When you say your open and have an out of towner coming back home for a visit then you’re not, I won’t come back and give it a second chance. I loath Starbucks and I shop local every where I go so Millargo has a new customer!

WOW. Absolutely amazing! A delightful couple I met told me there was a coffee shop here in town that serves not only great coffee, but at an actual morning coffee time! They open at SEVENAM! Yay! I used to stop at quite subpar locations for coffee because I work at 7:45. Not only is Beck’s Coffee conveniently located, it’s also absolutely outrageous! The service was delightful, the coffee is… I can’t say enough… it is pour over, fresh fresh FRESH and SOOOOOSMMOOOTH and hot! The coffee I had this morning was roasted in house, either the night before or the same morning, and not then stored in an airpot to oxidize and take on an «old» flavor. I purchased 2 large coffees,(was provided a choice of roasts) and had a wide variety of organic oatmeals –got the goji blueberry(YUM!) and left with 40 oz of wicked brew and a hot oatmeal with soy. I spent 15 dollars, which included a 4 dollar tip. :-D I am already planning a return trip today and just introduced it to several co-workers, all who commented on the delicious fragrance in the office. GOTOBECK’S if you actually enjoy coffee. Forget the rest, this is the best!!! THANKYOU Beck’s!!! new Loyal customer with referrals to follow.

Pour over coffee done right. This place is nice and cozy. It’s a great place to relax. They have books you can pick up and read. There is a record player that you’re more than welcome to use. The barista is very friendly and knows a lot about the coffee blends.

I’m visiting my grandmother, who is not a coffee drinker. I try to avoid Starbucks as much as possible, so I wanted to find a good local coffee shop. After reading good reviews on here, I wanted to check it out. The cold brew was excellent! I got it over easy ice and added a little of the caramel and vanilla syrups they provide at no extra cost. The barista was super friendly. She let me add a touch of soy milk, for no added cost! Needless to say, I will be back before I go home.

They just added ICEDTEAS to their menu — woohoo! So glad they did this cuz it’s getting really hot. The place is easy to miss since their street sign is back from the road a little bit, and about the same height as trees on either side which block it until you’re like 10 feet away. Don’t worry, it’s worth looking for. Definitely the old school«mom and pop» style shop(so happy to support local biz). Their own style, decoration, natural wood everywhere. Community boards. Books for borrowing. Magazines galore. A couple couches, a nice big table for sprawling out and studying or working. I get a lot done at that big table. They pick out great beans, and roast right there in the shop(beware if you go here while they’re roasting, the caffeine permeates through the air and into your pores, seriously! You will get mega caffeinated).

Other places may have a bigger menu of coffee and chai beverages but this place wins me over for its ambiance. This is the café for chilling out over coffee(or chai or tea) and a book. The location is an old house. It’s sunny and quiet indoors and they have outdoor seating facing a park across the street. A very happy discovery.

Just stopped by for my first time and got an over pour of the Bee’s Knees blend with a blueberry muffin from the Green Door Bake Shop. I’m very satisfied and impressed. The shop is dark and quiet which is nice. The barista was very sweet and down to earth. I will definitely be visiting again to buy in bigger quantities. Thanks for the lovely experience.

Beck’s Café boasts that they are the only pour over coffee shop in Las Cruces. Not a bad title and not bad coffee either. I got their cold brew and it was good. Not really a shop I would go to and study or even hang out to be honest. The place is quaint and a decent location but not as warming as I would like. The barista was nice and helpful for sure! I suggest at least stopping here for some coffee if you get the chance.

Call first and make sure that they are planning to be open if you want to go there; since the store is essentially run by the husband-and-wife who own the place, if they can’t be there, they will shut the coffee shop early. Becks is a great place to hang out if you have a friend that you need to have a conversation with, but if you’re going there to read, be aware that they rely too much on natural light; it’s not a comfortable reading spot for anyone without great vision, early or late.

The owner of the shop was super nice!!! I had a cold brew(coming from Cali, I thought I’d never find that around here!) and it was really mellow and delish! Hubbs had the iced Dirty Chai and it was fantastic! Can’t wait to come back when they are fully operational and try their other creations!
