Definitely not the quickest Drive Thru, but they do a great job at making my favorite drink. I love Starbucks

Starbucks needs to purchase watches for their employees so they can sort out that when it says open at 4:30 they should be open. 4:40 and I walk to the door… it’s locked. The employee sees me and makes zero effort to open the door or even let me know he’s at some point going to give a damn. These are the people that want tipped for pulling a handle down to dispense coffee.

The employees are always nice here, but the wait times are sometimes outrageous, the other day I spent 27 minutes in the drive thru. Typically I usually spend at least five to ten minutes in the drive thru at this location.

Cookie-cutter Starbucks facility. My usual interaction takes me through the drive thru. The drinks are on par with all the others. The comfort with Starbucks is that they are all basically the same

I’ve been back recently and they have been really good about getting my order right. They also keep the line moving quickly. There is hope yet for this location.

This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations, and I have always left very satisfied. My accumulative review of this Starbucks is a 5-star rating, which is based on numerous visits that have all been individually worthy of either 4 or 5 stars. Entry to this Starbucks is smooth and easy, regardless of the direction from which you are approaching. I typically approach this Starbucks from the 14 freeway, and then smoothly depart with a delicious beverage in hand. On occasion, I make my visits to this Starbucks extra special by also visiting the In-N-Out Burger across the street. This Starbucks is well-organized, with several sale items of interest for total javaheads like me. ;-) They have an excellent selection of cups and coffees, as well as food items on display. The seating area could be improved, and made to be more comfortable, although I am certain that this would be a little difficult with the somewhat limited space available within this location. The employee work area appears to be extremely well thought out, and enables efficient operation even during extremely busy times. For example, my most recent visit was during one of Starbucks’ rare happy hour events. During this visit the drive-thru was extremely backed-up and the line inside was also almost out the door. Although the lines appeared to be intimidating, this location was well-staffed for the event, and the employees were incredibly efficient, operating like a well-oiled machine. As always, my order was correct, and it was even delivered quickly during this happy hour event. I really wish that the Starbucks chain would decide to have more of these happy hour events, since they are so incredibly enjoyable but rare. If the folks at Starbucks do happen to read this review, please pat yourselves on the backs for a having a friendly staff that is professional and hard-working. I’ll be back, when I’ve gotta get my javahead buzz going again.

The drive thru is quick but my order never seems to come out the way I want it. I always ask for light ice but the cup is still over half full with ice. I wonder how they make the drink so fast, I wonder if they even listen to your customizations. I used a coupon code once and the register wouldn’t take it so they gave me problems. This is the closest location to my work so I come here all the time. The food takes awhile if you’re ordering inside, so allow yourself a good amount of time.

update on my review based on last Friday’s experience only. I went there late morning. It wasn’t busy at all, but for some reason(and maybe I’ve been spoiled) I didn’t get any kind of «good morning» or acknowledgement for quite some time actually, even though there were employees around chatting with each other. I also wanted to speak to the manager and the girl I spoke to really seemed disinterested in what I had to say. Not too impressed — I think it was a new staff, so I’ll give it another try…

This place is near the freeway entrance so it’s very convinient for me. I’ve never had an order made wrong and the employees are always friendly. When I actually do go inside it’s to do homework or research and I always find a good seat. Overall I am satisfied everytime I go.

This Starbucks is ok. Not great but ok. Sometimes the coffee tastes like water. It’s always busy so I’m guessing it’s out of convenience, especially for a commuter.

Nope. Don’t come here. I’m giving it 2 stars because I can’t bring myself to give a Starbucks a too terrible ratting… But come on… Drive threw is ridiculous. I have waited 15minutes behind ONE car that got three drinks. And when I got mine it was melted. Inside is okay, when they aren’t playing around or yelling at each other. It makes me sad because Starbucks is my Disneyland… It makes me happy every time I go… Except this one.

I love starbucks coffee, so i go to this place very often. People working there are good but whenever I order thru drivethru the order is messed up. Otherwise everything is good.

I really like this Starbucks because the service is always consistent. I’ve never had a drink made wrong. I have never struggled to find a seat. And I have never found myself glaring at the baristas. Polite, professional, and accurate. What more could you ask for? I would also like to point out that I wrote this review using their wifi. Not super slow like other places with free wifi. Thanks Star-bees!

Avoid this starbucks. It seems like everyone is undertrained, and not very friendly. Also it is about 50⁄50 they will make a drink right.

I’m giving THIS Starbucks a two but I still really like Starbucks. I only go to this one because it’s between my house and the freeway so I end up there. If given the choice, I would choose another Starbucks. The staff is super rude. When I get a nice one, I’m shocked and tell a manager. If you order inside, your drinks will be sent to the drive through to melt because no one in the drive through will say«Hey, this isn’t mine». Once we waited for ten minutes for a Frappuccino that had been sitting at the window. On that note, the Frappuccino’s are always done wrong. It’s like they’re cutting corners or something because they always taste like ice. No sweetener in your tea? Too bad! Every tea gets sweetener whether you like it or not. But the bathrooms are clean and it’s usually quiet in the mornings…

It was definitely NOT a part of my plan to be ordering a Chai Latte at this particular Starbucks location in the middle of my drive from Bakersfield to Placentia, but then one can’t always plan when the storm of the century is going to dump inches of snow closing the Grapevine and we all need to learn to be a little more flexible if we want to keep the the smiles on our faces genuine. Yes, I was the fool that drove South on I-5 without calling the 1−800-GAS-ROAD number and was surprised to find the Grapevine closed. The recording suggested that I take the 58 East to the 14 South to get me back on my way. Simple enough, but apparently it was not inside information and everybody else travelling South was doing the same thing. Cue 20 – 25 mile per hour all the way up the hill to Tehachapi and even stretching farther East. By the time I finally arrived at this particular Starbucks, I’d been in the car for hours and was — perhaps — a wee bit cranky. I really needed to stretch my legs, use a restroom, and caffeinate myself for the remainder of the trip. I was greeted cheerfully by two of the barristas as I walked in the door and was immediately feeling more positive about the whole evening. I ordered my chai latte(no water) and headed for the spotless restroom. So far, so good. The drink was perfect and delivered with yet another smile and a «have a nice evening.» Which I eventually did once I arrived at my destination after a 7 hour drive that should have taken only 3. Lesson learned, but less painfully than it could have been. Plus, I’m one star closer to earning my next free drink reward. Woohoo!
