Outstanding chicken and service, highly recommend.

Not impressed. At all. So, i mistakenly walked into this restaurant rather than the other restaurant a couple doors down. And only figured out I was at the wrong place at the end of my meal. oops. We started off with the papas relleno. It was very nicely presented, but as my husband and i were sharing this as an appetizer they could of provided small plates. I had to get up and get them myself, because as soon as the waiter dropped off the food, he was no where to be found. I cut open the potato, and it was filled with lots of goodies. First bite, cold. Second bite, warmer. Overall, cold starter that was advertised as fried. Again, waiter no where to be found… and we were hungry. It’s a small restaurant, not sure where all the people that were behind the counter when we first came in, disappeared to. Ordered the Lomo Saltado and Mixed Fried seafood basket. The seafood basket came out first and was served to my husband. It looked fresh, and it was warm. The mussels were absolutely disgusting. They over fried them, and there was absolutely no meat inside. VILE! The shrimp, calamari rings(only rings), Fish, and fried yucca were decent. The tarter sauce was also really tangy and tasty. After 7 minutes of my husband eating his food, my lomo saltado dish was served… finally. It came out warm, with rice, fries, and tomatoes and onions. the steak was tasty. Ive had better, but compared to what my husband got, it was better. I understand I went to the rotissarie portion of this restaurant. Probably should of ordered chicken. But Maybe, i should of noticed I was in the wrong place! Lots of things were wrong here. Food was meh. Service was pretty bad. The waiter never checked up on us, I had to track him down for water refills. mind you, we were the only people in the restaurant. Probably will never return. I thought the place in Boca was going down hill, so we took a gamble up to Lantana to try something new. This place makes Boca looks like a gem… ill stick to what I know locally. Boca food is much better and tastier, better ambiance. Partially this review is negative bc the food was lacking, the service sucked, and atmosphere was poor.

Great place. Good service. The drinks are a little steep compared to the price of the food. The chicken had such great seasoning. It was so delicious. The rice was bland but when mixed with the chicken it was great. Definitely need to try it again. UPDATE– Bland rice only happened that first visit. The rice I’ve been getting the last two times have a great light seasoning on it. Definitely recommended.

I was going to Victoria’s Peruvian cuisine and found out they were closed for remodeling so I decided to try their sister restaurant, Victoria’s Rotisserie Chicken at the other end of the plaza. The menu there had items that are quick to be made after you order. I ordered the ceviche de pescado, causa de atun and the anticuchos. The ceviche was a little smaller than I thought it would be but it was still delicious. It was served with peruvian corn and a sweet potato. The causa(mash potatoes and tuna salad) was pretty good. And the anticuchos(cows heart) came out cooked perfectly. Very tender. Served with Peruvian corn and sweet potato and roasted potato. The setting is casual and you order at a register and wait for your food. They have indoor and outdoor seating and TVs inside the restaurant.

Love of the Peruvian cuisine was told by my in-laws this was by war the best Peruvian Rotisserie chicken in South Florida. Well after ceviche and Anticuchos I would say rotisserie peruvian chicken is my next favorite dish. Well pretty much this is the deal we ordered two chickens they com with two sides which we pick fries, salad, rice and yuca frita. Also ordered an oder of salchipapas(nothing but more fries and sausage) and an order of Anticuchos(cow heart grilled on a stick). The food was really, really good with the exception of the Anticuchos, those were a little bit over cocked and that dried the meat and made it a little bit chewy which makes it a little bit difficult since the heart is a muscle and the meat is a little bit tough no matter what. The place is almost 7 tables the most, reason why we had to wait about 30 min. However, thanks to the food was worth it. Service wise?! Not so well, we had two teenagers as servers I never knew which one actually our server. I ask for Aji(hot sauce) about 4 times until I was almost done with my meal I got it. We were never asked/served more drinks, luckily I didn’t get the hot sauce so I didn’t need much my drink lol. Overall good place, ok service I don’t know if would take the drive all the way to Lantana to eat there again. Maybe if I’m around and have a few hours to spare I do it, otherwise is don’t go out of you way to go there.

If you are looking for a badass Peruvian rotisserie chicken, this is the place to go! The last time I went to Peru was over 15 years ago, yet I can still taste the rotisserie chicken you can find on the streets in Lima, and this chicken is pretty close to the real thing. My family and I went on a Saturday at 3:30pm, and while we thought it would be empty, we forgot the fact that most Hispanics have lunch after 2:00pm so we did have to wait for a little while. We were famished, and some were HANGRY, but the wait was well worth it. We ordered very simple dishes, but everything was right on point. We got 2 chickens with side of fries, salad, fried yucca and maduros… I mean if that does not sound like the best meal ever, then I don’t know what to say lol On top of that, we got the«Choripapa» which is a basket of fries with chorizo and dipping sauces. Of course, as if that wasn’t enough, we got dessert, and while I was on the verge of exploding, I am so glad we did! This time we got a Peruvian staple called Picarones, which is a dough made with sweet potatoes, sugar and anise, and formed into a ring, which looks a look like an onion ring. And just like onion rings, this pastry is fried and then soaked in a honey/molasses sauce made with sugarcane. I was literally the happiest camper after that meal, because it brought me straight back to Peru. This place is easily an hour drive from my house, but I don’t care. I will keep going as much as I can!!!

The quality of the food is what saves this place. But the service itself is what kills the experience. The staff is super slow. And they bring out the food in spares so by the time the main dish comes out everything is cold. They and if you want something extra or left off they won’t do it. Being Peruvian myself I expected more from this place. If it was just me I’d get it but I saw other tables having the same problem.

There is a confusion having both the Peruvian restaurant and the chicken joint separated. You can get some dishes from the restaurant menu at the chicken joint but you can’t get the chicken in the restaurant. The chicken joint is a strip mall place with big screen TVs and cramped smaller tables but it’s not uncomfortable. You order at the counter but the counter people will give table service like bringing drinks and ferrying food to your table. The counter guy when I was there was very cordial and attentive. The chicken was a hit!!! A total grand slam!!! So tasty and delicious it’s impossible to not eat everything in front of you. The 3 sauces in the table are freaking fabulous. I was mixing them and mixing in some rice and beans too what a terrific meal. Although atmosphere is lacking the food was fantastic and the prices are very fair. I know where I’m going next time I get back to Lantana!

The best place in PBC to get fresh and juicy Peruvian rotisserie chicken and many other favorites(salchipapas, antichuchos, choros a la chala, and pancitas). Finish it off with alfajores. yum!

Excelente lugar para comer un rico pollo a la brasa o unos anti cuchos con pancita, y la papa rellena ni que hablar.
