have never been here before and heard it was good about a year ago. Recently somebody said they have been slipping. I finally got to try it with my good friend on Sunday(brunch) Maybe I just caught the wrong chef but this guy OR the bonefish grill completely ran out of salt but yeah… not even a trace of salt on ANYTHING we ordered. Lets start with that. Ok, so we got Sangria(Literally the best sangria ever) That sangria tasted like raspberry and is the reason they get three stars not 2. The crab cakes were ok but almost uncooked in the middle, the chilean sea bass was uncooked in the middle and had zero flavor which means that somebody actually managed to kill the most delicate natural flavor with precision because I did not know that was possible to do. Oddly, they had spaghetti squash as the seasonal veggie side and with some salt and pepper it was good. I went home, roasted one myself and perfected it and now i love them so they get a thanks for that. We will be back for just sangria in the future but thats about it. Maybe I just caught an off day but first impressions are a killer

Got to get the bang bang shrimp. Crispy shrimp, in creamy sauce. So good, I get it every time. Ordered the fontina pork chop. Nice portion and flavor, not overlooked. Got the crab fried rice. Not worth the extra cost. Kinda dry, and you get these little glops of crab. Meh. Had the doughnuts for dessert. They are about the size of two munchkins each. Very good, light and not too sweet.

Long Island brunches don’t often impress me, so four stars is like five. I’ve been to the Rockville bonefish several times for dinner(I’m unhealthily addicted to those delicious little bang bang shrimp). I came here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch and was pleasantly surprised by a happy, smiley and charming waitress. It was bottomless mimosa, bellinis and sangria + brunch entrée for $ 20. We had the bellinis they were super bubbly, not too sweet. The sangria was very sweet, but also good. I ordered the California egg white omelet which came with bacon & avocado and asparagus on the side. It tasted great and it was guilt-free. I didn’t try the burger but I was told it was just«OK.» We shared an order of doughnuts from the dessert menu and they were absolutely amazing. So amazing that I almost wish I hadn’t experienced them so I wouldn’t keep thinking about the fireworks that went off with every single bite. They’re magical. Will definitely be back for brunch! I took one star because although our waitress was wonderful she disappeared after bringing our first drink. Our glasses were empty for about 25 to 30 minutes when she showed up with our food. I actually scanned the whole restaurant for her, and couldn’t find her but after that she was attentive enough.

We had a really nice meal here. The night started out great as we were seated promptly based on our 8:00 reservation. There was no wait at all even though the dining room was packed. It was also very nice of the management to accept our coupon even though it had expired. The dining room at Bonefish is impressive… it is spacious, modern/trendy and comfortable. I would describe the décor as ‘casual elegance’ – my wife even made me go in the bathroom to see the tile. She wanted to order the same type for our house. As we walked around I also noticed that they also have a very nice room for private parties. We were immediately greeted by our server(Tracy) who was wonderful all night. I noticed during the evening that Bonefish was extremely ‘kid-friendly’ based on the way our server treated our son, the activities/games offered to him and the extensive children’s menu. His meal was by far the best kiddie offering we have received at a restaurant. I ate most of it when he wasn’t looking. Our meal was also quite delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my fish tacos and my wife loved her tuna bowl(they need to find a new name for that) with sushi grade ahi tuna, avocado, sweet chili sauce, jasmine rice + passion fruit salsa. Appetizers were good but not great. The filet mignon skewers sounded much better than they tasted and the oysters Rockefeller came to the table room temperature. The oysters were much better last month during the Unilocal event hosted at Bonefish. We will definitely be back. There are several things I still want to try from the menu and we appreciate the consistent/friendly service and comfortable atmosphere. .

Sadly they ran out of the tuna tostadas by the time we got there(8pm on a weeknight)– we’ll need to come earlier! The new bar bites are also available in the dining room, so ask for them! The lobster tacos and mac n cheese bites are to die for! Wednesday is bang bang shrimp night — you can get a piled high plate of Bonefish’s famous appetizer for a discounted price. We were nearly full from the three apps, but my bf and I shared the Chilean sea bass with lemon butter and mashed potatoes too. It also did not disappoint and the buttery lemon flavor helped jazz up the usually bland fish. The mashed potatoes are also whipped to perfection. Drink wise — I had the Evolution white blend wine. This is my new favorite wine!!! From a small winery in Oregon, I’ve had trouble finding it in wine shops. Definitely will come back!

What a nice restaurant! I came here with my family the other night for a full sit down dinner. The bar at happy hour seemed pretty busy, we were still able to score a table on a Friday with no wait so I’m thankful for small miracles. Here’s the best part of the night. I was on vacation last month and had a gift card that expired. I spoke with Rob, one of the managers and he said not to worry. Is that not the BEST customer service! I wanted to get funky with the wines, they only offer a house wine for happy hour. And this is another interesting thing, Happy hour is extended to the dining room. Do you know how silly it is to have it only at the bar? Let me enjoy my beer sitting down thankyouverymuch. We sit down to nice booth. The restaurant is so modern, the waiter has a wireless entry system iPad. Very slick. Our wine and starters come out very quickly. We ordered Calamari and Potstickers, Calamari is a dish that is a deciding factor to me at any restaurant. And don’t say GALAMAD in front of me. This isn’t The Sopranos, its a stupid American slang word that makes you sound like a track suit wearing moron. Lets continue. The CALAMARI was cooked perfectly. If you overcook calamari it will get rubbery. The calamari was cooked perfectly. Back in the day, my grandmother would cut up the calamari in a big pot. The ink would seep out over heat, my favorite!(Miss Granny) The entrees range from full out Fish dinners to bowls, sandwiches and my all time favorite thing invented by the English, Fish and Chips. Can I confess to you fine Unilocalers how much I love F&Cs? If I had the choice of eating at Daniel or eating F&Cs? Well I’d choose Daniel but I love F&C! Everyone was happy with their meal as well as the overall experience of Bonefish Grill. It’s a chain but its a well managed chain with excellent food. All conveniently located in the same mall I terrorized as a teenager.(Sorry for the smokey burn outs Simon mall ;D)

I came back for a second visit to this Bonefish Grill location a few weeks after the original Unilocal event. Overall it was quite a pleasant visit even though some of the food I ordered didn’t feel was quite up to par. We arrived around 8:30 on a Saturday night so was for a later dinner than usual and because of that didn’t have to wait at all. The server we had was very attentive and quite enjoyable to interact with. He would regularly drop in to check up on us which I thought was really well done. We got several menu items and most of them are certainly very delicious. — Dim Sum Slider — I had tried this during my last time here and this time it was just as good as last time. Although I recommend not use the sauce they provided with as the meat as enough seasoning already in my opinion — Sirolin and Crabcake — I would say this is probably the highlight for me. The crabcake was really moist and tender and the steak was done just as ordered. The sides were good as well no problems at all — Scallop and Shrimp — This is one of the their new menu items and although the seafood were grilled really well I thought the rest of the dish didn’t really go all that well together. The peppers and onions I can certainly understand but I felt the olives were bit unnecessary. Also I think it was more watery than I liked that it became more like a mushy paste than just grill veggies + seafood — Doughnuts — The dessert we tried at the Unilocal event was actually a smaller portion version. To my surprise these are at least 1.5 times bigger than what I had last time. Same amazing texture and softness plus now they give you more chocolate and caramel as well as whipped cream. Definitely a guilty pleasure item :) — Martini Expresso — I tried their sweet chocolate Martini Expresso as a dessert item and just like last time it was very good. I think the expresso and chocolate covers up the alcohol taste that this feels more like a dessert than a drink. Overall a very enjoyable visit. I think as the new combo menu is relatively new they could use some more tweaking but really other than that its been a great visit.

After tonight’s visit I can say I’m a fan of the Bar Menu. I became a fan during a YEE and Bonefish graciously gave us all $ 50 gift cards to come back to let them prove themselves post event. Boy oh boy they sure did prove themselves to be awesome. Our server Dana was phenomenal! When I told her I had the gift card she thanked me and told me not to worry. No eye rolling no huff no puff. She was more than happy to accommodate. With that aside she took our drink order. My mom got a grey goose and chambord while I just got chambord and seltzer. I want to personally thank Dana. I know I thanked her in the restaurant but truly this girl needs to be commended for her friendly hard working excellent and warm service. I’m not kidding! Anyway back to the review. We split the following: — Tuna Tostada Stack — Shrimp Tostada Stack — Lobster Street Tacos — Maryland Crab Cakes — Lump Crab Chowder — The Donuts!!! Oh my gosh. We ordered way too much food and we brought food home! Everything was awesome but my insides start to get all warm and fuzzy towards the Tuna Stack. SO so GOOD! The donuts as usual were awesome. I was a little disappointed due to the squeeze bottles being M.I.A. and using little dishes. I like the squeeze bottle better in my opinion. Dana told us the donuts have been selling like hot cakes! Bonefish you have proven yourself to be worthy. I will be back for more Tuna Stacks and Donuts.

It pains me to give this place 2 stars after the 5-star experience I had at their Unilocal event not too long ago. At the event we were given gift cards to use which made me look forward to returning here for an actual dinner. The first time we came back, I would have to say everything was OK. We ordered the Corn and Crab Chowder which was pretty good, and my meal came with the house salad which was quite enjoyable and fresh. I ordered the Oscar Turbot which was on their Fire & Ice specialty menu. When it came out, it looked like someone threw my dinner up onto my plate. I had a hard time sifting through all the thrown about veggies on my plate to find my filet of fish soaking in 2 inches of butter sauce. I felt my arteries clogging as I ate it. It did come with mushroom ravioli though, which was damn good. I also ordered a blueberry/lavendar drink which came in a glass made fully of ice. It was tasty and pretty cool as well! The second time I visited was pretty rough all around. The server was not focused at all and had a really difficult time with just the drink order. I ordered a Lobster Roll which came out with the bread soaked in the lobstar salad juice, and my boyfriend ordered a Filet which came out looking like a regular piece of steak. I’m pretty sure I’ve never had a filet with fat on it… The meal itself was underwhelming to say the least. To top it off, the server added extra items to our check so make sure you give yours a once over before forking over the cash! The good thing about this place, it’s aesthetically pleasing inside and they give your table free bread & dipping oil(but you have to ask for it). Needless to say, for the drive out here and the experiences I’ve had… I will not be returning.

After piquing my interest with their tantalizing television commercials I finally checked out Bonefish Grill. How this restaurant is rated with anything less than four stars is astounding. When compared to other seafood chains such as Red Lobster, Joe’s Crab Shack etc. the competitors pale in comparisson. Despite the fact that it’s a chain restuarant all sterotypes aside it really did not feel like one. The dining room was set with warm mood lighting and a great mix of fun eclectic mix of music which included rock, indie, loungy and I even heard a drum and bass track in the playlist at one point. The service we received was phenomenal. The restaurant is fairly new and just opened about 4 months ago nonetheless their team is on point. I really hope that they keep this level of quality and courtesy because it will bring them much success in the years to come. We began our dining experience with the Moscow mule. A combination of Grey Goose, ginger, lime, and a dash of ginger beer garnished with mint and candied ginger served in a copper cup. Not a mix of flavors I’d imagine to go well together but they did. The hint of mint was sublte since it was not muddled and blended with the drink. The drink was paired with our first serving of appetizers off of their new bar bites menu which included Ahi Tuna tartare Tostada’s and Chipotle Shimp tostadas. The addition of mango salsa, cilantro, and spicy sauce enhanced the flavors perfectly. Shrimp is one of my faves but I have to say the Ahi Tuna tostadas were a worthy contender. The tuna was clean, fresh, and tasty. Nearly the exact moment we were done savoring these fantastic dishes our plates were already cleared and we saw the next course en route to our table. The wait staff here is really a class act, they were so friendly and cheerful while serving us. To be honest I’ve never been a fan of Sierra Nevada beer. It’s a bit on the bitter hoppy side but I won’t hold that against the restaurant. They do have other beers on tap so you have plenty of other options like Sam Adams, Blue Moon and my personal favorite Stella. The mac and cheese bites were plated on a bed of sweet chili sauce that added a bit of sweetness to the salty and crunchy yet gooey texture. These were devoured in a matter of seconds. The oysters rockefeller had a fantastic creamy topping made of spinach, cheese, and bacon but sadly under that delectable layer laid a sandy oyster. While I am not really into oysters I was trying to be open minded and give them a taste anyway. The grittiness sand was a major turn off and only solidified my decision to steer away from these in the future. The presentation however was top notch. They were served in a large stainless steel platter on a bed of course sea salt with a few lemon wedges. The star of the night was the lobster tacos. The shells were made of a crispy and flaky wonton and topped with heaping lumps of lobster. I would return just for these, that’s how good they were. The Charles and Charles Red blend that accompanied these was a great pairing. The blend of shiraz into the cabernet sauvignon did a great job in lightening the richness of the cabernet without sacrificing the lucious flavors. The lamb lollipop chops were perfectly cooked medium rare with just the right amount of pink once you cut into the meat. The exterior was nicely grilled but I wish there was a bit more seasoning on these. I’d recommend adding a dash of rosemary, a bit more garlic and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Following the lamb we were served Asian Dim Sum style BBQ pork sliders in a bamboo steamer. Not really an item you would expect to see at a seafood restaurant but I can dig it. The sauce was great, I thought I detected a little bit of terriyaki and sesame oil in the BBQ sauce but I could be wrong. It still had a nice sweetness to it. The buns were pillowy and soft and we took the slices of pork and made mini-sandwiches. The first few slices of meat were great but under that the cuts were a bit fatty. Again this was a great authentic Asian style presentation which only proves that seafood is not their only schtick. Now it was time for dessert so along with our freshly baked do it yourself doughnut kit we drank a expresso martini. The martini was my favorite drink of the night. So much in fact I asked for another and our very kind server obliged. The rim of the expresso martini was garnished with cane sugar and chocolate shavings. The flavors complimented the sea salt caramel and chocolate that we injected into our doughnuts. The coup de grace was a scoop of whipped cream on the side which we dipped our finished delights into. Bonefish Grill get’s my whole hearted seal of approval. Aside from the few minor hiccups with the fatty pork, and sandy oyster’s this would have been a five star dining experience. There’s no doubt in my mind that when I return and omit these items from my order my rating will be upgraded to five stars on my next visit.
