This is a great dinner spot! Friendly, attentive staff. Great Atmosphere! The menu has something for everybody. We all had the fried chicken. It is boneless and cooked to perfection. The coleslaw had a great flavor but is heavy on the dressing. We all had leftovers to take home due to the generous servings. We shared the crème brûlée, too. It was very good. They have a nice wine selection, too.

Probably some of the best and freshest seafood I d had in the northwest. Will definitely go back again. The only issues is that for a seafood place they don’t offer clam chowder. It’s like what’s up with that? The place was not crowded on a Wednesday night yet it took them over 20mins to seat a group of 6 people.

Since I was staying across the street I figured I would check Unilocal for a local favorite. I ordered the prime rib sandwich. The prime rib was a small 8oz steak which to me seemed to be a little dry. I certainly utilized the au jus to dip it in. I also lathered the bread with basically what was mayonnaise and horseradish mixed in. It was a decent sandwich but I am not a huge fan of prime rib because of situations like this where the steak seems to be kind of dry. I would certainly try something different and wish I tried the seasonal special of fried chicken. If in the area again will give it another try and another meal

I had the best stuffed salmon of my life at Oswego Grill. Tender, cooked to 5 star perfection. The rice pilaf was incredible as it had jasmine rice(my fav) in the mix. ANDTHEGRILLEDASPARAGUS…(Mic drop) if you’re looking for a variety of palette pleasing entrees, you have got to stop in. It’s absolutely my go to now. Especially during their Happy Hour fm 3 – 6!!!

Last night we met Tam’s in-laws here for dinner. It’s midway between their home and our Air BnB in Portland, When we arrived they had already secured a comfortable booth. The restaurant is comfortable and attractive, though dark enough that I needed Alan’s iPhone flashlight to read the menu. Alan and I decided to share an entrée spinach salad to start. It was comprised of spinach, hardwood grilled asparagus, cranberry and mint couscous, tossed in champagne vinaigrette dressing. I was tempted by the fried chicken, but it didn’t come on the bone so I decided to have the sirloin steak instead, adding flash fried asparagus for $ 2 extra. The server was very helpful, particularly around Alan’s low sodium diet. He also ordered a sirloin steak, which comes topped with grilled portabello mushroom and demi glacé sauce. It’s served with buttermilk mashed potatoes. The server suggested his demi glacé be on the side and Alan substituted crispy fries for the mashed potatoes. He also ordered asparagus and a side of Brussels sprouts. D and L ordered fish dishes. Alan asked for bread. Our server explained that it came w/an herb spread that contained some salt and she arranged to have a loaf split half and half, one side plain and the other w/the spread. It was very thoughtful of her. I ordered a glass of Gnarly Head Zinfandel and Alan had iced tea. D and L drank water. The salad came split and was interesting and tasty w/the mint couscous. It also had small split grapes to add a touch of sweetness. The bread was warm and slightly sour. Lovely. The steaks were cooked to order and were delicious paired w/the portabello. The asparagus were a little al dente for my taste but perfect for Alan. The Brussels sprouts were excellently done, roasted and caramelized. We finished every one. Alan liked his fries and I liked the tastes I had of my mashed potatoes, although I try to avoid eating them. D and L seemed pleased w/their dishes and we had a good visit. We were full enough that we skipped dessert.

Food was okay. Ordered crusted fish and the cheese fries. Fries weren’t crisp. Ahi tuna was good. Flavored of the food was just ok. Drinks were good and service was good.

A great date night or business diner. Classy and elegant but not over the top. Casual in dress. Good steak and other american food. Classy patrons and a private environment. Good drinks. This is a good place to take a professional party.

We were in town for our son’s basketball tournament. One of the best meals we’ve had and certainly the best customer service! Our party of seven was seated very quickly and our waitress was fantastic! Super friendly with excellent recommendations. We started with the salt and pepper calamari which was delicious. I had the ahi-tuna and crab roll which was not only yummy but beautifully plated. My husband had the fried chicken, also delicious. Our friends had the chicken sandwich and the salmon. The kids all had burgers, which are huge, so make sure you have an appetite if you order them. The manager came over to say hi and when we told her our boys’ team had lost their game, she brought them two giant banana split/sundaes and a signed card from the staff. We were floored! I’ve had restaurants treat us to dessert or appetizers in the past, but never had anyone give us a card signed by the staff. It was such a sweet unexpected gesture! We will certainly be back the next time we’re in town!!! Super impressed!

Came here on my first night in Lake Oswego. Atmosphere is nice and my waitress was very friendly. Sat by myself in the bar area as I was here on business. I ordered the tenderloin tips plate which was nothing stellar but definitely edible. Wouldn’t probably order that again but as my company was paying I couldn’t bring myself to order a $ 30 prawn dish that I was actually eyeing. But the desert is what made this not so awesome dinner still make me give four stars… The donut dessert with caramel dipping sauce. These are straight out of heavens gate. I could seriously drink the sauce. The donuts are as big as meatballs and you get a plate of five. I ate four and contemplated eating the last one but knew my stomach would hate me later. Took it back to the hotel and it didn’t last til morning. I would go back here just for the donuts.

We went to Oswego Grill on Saturday night for an «early» birthday dinner. I have to say, it’s a pretty solid restaurant. I got the filet with mashed potatoes. The steak was good, the potatoes were excellent, but no veggies, which was a bit disappointing. I had some of my wife’s asparagus, which helped out. She had the rotisserie chicken and liked it. Service was good and pretty attentive, tables were clean and not crammed together, ambiance was similar to places like Stanfords or Houstons. They even gave us a free banana split for dessert. Can’t go wrong with that. Only recommendation would be to include a veggie with the steak entrees or a salad, but other than that, a very good restaurant in Lake Oswego.

Found the restaurant on Trip Advisor as we were driving through the area and everyone was hungry. Menu looked doable for my picky daughter. It was nearly 7pm and they were very busy, luckily no wait for a table. Service was friendly and quick. I had the salmon Tacos and they were delicious. Two of them, as I couldn’t finish the three. I would definitely stop here again if I were in the area.

Oswego Grill is nestled off of I-5 and HWY217 in Lake Oswego(there is an alternate location in Wilsonville that I have not visited). There is plenty of parking which is always a solid start to any dining experience. I was at a recent dinner with 12 guests, and Oswego Grill killed it! It wasn’t just the great food and charming décor, but their service! Taking orders from a party of 12 guests without getting a single order wrong was impressive; however, the ending is what took the cake(literally). On this day it happened to be my brother and sister’s birthday. We informed Oswego Grill staff of this, assuming we’d get one of those awesome birthday songs from the entire staff, but we were wrong. Pleasantly wrong. Not only did Oswego Grill bring out a delicious dessert, but the entire staff signed a card wishing both parties a happy birthday. Allow me to repeat this: they gave an individualized handwritten note to their guests wishing them a happy birthday! This is an example of taking an ordinary dining experience and turning it into an extraordinary one. P. S. Try the Calamari on their HH menu — you won’t be disappointed in the taste or the cost.

Very nice and very popular restaurant in a strip mall right off I-5 in Lake Oswego. It has a classic look with dark wood and dark leather, low lighting and large booths. I’m told this space used to be a Chilis. This is a much better idea IMHO. The word grill in the name provides a clue about what to expect. Grilled meats and fish are a specialty. Wood grilled that is, so there’s a special smoky flavor to the food that you can’t get just anywhere. It feels a bit like a martini and steak kind of place but it’s not that fancy. It’s more casual and has more variety in the menu and beverages. Hardwood grilled salad was my choice for lunch on my most recent visit. What’s that? Half a head of romaine lettuce split lengthwise down the middle and laid on the grill to pick up just a little char and smoky flavor. Part of the lettuce takes on a slightly wilted, soft texture, with a nice smoky flavor, and the rest stays cool and crisp as you would expect for your salad. Topped with a grilled chicken breast, and a little cotija cheese, you get some protein, and a little salty fat from the cheese. It comes with a bacony vinaigrette that has a bit of sweet, a bit of acid, and just enough bacon chunks to add some savory porky goodness to the plate. We made reservations for Noon on a weekday, and are glad we did as there was a good sized line waiting to be seated. We got the first class treatment and were seated in a comfortable private booth. Since this was a «working lunch» we had privacy and comfort to discuss the big issues of our day. Parking is a headache as they share a parking lot with a Starbucks, Potbelly, Chipotle(though that’s less popular now with that whole e-coli thing) and a couple of other businesses. They have a free valet service which is a good idea and highly recommended. Just because it’s free doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do right by the valets though. Give them a few bucks for running around in the rain to fetch your car. It’s worth it for making your visit to Oswego Grill that much more enjoyable and they have girlfriends and college to pay for.

We walked in and were told by one of the gals at the front desk that there was a wait and we could eat in the bar if there was a table available. We all go to the bar and it’s totally packed. Back out to the front desk. Now there are three groups of people standing in the foyer. The hostess puts all of their names down first and looks over at me and smirks, then asks if I want to be put on the wait list. I was very annoyed, and said that I would like to be put on the list. One of the other gals looks at her and they start snickering to each other. Ummmm… really? If I hadn’t been there with our friend who lives in the area, and wanted to eat here, I would have walked right out. We were finally seated and ordered our food. The server acted annoyed each time I asked for a refill of iced tea. Not good. He then takes forever to bring us our food, and it wasn’t hot when it finally came. I have often said that great service and food that is the correct temperature will elevate a mediocre meal. Since we had neither, I was very disappointed. I have eaten here two other times, and had okay food. I hope our friend doesn’t want to eat here when we are in town again. First time shame on you, second time shame on me, three times… I am just a fool for coming back and expecting a different outcome. Three strikes and you are out!

My wife and I always visit when we are in town. This time I got the Filet Mignon which turned out to be a little dry and flavorless along with the flavorless mashed potatoes. But the waitress was very sweet and I was to tired to speak up. We will be back.

I arrived a bit before 5 pm for Happy Hour. There was just one seat in the entire bar area open and it had my name on it.(HH is available in the bar only.) Seated at the bar might have made it easier for the bartender to provide excellent and friendly service but it appeared that those seated at tables were just as happy. I enjoyed the glass of house red(Red Diamond Merlot)($ 5) and a Caesar salad($ 2.95) very much. On the recommendation of a regular I also ordered the parmesan coated mac and cheese balls that come with a side of marinara sauce. They sounded so yummy that I was willing to splurge on the calories. Although they may be quite popular with many they were too boring for my taste. The presentation and portion was quite nice. The décor is clean, comfortable and subtle. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. The bar seat was nice enough to mention. I love that they had a place for me to put my feet. A pet peeve of mine is no place to place your feet when seated at a bar. My entire bill including 18% tip was less than $ 20 so I deem this a win-win and would go back.

The food here was very well prepared and presented. A great place to go out for a special occasion that isn’t outrageously priced. Service: was friendly and professional. It seemed to take a little while to get our food, but not too bad. Food: delicious. Very tender and flavorful steak, and i recommend the fried brussel sprout salad. Ambiance: mood lighting, intimate, clean
