Warm and friendly service. Clean tables. Always full and great ambiance. Food is big. Malts and specialty sodas are awesome. Place to try in Lancaster. Play the jukebox. Enjoy :)

Service was super fast. We came in at 9am on a weekday as a large group and was out with boxes and checks paid in just over 45 minutes. The server was quick as we requested because we needed to go back to work at 10am. Food and prices were fair. I know the group enjoyed the French toast.

We eat breakfast here all the time for about a year. No complaints besides sometimes a wait but that means it’s good. The food is good and a great old school atmosphere. Must use the jukebox! Good service and the girls here are always friendly.

Truly delicious breakfast. The décor is like an old café from the 40’s or 50’s. Friendly customer service. The menu has plates named after people such as Elvis and Humphrey Bogart. The French toast is amazing. Will be coming here quite frequently for weekend breakfasts with the family.

This place is amazing! The staff is great and the food is delicious. My personal favorite is the Jackie Gleason. It has a burger patty, cheese, bacon, and tomato. All between two sourdough breads. My husband always gets their peanut butter milkshake. He said you get chunks of peanut butter and he loves it.

If you’re looking to go back time while enjoying a wonderful breakfast/lunch meal, Katz n Jammerz is your remedy. As far as I know, this is the only restaurant in the AV that has retained its originality with its décor and quality of food from decades back(that’s what my father told me so if I’m wrong, go to him). The omelettes are superior as well as the pancakes, there’s something for everyone; but beware, the mornings can get crowded due to an excessive amount of hungry customers.

Good food. Good coupons(buy 1 get 1 free) and«most» of the time good service. Bathrooms are awkward and outside the establishment and the place is a little small. Some drawbacks but otherwise I enjoy my regular trips.

Overall a good experience. Food was good and the portions are huge. I had enough leftovers to feed me for 3 days! Also enjoyed the décor of the restaurant and the waiter was friendly. The only thing I’m not keen about is the prices but I suppose it’s appropriate for the portion size. Bottom line, if you haven’t been to Catz n Jammers you’re missing out.

I’m a regular at Katzenjammers. It’s a 50’s diner with music and lots of atmosphere. Love the food, especially the grilled chicken salad. They offer daily specials to suit every palate. Service is excellent and delivery is available to my office so it’s perfect!

This place is such a perfect blast from the past! The outside may seem a little uninviting but trust me the inside is a total 50’s diner ! Amazing artwork and records adorn the walls along with a jukebox and counter with and TV okay classic 50’s cartoon and nd music. You can walk right in and sit wherever you please and are greeted by extremely friendly staff. A lot of foods to choose from and drinks and shakes! They give you amazing portions and the biscuits and gravy are to die for! A must stop if you are looking for vintage hearty food and amazing people.

It’s a 50’s diner left over from the 50’s: not retro, but rather a relic. The food is old-school American breakfast and burger fare. It’s quality food. But it’s pricey for what you get. $ 12 for two eggs, two rashers of bacon, and some biscuits & gravy seems a little bit steep. This is a small step up from Denny’s in terms of quality, quantity, and atmosphere; it’s a small step down in terms of value. The bathroom out back, not accessible from within the restaurant, is a bit TOO old-school for me. It’s off-putting to have to step outside and walk through a parking lot to drain out all the watery coffee they give you with your fatty, carb-heavy breakfast plate. For a traditional, American-style breakfast, you could do a lot worse than this, but in terms of value for your money, you’re going to do a whole lot better at Crazy Otto’s about a mile away on Avenue I and 20th street.

I’ve been going here for breakfast almost every Sunday for about 12 years. The staff are great, know us and what we like. The chicken fried steak and corn beef hash are tasty. The omelets are large, perfectly made. They are conveniently located to the Metrolink Station.

Very good food, great variety for breakfast or lunch. If you haven’t tried them you need to. The wait wasn’t long, and they kept our drinks full.

The look of the restaurant is amazing and gives a welcoming and comforting feeling. I never even knew it existed until my friend took me there. The food tastes great, I just wish they had more choices on the menu that’s why I gave it 4 stars

One of the best breakfast experiences I have ever had! Our food was ready in minutes. The restaurant is clean and I enjoyed the 50s décor. The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. Prices are a little high but that is because they give you huge portions of food.

Cute little diner off Lancaster blvd. which is perfect, I always thought the blvd. needed a diner and I completely forgot about this place. But it’s there… Anyhow it’s an awesome little spot, I felt like I was walking into the middle of 1955, I LOVED the retro vibe that place had. The music, the memorabilia, and they even have a retro black and white television with retro television shows playing while they’re open. That’s awesome. On their menu, some of the items are named after famous people from the 40’s and 50’s eras, so that was neat too. The food was good, I had the Elvis«All Shook Up»(hehe) omelette, w/o the diced ham and it was tasty. My brother had the chicken tenders and those were good as well. I’ve had better hash browns elsewhere, but that’s not keeping me from coming back. They’re menu is NOT vegetarian(even less vegan) friendly, but you can omit meat from any dish is you like. Prices are a little high, but for the experience I feel that they are fair. They have a lot of drink options, so I think I’ll try a malt next time I pop in. The AV needs more spots like this one. So glad I rediscovered this gem!
