My husband and I signed up for the free birthday dinner and never received anything in the mail or on our email. We were disappointed but thought it was just an oversight or our signups fell through the crack. We had dinner again recently, enjoyed the meal, and signed up again for the free birthday dinner. NOTHINGAGAIN!!! We will probably go to this restaurant again but we will not let ourselves get disappointed again by signing up for the birthday dinner!

My wife and I go at least once a week for their lunch special($ 8.99). Great Service! Ask for Laura or Cynthia. Food is always prepped well and served fresh. Make reservations for holidays and Friday or Saturday nights so you don’t have to wait. I have heard that the General Manager is not professional with his staff. This would be the only complaint.

My family and I arrived at 6pm on a Saturday and to our surprise there wasn’t much of a wait. This place was very clean and waitress was very nice and fast with our orders. The reason for a two star is that, we had the worst customer service experience from the manager Brian Christopherson, after we spoke up about people smoking to close to the door and getting big clouds of smoke at our table every time someone walked in or out. He disregarded our complaint and did nothing to resolve this situation. If you enjoy being around smokers this place would be perfect.

Love dinner for two with dessert! It feeds three people! The steak is good, sampler appetizer is our favorite!

Never had a bad meal here and the Campfire Dinner for 2 is a great deal. Service is great as well. I like the old school feel of the place too. Takes me back to the early 80s whenever we go there.

Wonderful experience. Took my parents for their anniversary dinner yesterday and it was perfect. Everything from the food to our waitress(Chrissy) made my parent’s dinner truly enjoyable! Thank you! Btw, their white chocolate bread putting is amazing!!!

The last two visits were pretty bad-went for Thanksgiving and the soup/salad literally came when the food came. The food was lukewarm when we got around to eating it, so we took most of it home. The visit before this, they brought out the food before the appetizer, so we sent it back. After eating the appetizer, they brought out the food and it was cold! So we took it home and microwaved it! Just close the restaurant and make it a drive thru! Seriously, if you’re going to serve food in courses, make sure that the waitresses understand the concept!

Yeah, it’s a chain. But it’s a good enough place to catch a game or have a good — enough meal.

A year ago we went here with 8 people. 3 being kids. Waited 45 minutes the kids are out of control by this time. So a year later I try again. With me my wife a 1 yr old and 5 yr old. Skeptical. They seat us right away. The host was great. Crayons for the kids. High chair in seconds. I notice my plate is dirty. So I ask my wife to see hers. It it dirty also. 3 out of 4 plates have food on them. I look over at my 5 yr old and see salad in the chair. I ask this guy for the manager and he is the manager. I showed him the mess and we left. I really wanted a good place to eat on the west side. But this place is poorly managed and I won’t go back. Instead of a $ 75 to $ 80 dinner we went to Carl’s Jr. And spent $ 15.

It was a very typical steakhouse. Everything we have had was good, and the servers are usually very nice. The prices are a little on the high side but most steakhouses are.

My bf and I came here for dinner around 5pm and there were a lot of people waiting to be seated. We actually didn’t wait no more than 15 minutes and were caught at the bar. The bartender was awesome. Made us laugh for the few minutes we were there. He actually shares the same birthday as my bf and of course it was –according to them the greatest date ever(May 4th) well mine happens to be on Thanksgiving this year.(crickets) Any who, we sat right next to the kitchen which wasn’t too bad, we saw all the yummy dishes coming out. Our waitress Shannon was really attentive and great. She always had a smile on her face which was very delightful. We ordered the artichoke hearts to start. My bf ordered this the first time we had dinner here and I got hooked. It’s a lot of work to eat but if you know what parts to eat it isn’t too bad. Comes with a bbq’d lemon which is squeezed on top of the artichoke and 2 dips that I cannot think of right now but both are tasteful. My bf ordered the 16oz. NY steak medium rare which was too rare for my liking but he enjoyed it. With a wedge salad that was too perfect to eat. I ordered the 8oz. filet mignon butterfly cut medium well with a caesar salad. I ate the whole steak and broccoli that was on my dish. I usually don’t eat my food to it’s entirety unless I’m either starving and haven’t eaten the whole day or it was pretty darn good. It was a combo of both. We enjoyed our dinner experience here and will definitely return for another steak dinner. Maybe we’ll try the seafood next time.

Did not receive good service here and I don’t understand it cause there was hardly anyone there. They didn’t know how to make a snake bite, which was kinda weird. I asked for a new napkin because the one I was first given smelled awful like dirty dishwater, but I never received a new napkin. And the food was sub-par at best. Very disappointed.

Skip it. Gave them a couple of chances. They just drown what they don’t cook well in salt and pepper. Their best items are only average. The service however is excellent. Too bad the chefs are fast food rejects :(

The food, the service, and the birthday singers were outstanding! This place is pricey, just under about $ 100 for two people. However, it was my friend’s birthday, and father’s day for me, so we treated ourselves. And it was a treat. Black Angus is a great go-to place for celebrations or semi-romantic dinners. The place I wanted to take my friend was too far, and it was too late to go. There was nothing else in the area that I could trust, so I chose this… and a fine choice it was. Highly Recommend!

Alright so were here and totally enjoying this beautiful place very clean very well organized a nice layout greeted by :-) faces and nice attitudes and were here to enjoy one of the promotional campfire for two specials and right now we just put our order in for the new from a mignon chili nachos and I could tell you my mouth is watering already it’s really rustic and very cozy in here Everything was super good. The nachos were amazing. The server was great. The prime rib was perfect and I got both types of horseradish. Yummy. Plus we had the campfire meal for two. Where you get an appetizer up to 13.99 plus two meals up to 23.00 each. And deserts. It usually is about 72.00. We got it for 42.00. Wow. Left a big tip for the great service and we are taking home some wonderful memories. Thank you.

We have been to Black Angus on multiple occasions. I’ve had date night here with the wife, we have hit up their happy hour, and even been here with large groups and parties. Overall I’ve had a middle of the road experience, with good also mixed in with the bad. First thing that really stands out was when Black Angus sent me wife to the ER. We had dinner here one night and my wife wanted a desert but it normally comes with nuts. Waitress said it was not a problem to make it without nuts. My wife is highly allergic to all nuts, and when she has a reaction it is extreme. So not sure if they made the desert with nuts and then picked them off, but either way she had a reaction to the desert and ended up going to the ER to be treated. Another time we came with a large party that had reservations. The food took so long to come out that more than half of the people left. I want to say it was over an hour and a majority were still waiting for the food. The steaks are hit or miss. Ordered the top sirloin the other day and it was over cooked and dry. I guess next time I should order medium instead of medium rare. The prime rib has always been pretty good and cooked more to my liking. The lobster tail and shrimp are usually flavorful. Most of the sides are tasty, and one thing that is always pretty awesome is thier bread. My wife absolutely loves it. The bar and happy hour are cool. We have always had a good experience there. Also our waiters are usually friendly and helpful. We will come back? Probably.
