I had breakfast for the first time today. This place was recommended by a coworker to me. I must say customer service is good. The food is tasty and the menu has a lot to offer. If your looking for a good breakfast spot check them out.

Banana walnut French toast — actual banana bread dipped in egg — this is a God level move, I will be stealing this — banana syrup was way too sweet

Found this café on Unilocal and it was close to the AV hospital. I arrived around 9 am on a week day. I guess I missed the breakfast crowd because it was pretty empty. Small and cozy. Old décor but a bar with a TV. Greeted as soon as I entered. Very open floor plan so you can hear the next table’s conversation easily. Good portions for a reasonable price for real bacon and eggs. My pancakes were well done, but I didn’t have time to send them back. It was a good basic breakfast. I would visit again if I’m in the area because but not a place that requires a second visit. For me it was nothing to brag about. The service was normal and so was the food, but I’m ok with normal versus bad.

You can’t miss here. Everything is great. Home fries are the best. They have unique sweet spins on breakfast classics and their Eggs Benedict are my favorite!

Definitely a hidden gem of Lancaster. I like the décor; bunch of roosters and made to look like the outside of a barn of some sort. Unlimited refills on coffee and creamers! Not just regular cream, flavored! They had everything your heart would desire for breakfast. I ordered carrot cake waffle– didn’t taste much of a carrot cake, but sill good. She split up the bill for the group and service was great. In and out within an hour!

We love the breakfasts here. Huge portions and so delicious. Quite a variety of pancakes. My favorite is the German chocolate pancakes. Do, however, try the biscuits & gravy and grits. You will not be disappointed. Alana, our waitress, treated us like old friends even though we had never met her before. She was a lot of fun.

My group stopped here on the way to a day trip in the Sierras. It’s very cozy, the servers seemed to know all the customers by name. Our server did a little dance welcoming us to the restaurant. It’s super kitschy with roosters EVERYWHERE. Prices are reasonable, especially since the portions are pretty substantial. I ordered the ham and cheese crêpe, another had the bacon waffle(A+). They also serve something called jalapeño corn cakes which I hope to try one day!

A very homey atmosphere. I like it during the week, because is not too crowded for noisy. I had the vegetable scramble today with pancakes. Very yummy. Come and try this place!

Came here while visiting Edwards AFB and I must say that I’ve enjoyed my breakfast here. Service was A+ awesome! The staff are very attentive and I never had to stare at the bottom of my coffee mug wondering if I’ll ever get a refill. I ordered eggs Benedict and I’ve enjoyed it very much! Most places make theirs overly salty but I like how AM’s wasn’t and if I did want to make it saltier then I had the freedom to add more salt. I’ve also tried a bite of my friends’ breakfast. I can’t recall what they had but I remember liking theirs as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great service, food, and relaxing unique décor.

We are frequent breakfast customers here at AM Café. The farmhands favorite is the best thing to order because you get a little bit of everything. Eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, and their pancakes are to die for. I am not big on pancakes but I love love their banana walnut pancakes with the banana special syrup. The coffee is amazing and the service is excellent. They have so many different types of pancakes. Any flavor pancake you can think of they have! Their house salsa is really good too. No complaints at all !!!

What a gem! Best breakfast that I’ve had in years. Dutch Apple French toast and home fries are incredible. Perfectly prepared. No mushy French toast and heaped with cinnamon and apples, burried in a sweet buttery icing and whipped cream. Home fries were prepped with a touch of salt and spices, cooked perfectly, crispy outside, hot inside. Way to go!

Good food, but could use improvement in other areas. I like the fact that this café has breakfast all day long. This review will be based on the breakfast that we ordered at brunch. The service was pretty slow taking into consideration that there was only 4 tables occupied. The interior décor was really creepy. The entire place was crammed packed with roosters. It was most definitely a rooster themed layout. It looks like it used to be a cheesy Mexican restaurant turned café. A meal for two ran $ 25 with tip. For the customer: The blueberry pancakes were delicious and the home fries were good too. I would personally skip on the coffee. It tasted pretty old and we only got it refilled once. We ordered sunny side up eggs and were pretty displeased, overlooked on the bottom, under on top. For the business: Don’t bring the check until the customer is done eating. We got ours half way through the meal. It makes the customer feel rushed and unappreciated. Also, when you cook sunny side up eggs, start with a hot stove, crack the egg, lower the temp and cover it… the steam will cook it nicely and you won’t overlook the bottom or the yolk. Overall, I like the price and the pancakes, but this wouldn’t be my top choice for breakfast in the AV.

I had been here a couple times before and it was okay… not bad, not particularly good. But today I went in for breakfast and ordered eggs benedict and coffee. When I picked up the coffee cup, there was dried crud on the handle, so I asked for a clean cup. The waitress apologized and brought another cup. When the food arrived I saw that the hollandaise sauce was separated and oily-looking. The dish came with a steak knife, which was necessary to cut the thick canadian bacon and rubbery english muffin, but the knife was dirty. Not wanting to send back another dirty dish, I just wiped it off with my napkin. By this time I had drank about half the coffee and noticed a bit of red lipstick on the cup… the cup that had replaced the other dirty one… so I just wiped it off and wiped my mouth in case there was somebody’s lipstick on my bottom lip(my wife doesn’t like it when I come home with lipstick on me). Then I found that the eggs were overcooked. The yolks were hard. So, to sum up: two dirty cups, one dirty knife, bad hollandaise, and overcooked eggs. I did eat it… I was hungry, which is often the case when I go into a restaurant. I put a dollar on the table and started to get up to pay the check($ 12 and change) then thought«screw it, I’m not going to leave a tip for this crap» so I went to the cashier who said«how was everything?» and I told her«terrible. I won’t be back». The manager or owner overheard and asked what the problem was so I told him. He didn’t charge me and as I took my money back I said«I appreciate that but I still won’t be back.» I’m no Felix Unger, but I don’t think clean dishes is too much to ask from a restaurant even if the food is good. On the plus side, they have wi-fi now, which they didn’t the last time I was there.

The food was prepared to perfection for its cost. The home potatoes were seasoned well, did not taste ordinary compared to your typical low cost breakfast joint. The carrot cake pancake is a must try. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. This place was great value and probably the best breakfast place in the AV.

Breakfast menu is a variety of deliciousness for any palette. A unique find in this area. I was so excited to try the rare breakfast fare I had to order 3 dishes. The corncakes with chili and cheese, peach cobbler pancakes, and not your grandmas pancakes. All dishes were Awesomeness that best breakfast EVER!

Please stop by the resturant and pick an angel off the Christmas tree and donate a toy for children! The Salvation Army is the cause you would be donating the toy for! The Owner Mike is very nice and a giving person! The food is always fresh and delicious! My husband and I love to eat here and the staff is awesome!!!
