As an El Pasoan I love coming to this area every time I visit. This time I decided to check out a few wineries and this was our first stop. I had some winery newbies with me(my moms and boyfriend) and they were skeptical of how this could be fun. And dang, were they surprised! Driving up to this place I appreciated the ample parking and we walked right in. I was happy that even on a Tuesday afternoon there were several tables having lunch. The three of us got the 5 for $ 5 tasting and we ordered the cheese plate and melon with prosciutto. It was fantastic! The cheese plate and melon wrapped prosciutto were delicious and both had a generous portion. The cheese plate had two hard cheeses and two soft and were served with breadsticks my boyfriend could not stop munching. The cantaloupe was cut into slices and well wrapped and made for easy snacking. My boyfriend said the Malvec was smooth without being too overbearing. My mom loved the Conquistador’s bold flavor and I was a huge fan of the sweet Muscato. We loved the way it was served and it paid well with our snacks. My only complaint about this place is that the service could have been better. We had to wait around to check out and the waitress didn’t seem too knowledgable about the food, wine, or engage us in any way. She did check on us a few times, just not very personable.

Very good food. Hidden gem in this town and quite comparable to real Italian food. Would highly recommend to any of my friends. Air conditioner was a little too strong and had to get a jacket but… as summer progresses that will be a good thing.

We were promptly seated then ignored for 15 – 20 minutes. A waitress was even told by another patron that we hadn’t been helped. The staff proceeded to ignore us, so we left. From the looks of it we’re not the only ones this has happened to.

Sat down for 15 min with multiple people walking by without even a glance … So we left.

At the suggestion of their winery in Deming, we decided to give the pizzeria a try on our visit through Law Cruces. After a long day of driving, we were not disappointed in the least. After starting off with a caprese salad, we shared a good pizza from their wood-fired oven and a great bottle of wine, topped off with the homemade gelato. The food was wonderful, the wine superb. After an initial lengthy delay in getting water or any service(though it was a very busy Friday evening), our server was then quite attentive. Overall a very enjoyable evening. We would certainly return if in the area.

Okay, slow service. They did not mention their wine tasting 5 for 5 so we ordered a bottle. Then they forgot my mother’s day cake. So we had some delicious thai food from Thai Delight.

Atmosphere, service, food, drinks and live entertainment! All of this while sitting outside on an enclosed patio enjoying the evening! The food tastes awesome! Wood fire oven baked pizza, nice thin crust with very tasty toppings!(The spicy salami is SPICY)! Highly recommend the pasta al pollo! Very nice flavor! Great portions as well! We had bruschetta for an appetizer and it was served nice and fresh! The live music is tasteful and not overpowering in volume. We have even did a 2 step on the patio The service is friendly and attentive, without being a pest. They allow you time to converse and eat but ensure your glass is never empty. Ya gotta try the crème brûlée’! Think we have found a new favorite spot in Las Cruces!

Great little winery in NM; wines are good, salads too, but mostly pastas… we stopped by and took out and the pizza is pretty good!!! Thin crust with many topping options

Born and raised in Cruces this place is AMAZING! Their wine is MUCH better than St. Clair’s and their pizza is delicious! They use(double 0) 00 Caputo flour which is truly authentic Italian pizza dough. Everything we have ordered there we have enjoyed, from the antipasti to the tomato caprese salad. I make it a point to visit this restaurant every time I’m in town. My husband and I really love the $ 50NM Nebbiolo, totally worth the splurge if you love a super dry red. Super dry. Love it! Keep on keeping on and we’ll see you soon ;)

Came here for the pizza and left disappointed. Right when we walked in we didn’t feel welcomed, staff was rude and our waitress wasn’t very attentive. The salad was good but the pizza was average, it tasted like a pizza you could get at little Caesars. I’d rather go to Zeffiros on university instead of pay for over priced pizza.

Had the Nini red wine $ 20 per bottle. A terrific local wine as good as a chianti Classico. Nice atmosphere, great service, good location.

First, I have to comment on the great, friendly service. We showed up close to closing time and were seated with a smile and we were not rushed. Super friendly wait staff. Very clean place. And food is really good. The house salad was fresh and tasty with feta and dried cranberries and pecans and a perfect vinaigrette(not sweet). Calzone was huge with lots of cheese and fillings and tasty marinara. And you can’t beat 5 wine tastings for $ 5. We tried 10 wines and thought all were good. We are from CA and drive through Las Cruces every time we drive to Texas to see family. This was our second visit. Won’t be our last.

Well… We go fairly often. Their pizzas are fantastic. Great thin crispy crust, what I think is fresh mozzarella, not the semi-dry that most places use, and first class genuine Italian meats. But tonight was a little bit of a stumble. The problem was the service. We had to almost tackle the waitress to get her attention. All we were looking for was drink refills. We didn’t see the waitress, so wife tried to get the hostess’ attention as she walked by. Spoke to hostess three times with no answer, then wife had to touch hostess’ arm! Told her we needed drink refills, but we didn’t get them. Still kept looking for waitress. Food was great, as usual, but a little retraining on customer service might be appropriate.

It’s clear the people who gave this place a rating above 2 stars have no taste for good food. I had a pizza they call the«American» and my company had the«Hawaiian». First off I had no idea that an American pizza was restricted to pepperoni and cheese. Just an example of the narrow minds that manage this place. Furthermore the amount of toppings on a pizza approximately twelve inches diameter were sparse. I counted 14 pepperoni chips… you do the math. The crust was hard as brick where there were no toppings or sauce, soggy and paper thin where there were toppings and sauce. The sauce was like water and tasted like it with a touch of tomato acid for accent. Two dollars for iced tea is steep. And no ice to be seen anywhere in the glass. Even when it was refilled I had to ask for ice. I’ll never go back.

Abstract: Disclaimer: this review is not about their wine, because I did not have any. It is about the restaurant itself. Good food, nice atmosphere. Atmosphere: This restaurant is a nice looking Spanish style building. There is outdoor seating and indoor seating. The indoor décor looked nice and clean with a warm wood feeling to it. The outdoor seating has semi-uncomfortable metal chairs. We chose to sit outside as the sun was setting at the time and there was a decent view to the west. It was busy at the time we chose but there was seating available inside, we had about a 10 – 15 minute wait because we wanted to be seated outside. The noise from the patrons inside was too loud for our tastes and it was even loud outside. Product: I ordered a pizza with green chilis and prosciutto. It was good, better then mass market pizza. It wasn’t exceptional though. Service: Friendly service from the greeter, the man who sat us and the server. Conclusion: I would say that if you live in the area or are traveling, like we were, it is a place to check out.

I went to dinner with a friend recently, we ordered a pizza with prosciutto and a chicken pesto Panini, I had a glass of their house Chardonnay. The prices are fairly reasonable and the service was great. I’m a fan of wood fired pizza so I will return. There’s a large outdoor patio which I’ll try once the temperature cools off.

Great stop from the travel for some lunch and a glass of wine. Food and pizza I found to be very good, Im not sure why people are so critical of their pizza. I tried all of their wines before settling on one that I really liked and had a nice afternoon lunch. The drawback on this place is how loud it is inside, they need a few more things on the wall/ceiling to absorb the noise and make it a bit more tolerable. This place will become a staple stop on this route!

Delicious! We come here a lot, on avg every other month and at time will«travel» from Alamogordo to here just for lunch or dinner. Their pizza is thin, flavorful and always spot on and We usually get the chicken al polo as well. The gelato just take your pick at the myriad of flavored offered. Staff is always nice, pleasant and prompt. Pricing is very reasonable, no more than any other chain like restaurant except here it’s freshly made with fresh ingredients. Their wine is pretty good also, but we enjoy the food more. Outside patio and our pooches can sit here with us with no problems.

We picked this spot to eat at with family from out of town based off of Unilocal reviews. Some big pros for us were the 5 $ wine sampler and the gelato. Also they were open later on a Sunday than other places in Las Cruces. Our party also had the pizza, pasta, and panini’s. There were no complaints about the food or the service we received. I would recommend this spot if your in the area and in the mood for good Italian food.

Road tripping and hungry brought us here. We didn’t want to go home hungry so we excited as uncle it’s just right off the I-10. Ordered the Sicilian pizza(it had an Italian name) and the pollo salad. The pizza is outstanding! Perfect think and crunchy crust, solid flavors. The cheese perfectly melted and the Sicilian sausage stated very good. My salad was a bit sad with good housing dressing and a little chicken, peppers and onions that is a little oily. The flavor was good, it was a bit oily for me. The Riesling however is amazing for $ 5 a glass. For dessert we had gelato! Yum! Had the salted caramel and the caramel pecan. Caramel pecan is the bomb! Perfect ending for a good meal. Patio is dog friendly so bring fido with yah!
