The absolute worst bagel I have ever tried to eat. One bite and I threw it out. Sold as fresh and was at least a day old. Had the appearance of a flatted out stale donut. Donuts are not bagels and bagels are not donuts. I would never stop here again. I don’t trust them selling day old products as fresh.

The«New» part is the problem here. I used to be a regular at this place, then I moved away for two years. When I returned I was so excited to visit Daily Bagel that I knew and loved but what a sad disappointment when I walked through the door to see that it was nothing like it used to be. At 9:30 a.m. the place should have been bustling with patrons. The place used to be packed and always on the move. My daughter and I were the only two people in the place, which says a lot to me. But I wanted to give it a chance, so I ordered my usual everything bagel with cream cheese. The everything bagel had very little«everything» on it, and it did not taste fresh. It didn’t have a good texture, and there were little particles in it — as if they used some corn meal in with the white flour. It wasn’t good. The bagels used to be delicious but that is no longer the case and I won’t return under this ownership.

good place to catch a cheep breakfast on the way to the library or before an exam. big apple is way better then them, but they are better then bruggers. bottom line you could do a lot worse in downtown Lansing trying to grab a bite to eat before going to put in a long day at the library. try the egg and cheese bagel on several of their fresh bagels

I just love this place. The owner is extremely nice and if he doesn’t know you by name, he remembers you by face. This is the first place that I had cheddar bacon cream cheese and it was great. The bagels are great. The sandwiches are even better. And they sell breakfast sandwiches now so that’s a plus. All around great place.

Bagel Review: Good bagels in Lansing? Who knew? I heard a whisper that there was a fine bagel to be found next door to the client site I was visiting. Unfortunately, right now the front is entirely encased in scaffolding. Do not let that stop you. Bagels are a just a fraction of what is available — they serve a wide range of breakfast and lunch items including coffee and espresso drinks, croissants, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, soups, sandwiches, subs, wraps, salads and desserts. They also cater. Service was prompt and friendly. The next closest good bagel is probably in Chicago. Go to the New Daily Bagel if you’re in Lansing. I know I’ll be back next time I’m in town.
