Forman mills is an ok store they have plenty of clothes, it’s clothes every where it’s hard to navigate it’s so much stuff and the clothes on the rack are really stuffed on there. All there clothes are really cheap because the clothes they sale are defective. You have to be careful what you buy because you may get the size u wear but when u get home it’s way to small this has happened numerous time. They do have a dressing room. And the clothes from FM do not last long I can pretty much say everything I have bought from here has ripped or came apart especially the underwear and shirts the jeans are alright though. So if your looking for some cheap clothes and accessories come here in sure you will find something it’s a huge selection.

omg this place sucks! i went to get some school uniforms and asked one of the employees where they were. he said ‘they packed them up” then we were walking around and found them. this place has racks on top of racks. you can’t even shop. the place was a mess. the staff was rude as hell! didn’t want to help anyone. there was 5 employees standing in the back by the fitting room talking with each other, cursing, being loud, from the time i walked in not one employee spoke to me. i’m a manager at a retail store. and if any of my employees acted like that to my customers i would be so embarrassed. this company should be ashamed of themselves. don’t shop here.

Good God almighty. Ain’t nobody got time fo dat. I love a good bargain and I’m willing to thrift and dig for deals, but even for ME this was too damn much. There’s not enough time in the day to look through this store and not worth it considering half the shit in there will shred after one washing anyhow.

If you want to get«drowned» by racks and racks of clothes or boxes and boxes of shoes and underwear, come to Forman Mills, an alternative indoor«apparel» park, fun for your entire family. There’s not much going on in Lansing, Illinois, a far south side Chicago suburb close to the Indiana border. Paces are much slower than what you would see in the city. As long as the business is still running smoothly and efficiently, there won’t be much for me to critique on. By the way, if you have items purchased from different stores since Forman Mills(FM) is located within the shopping plaza shared with Burlington Coat Factory, Rainbow, Anna’s Linen, Carson’s Clearance Center, and Ultra Foods, leave those items in your vehicle before proceeding to FM. Otherwise, you would have to check in with the security guard at the entrance. After figuring out which side the entrance was(the right side), I was on my way exploring. The store was large, but with the majority of square footage occupied by a ton of shipment that sales associates were processing, customers didn’t have much room to manuver. There were a few work-appropriate blouses, dress pants, and blazers that were pretty budget-friendly. The rest of the selections was catered to clientele who might be fond of urban wear, such as crop tops, joggers, and other stuff with an emphasis of «showing your swagger, ya’ll!» I wish some of men’s caps were able to fit my head. They’ve got some cool-looking«Chi-town» caps and hats and prices were better than what you would find at Lid’s or other sportswear retailers. Ok, Miss Rosa’s attempt to «stylin” didn’t work out, but she found two(2) basic built-in bra camisoles. Speaking of wardrobe basics and essentials, FM had massive selections on boxers, trunks, thermals, and socks(mostly the Fruit of the Loom brand). The prices were reasonable and competitve to the«Mr. WM» and«Ms. T.» Well, I witnessed a ton of hot messes here at the check-out. I didn’t think all of the holding-up contributed to the cashier’s inability to operate the POS system. Nevertheless, she should have learned how to change the register tape without asking for upper management’s assistance. It’s a common sense that if a debit or credit card is swept for a purchase, a photo ID is required. The young man who was in front of me didn’t have any photo identification on him. By law, you are subject to be detained by any law enforcement officer if you cannot be identified. As a result, another manager had to come to resolve this issue. The other issue was caused by a missing sku on one of the«Fruit of the Loom» underwear the young man purchased. The cashier had to conduct a sku check in order to have this item rung up. The young man’s friend was slightly annoying and didn’t understand the situation even though the cashier thoroughly explained the reason why a wait was involved. In the end, all issues were cleared, and finally it was my turn. I could see the cashier was semi-exhausted at 1130 hour on a Thursday. On the other hand, the customer service had their hands full as well. I hollered the security who checked my belonging in. That part went much quicker than the check-out glitch I experienced. FM is a mediocre place to shop in my opinion, if you can somewhat«ignore» the surroundings and«overlook» all the customer issues. Turn your attention to the in-store music then; they played awesome 90’s R&B. You can jam off all your worries and insecurities!

I will never shop at this store again. At the last minute I found out that my son needed a specific shirt for running track the next day. We went there looking for it and found one that was a bit tight on him so we didn’t get it. We went several to other stores and wasn’t able to find it. We decided to go back to Foreman Mills to get the one we saw. We got there about 5 minutes before closing and the doors were locked already. An employee came to the door and said he would talk to the manager about letting us in. She came to the door and was very rude to us saying that Foreman Mills goes by their own time. I explained to her that I knew what I wanted where it was and I would be in line before the people in line were done. Again she said that they that they run on their own time and refused to let us in. With customer service like that I’m surprised she still has a job. I’ll never go back to that store again.

Came here one day during one of those spur of the moments. It is a great big warehouse sized store. There are clothing racks that take up the whole floor. Clothes and clothes and anything you might need with any size you might need. They have purses, wallets, shoes, house stuff like towels, shower accessories. You name it, they probably have it. I didn’t get a chance to really look around, because someone was rushing me, and I absolutely hate being rushed while I’m trying to look at stuff. But from what I saw, it is similar to a Marshall’s or TJ Maxx, but even cheaper. They sell brand name clothing but I guess they are irregular sizes. But hey, the price of clothes these days are ridiculous, especially for brand named items. I’m not really into brand names, but more of if it fits and I’m comfortable, I’ll buy it. LOL. This store was way out in Lansing. I didn’t know there was one closer until my brother-in-law said he had went to one by his mom’s house. So of course I googled it and it’s right there! I wouldn’t go out to Lansing for this store, but I would definitely go to the one that is a lot closer to me. Perhaps I will go alone next time so I can actually take my time and not feel pressured! I did buy a super cute wallet. I was looking at the purses, real nice purses too. Well the wallet I bought is kind of big for my purse, so after we left, I realized I should have bought a bigger purse too! Another reason to go back! YAY! BTW. My wallet was $ 5 and purses range from $ 10-$ 30. Different styles and colors.

This is a great store! Lots of cute trendy clothes and GREAT prices! The store is huge, it’s the old Toys R Us and they are using every inch of space. Of course these kind of stores do tend to bring out ALL kinds and it can get crowded. My suggestion is to go early and on a weekday if you can. That way you can look and shop in peace.
