One of the best sandwiches in town, a lot of flavor and the bread is excellent.
Christine the owner is very nice and takes pride in her food. I highly recommend.

Really great sandwiches (we ordered the Italian, the pastrami & the club) definitely would go there again. The prices were fair for the quality of the food. The service was friendly, it was clean & cool inside.

Love, love, LOVE this deli! These dedicated and super nice owners spend most of their time there, warmly greeting customers and preparing the most awesome sandwiches, including their signature «Death Dog» that they offer only on Thursdays due to the complexity in preparing this delicious specialty. My husband had one and wished he lived nearby so he could have one every Thursday. You can even order sandwiches and salads to your specifications. Order your sandwiches from them next time you are on Acoma heading to the lake. Look for the purple and green sign.

Whenever Im in town, im always looking for a new place to eat. Craving for today was some kind of sandwich. Enter search nearby. Mr H’s Deli came up so off I went!
As I walk in I am welcomed by a nice lady and I assume her husband? They were both nice and told me to take my time. After looking over the menu I decided to go with the Prime Rib Sandwich ($ 8.99). Shaved Prime Rib on a Hawaiin Sweet Roll with Carmelized Onions, Provolone, and Campari Tomatoes with a cup of Au Jus to dip it in.
It tasted pretty good although I think it would of been better with sourdough or ciabatta bread. The sweetness of the bread just didnt blow me away. Nevertheless, the meat was very good.
Looking over their menu I see some other choices that has me interested next visit. They also told me about the Death Dog ($ 5.99) that they serve on Thursdays only. Apparently its so good that you have to order ahead for they run out before you even get there to order it!
So next time im in town, this place will be on my list of possible lunch destinations. Since they have only been open for about 5 months, their hours vary at the moment so I suggest that you give them a call first before heading out.

Small place, with only a few tables! But, that’s ok! They are friendly and fast! Sandwich selection is good, and you can build your own. They did not have take out menu’s, but told me the menu is on Facebook page. I hope they get them soon ! I like to call in orders! I encourage you to try them!

Amazing!!! You can really tell they make everything from scratch and they use only the best products. The owners are very nice and helpful. It’s about time a place moves in here that is about quality!

Went to Mr H’s Wow. Really good sandwiches. Met the owners. Nice as can be. Very attentive & professional.
They said it’s been a little slow since opening. Really? With these sandwiches?
I hope this place makes it. I hope people can be open minded to support this small business. That’s what it’s all about.

We live in CA and stopped in there for lunch on our way home…6 people and 6 different sandwiches and they were all excellent. Mr. H’s definitely ain’t no subway. Their sandwiches were packed with meat! Definitely will be back on our next trip to Havasu!

Found this shop through Unilocal and gave it a shot. The two women working were so friendly and explained the whole menu to us. They hand make their spreads– a very yummy avocado spread and a pepperchini spread. The sandwiches were DELICIOUS! The bread was also really good. Don’t waste your time at subway. Go try this shop! We will be back for subs before every lake trip!

My wife and I tried Mr. H’s Deli for the first time today. I love a good deli sandwich and Mr. H’s did not disappoint. I ordered the 12″ Turkey with pepper jack and all of the extras. The sandwich was huge and filled to the point I could only eat half of it for lunch. Well, at least I know what I am having for dinner. My wife had the «special» of the day-​turkey sandwich, and she loved hers as well. The kitchen area, as well as the entire restaurant was spotless.
We were served by Christine. She was very nice and helpful in explaining their menu and our ordering options. It is always nice dealing with pleasant people like Christine and her co-​worker. If you are looking for a great deli sandwich give this place a try. I don’t think you will be disappointed. We will definitely be back!

Spotted the ‘new’ sandwich shop on Acoma and decided to try it for lunch that day.
When we walked in we were greeted by a nice woman who appeared to be one of the owners… maybe Mrs. H?!
The place looked nice inside, clean and freshly remodeled.
The inside is a mix between an ultra modern shop and a French bistro. Looks like they have 2 different themes going on in there. The barstools were cool and there were 5 or 6 tables as well as the bar to sit at. The place is larger inside than it looks from the outside.
For a start up business it looks like they are trying to do things a little different for Havasu. They offer a Veggie Wrap which is hard to find in this town.
The sandwiches come in 4″, 8″ and 12″… Kinda weird that you can’t get a 6 incher!
The 8″ turkey was $ 6.99. Veggie Wrap $ 5.50.
My turkey sandwich came on the wrong bread and was missing one of the special spreads that she offered to me so that was a bummer. The bread it came on was too thick… a whole lotta bread!
But even with the wrong bread and missing spread, the sandwich tasted good and seemed like good quality meat and toppings.
It appears they were shorthanded that day or they just don’t like to work on the weekends. They seemed to be kinda complaining a lot about having to work on the weekend. Maybe their employees didn’t show up that day?!
I will definitely be back to give this place another try soon.
I’m sure it will only get better once they work out the bugs!
