This is the first time we’ve eaten at Red Lobster in decades and overall it was a pleasant experience. We went for lunch. It wasn’t too busy, and the staff was very prompt and efficient. One aspect of the restaurant we appreciated was the low noise level(low music in the background) and it’s simple, nautical décor. I ordered the fish and chips and my wife got the baked, stuffed flounder. The servings weren’t large, but adequate for lunch(and priced acccordingly). The caesar salad that came with the flounder order was pretty good(it just had one piece of lettuce that was rusty). I did enjoy the Cheddar Bay Biscuits, even though they are a bit greasy. The fish & chips weren’t too greasy, but the fish was rather bland & rubbery. It would have been nice if they provided a bottle of hot sauce, such as Tobasco, for more flavoring. They did give us a bottle of malt vinegar. The flounder was also a bit bland and a little rubbery but the stuffing added flavor. My wife asked for and quickly received some lemon wedges. It would have been nice if they were wrapped in a bit of cheesecloth, to keep pits off the food when you squeezed them. Three stars reflect the overall quality of the food we had. We’ll probably go back again and try some dishes with the seafood this chain is best known for: shrimp & lobster.

The bread is the only best thing about this place. service is bad and parking is horrendous. The waiter/waitress are always annoyed and don’t seem to want to do work or acknowledge your existence. Food is expensive and not quality food. which makes no sense but it is food if you are desperate. I won’t be going back

Love Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I had a «Wood-Grilled Lobster, Shrimp and Salmon» and it was great.

Today my husband and I went for lobster fest. My plate was lobster & shrimp. It was delicious! My problem was the service. Our waitress was very taut, snippy and not pleasing. The waiter or waitress is key to any restaurant. They help to set the mood. The rating scale for our waitress is 1 in a scale of 1 – 4.

I was very disappointed .I wanted Tacos, on the menus they had 4 choices shrimp, chicken, fish, and lobster. I asked if I could have a mix. all of the prices was the same except for one. She said no never asking the manager or the cook. I am a cook and know that it would be nice if she would have asked. So much for your tip.

4 stars up for service & quality of food. I’m not sure why they got so many not so great ratings but our experience was great.

Went with others. No surprises. It’s still red lobster. Horrendous food. Lots of batter. I just had beer which was fine. No real food to be had here.

This is definitely my go to spot when I have a taste for seafood. Their biscuits are scrumpdilliumptious! Not to mention the deliverance of great service each and every time I dine there. The food is always spot on and tastes fresh. The prices are great as well!!!

It was an unusual experience for those of us with strict dietary concerns within the party of 5. The waitress seemed annoyed bc of diet. Also handed our table the managers list of items that we had to scour through to determine what this individual could consume. I wasn’t impressed.

Biscuits are just the most heavenly thing you’ll put in your mouth. Speaking of putting things in your mouth, I was very uncomfortable at my last visit to the Red Lobster. I went with my friend to grab a meal and the waitress was under the impression that we were gay for each other. Also, the main dish was not worth the price of the meal.

There food looks so good on the T. V commercials. But than reality sets in. Smallest shrimps in the world. Ok service and average food quality. Small portions, not worth my time again. Sorry But maybe you should have the AD agency cook

Once again, same as my Olive Garden review, I’m embarrassed to say I went here. What can I say? They exist because of their biscuits. They have to. Who would possibly go there for the seafood? I don’t even need to post what I got because everything I’ve had there in the past 10 years sucks. Unfortunately for an Island we have very poor seafood here so I can’t even say where to go, unless you wanna drive to the east end.

Our server, Stephan was very friendly! My boyfriend and I ordered so many rounds of shrimp dishes for the endless shrimp promotion and Stephan was very nice about it. My boyfriend ordered grilled shrimp and Stephan brought out one for each of us even though we only ordered one because he figured I’d end up wanting one too. I thought that was very nice of him so props to you Stephan ! The shrimp dishes were mediocre. There were six dishes you can order from and I was only satisfied with one of them. The garlic shrimp scampi and the parmesan shrimp scampi was way too salty. The shrimp linguine Alfredo was too oily/buttery. The coconut shrimp was too sweet and there was nothing special about the hand-breaded shrimp. I like the siracha shrimp the best. The flavors were great and it did not taste as salty with the rice. Could be a bias though because I love spicy food. Overall it was Great service but not worth the food! I would not come back here for the endless shrimp promotion.

Our 71 year old waitress Ronnie was great! I ordered the 4 course meal. The biscuits always steal the show! I can eat about 10 of them. My shrimp and scallops pasta dish was good however too oily. Dessert was the caramel cheesecake, another winner! I left full and satisfied. I cannot complain about that!

On a leisurely weekend drive on The Island, my wife started craving some seafood(something I will never understand. If it swims, I won’t eat it), and since I had never experienced Red Lobster’s famous biscuits, we set out in search of one. Seeing the«meh at best» reviews, I was a little apprehensive. That and my assumption that I would be the only one ordering the one and only non-seafood dish they have. Luckily, this wasn’t the case! As soon as we arrived, we were told we could skip the 20 minute wait for a table by eating at the bar. The bar was totally empty, so we took that offer. Our bartender/waiter Alexander was attentive and friendly, and before long we had our orders in and were diving into fresh, hot, cheddar bay biscuits. My wife went with a trio of seafood dish, which apparently was pretty delicious(yuck. :P). I went with the 4-course menu, choosing a caesar salad, spicy chicken tortilla soup, bourbon honey glazed pork with red roasted potatoes, and the caramel cheesecake for dessert. Each dish was fantastic. And the portions, which I expected to be smaller since this was from a pre-fixe menu, were massive. I would definitely come back here, especially since the non-seafood options are plentiful!

It was pretty good. A bit pricey, but well cooked, presentation was average, service was great. No fireworks here. Just a big noise.

Unusually good for a chain restaurant. First thing you notice is how hot, soft and fresh the biscuits are. You’ll end up asking for more. We’re so used to salty fare at these places and couldn’t help but comment at how the dishes were so tasty without the sodium overload. Indeed, the Chef here is excellent. Everything from the appetizers to the entrees were hot and tasty. The Shrimp and Chicken was tender and juicy, as was the Pineapple Chili Salmon. Service is topnotch. Our server Stephen promptly introduced himself, explained the menu options thoroughly and made sure my coffee cup was full! I recommend the Dinner for Two. At $ 29.95, it includes two salads, an appetizer(dessert for 4.99 extra) and two entrees. Choices include a variety of pasta, surf and turf. Best dining experience at a Red Lobster!

I used to like red lobster– a good amount — but i was young and easily impressed. Now I’m older and wiser, ahem, I no longer go to red lobster because well, the last time I went I had food poisoning. I believe it was the salad I had. I only recall the occasional decent creamy seafood pasta dish, and most of all the biscuits. For all those who still go for their biscuits, ill let you in on a little secret. They sell these biscuit mixes that come with the herb sesonings and all. You add some cheddar cheese and water to the mix, bake them, and brush them with the provided seasoning and melted butter, and voila you have red lobster biscuits fresh out of your oven.

Those damn chedder bay biscuits! Dropped in here recently to eat with some of the family while on LI for a day. As a Red Lobster this place is pretty standard — all have the same nautical /dark wood décor. Menu is the same all around, but if you crave seafood the food is tasty and solid. Lobster, shrimp, scallops, soups, crab, salmon, etc. Also steak and chicken seafood combo platters. What I do like is that there are also healthier options if you want it baked or broiled. Veggies and rice instead of potatoes. To me, the service here is fine, no complaints. But those damn cheddar bay biscuits just call my name! They are evil and delicious. Get that basket away from me!
