Since my previous review they seem to have re-thought the lack of electric outlets. I am here frequently because of its location and gave not had the horror stories reported by others. It still meets what I expect of a Starbucks.

Worst Starbucks service ever. Waited 10 minutes with no line to get order. Adam never put my breakfast sandwich in. No organization. Poor service.

This Starbucks is a complete disaster. They are so disorganized it is really sad. I have avoided this location for months because of this. Today I stopped by out of convenience, I am sorry I did. Two seemingly idle baristas passed me without taking my order. A few minutes later, one took my order and looked really stressed out with a garbage bag in his hand. After taking my coffee to the station to get cream and sugar, I find they are out of sugar as well as half and half. That station as well as the tables I passed on the way, were outrageously filthy. I had to flag down a barista(out of five of them) to get sugar and half and half. It turns out they only have sugar in the raw. I mean this very seriously: this location should be shut down and a new one should be built from scratch somewhere nearby. I say this not only from this experience I am describing today but also the many similar past experiences I had with this location when it was my primary Starbucks. For years this location was great, but about a year or so ago everything changed as quick as the flip of a light switch. They must have had a change of management at that time. Stay away from this Starbucks, go to the one on University Ave instead.

Worst Starbucks in town. They are constantly cutting corners yet somehow still painfully slow. My drink is made incorrectly more times than not if the barista even knows what it is(starbucks double shot, it’s on the menu board…) It’s obvious they only care about their drive-thru times and not about making great drinks or providing the iconic starbucks customer service. There can be 15 cars in the drive thru and no one inside but if you order your drink inside you will still not get your drink before all 15 of those cars(even though all but 4 of them are still waiting in line to even order). This is the closest coffee shop to my work so it’s convenient for me to go here, thus making it that much more upsetting that it’s so bad. If I have the time I will go to any other place in town. But if I’m desperate and short on time I’ll swing by here. Since they can’t get a crafted beverage correct I will order an iced coffee instead. They literally just have to pour it from a pitcher… it’s all pre made. I usually have cream and sugar in it but I feel like that’s pretty standard since they ask you if you want it in there without you asking first. Can’t screw that up right? Wrong. This place can. I went through the drive through, asked for an iced coffee sweetened with cream and that’s it. Pulled up to the window, paid, and was handed what looked like a cup full of straight cream. I mean, this thing was WHITE! No sign of coffee in this bad boy. I said wow, that’s a lot of cream. The girl in the window said«oh, is it? Have a good day!» I awkwardly asked if I could get it without so much cream to which she was visibly not happy about. I felt bad even though I feel like I didn’t do anything wrong? The drink was literally not drinkable. It was straight cream… if it was milk I would have just went with it since I feel awkward in that situation. The window shut and I saw there awkwardly. 2 seconds later the window opens and a man is standing there and says«can you drive around and park and we’ll bring your drink out to you?» Reminder: to make the drink you pour liquid from a as pitcher into a cup and that’s it. I say, oh… but there’s no one behind me? The car behind me was still at the speaker ordering? It’s not like I was holding anyone up. He then says, «I know, but it really helps us with the drive thru times. Thanks!» And the window shuts again. I was shocked at this. I literally felt like I was an inconvenience to them for even being there. I mean, drive thru times should be a representation of the store, but they straight up tell me to move so they can manipulate the times. Since I’m left ignored at the window and not wanting to piss them off anymore, I swing around and park. To make it easy on them I go inside so they don’t have to come out to the parking lot. I walk inside and 2 of the baristas are having some sort of whipped cream fight or something? They are chasing eachother around trying to wipe something on eachother. The other baristas were just ignoring them. I’m standing back a little just waiting and the woman at the café register asks how she can help me. I tell her I was asked to pull around and she asks what I ordered I tell her. She then walks over to the little fridge, pulls out the pitcher and makes me my drink in about 30 seconds. Extremely poor service. Cheats the system to make themselves appear like they are performing well. go to one of the other 4 starbucks’ in town.

So… after giving up on the Starbucks on Lohmann, I came here for my caffeine fix. Ordered my café Americana with cream. Drive thru only had one car, in and out in less than five min. Super nice staff every time I come here, either drive thru or walk in. Great job!

Ordered two different frapps. Both tasted really watery and gross. I do not recommend spending your money here.

So looking toward my morning coffee for the drive back to Dallas. They made a hot drink when iced was ordered and they forgot the milk in my iced hazelnut coffee. Paid $ 8.00 for things I did not want. Ended up going to McDonald’s down the street to get my coffee right.

Just did a quick trip through the drive-thru as I was getting back on the road for another day of driving. Always great to start my day with Starbucks. I have been here before on a prior trip in the past. Staff was friendly and helpful, order was correct. Overall, just what I expect from Starbucks.

Although I am a Starbucks devotee, this location has had problem making my lattes hot enough sometimes or holding back most of the foam other times so that I get half a drink. I go every day to one of the other locations and have never had either problem.

This has to be the slowest drive thru for all the Starbucks that I have been to. The other locations in Las Cruces are much faster. The Chai Tea Latte was flavorless, but the frapucinnos were good. It has much work to do to get up to the level of a typical Starbucks.

I agree with the drive-thru service! They are the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever been to! Never once have they got my order right the first time… I always have to repeat. I’m only here a few months… thank goodness!

Nice sized Starbucks with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Pastry case was fully stocked in the late afternoon– the marshmallow dream bar is a definite must have.

So, this is within walking distance of my work so I go here a lot. It’s Starbucks — the coffee chain we love and love to hate. Good: Drive Thru. Bad: There is one particular girl who works the drive thru that you have to repeat your order to five times and then when you get to the window she hands you the wrong drink, and is, in general a hot mess. I also tried to call ahead one morning(I was a block away and I work a block away from them) and they were all rude and, like, «We don’t take phone orders.» I don’t think Howard Behar would be impressed.

I like Starbucks and it is nice and convenient to my house. I like that it has a nice sitting area. I would like to have the breakfast sandwich there some time if they would start serving there.

What can I say, it’s Starbucks, overpriced, too much foam, too little coffee, but there and handy when you just HAVE to have a decent cup. However, I will only order a regular coffee and add my own ingredients. Everything else is expensive foam.

I am not in the habit of writing Starbucks reviews. I usually try to locate an independent coffeehouse but I wind up at Starbucks because I can find them… That being said, I had to review this particular Starbucks because right here, just off the Avenida de Mesilla* in Las Cruces, New Mexico you will find the friendliest Starbucks staff ever. EVER! Like a ray of sunshine they were. THEYWERE! LIKESUNSHINE! *disclaimer-this entire review may have been concocted in order to use the words«Avenida do Mesilla».
