The BEST Starbucks in town. The manager(Jessica Lynn) always interacts with the customers and makes you feel welcome. Her employees always want to remember your name and quality is paramount. This store was recently updated with current furnishings and plenty of plug-ins and comfy seating inside and out.

I’m not sure if Starbucks just thinks they’re above posting their hours, but it’s really annoying to have no idea what time they open and close each day. I work crazy early in the morning, and I liked that they are also open crazy early. However, come a holiday and you’ll have no idea if they’re even open or what time they plan on opening because they don’t post their hours. Tried to visit on Easter morning, since I work holidays, and the door was locked but there were employees behind the counter. I tried knocking on the door to see if they just forgot to unlock the door, and they looked at me blankly and continued working. Gee… thanks. Since there were no holiday hours posted, I had no idea what time to come back. I e-mailed their corporate office because I’m annoyed, and I got a «sorry we weren’t open» e-mail back. Yeah, I wasn’t mad they weren’t open, I was mad I couldn’t figure out when they were open. Big difference.

Not sure if they’re usually understaffed or if it’s always busy inside, but this is the SLOWEST Starbucks drive thru in existence. Even if no one is in front of you, it takes forever to get a basic order that typically takes no more than 5 min at any other Starbucks location. Too bad, because it’s a convenient location.

This is one of those Starbucks locations that you’ll say«Hey, that’s cute» upon first impression. The outside has plenty of outdoor seating along the patio, and the drive-thru seems to be the major highlight of this location. Albeit, this drive-thru gets exceptionally busy, so it may also seem to be slow at times. The interior has a decent amount of seating. Not terribly big, yet not too small either. There is comfortable seating on the side closest to the barista counter that is preferred, yet doesn’t have power outlets within the walls closeby. One of the baristas told me that this had something to do with the city codes at the time of this location’s remodel. The baristas are pretty cool here. They seem to engage customers in how their day is going, which is nice to see. One even asked when I got to Las Cruces for business, to which I told her that I arrived ten minutes ago, and made this location my first stop. A good moment between the two of us. Since the drive-thru wraps around the building, it would be advisable to take caution when backing out of the parking lot.

So slow in the drive thru… After waiting for five minutes, and still not reaching the drive-through order kiosk I gave up and left. Line of cars had to be twelve deep at least. Bad reflection on the Starbucks brand.

Went in with what I thought to be a very simple order. Venti green tea &2 chocolate cake pops. First I received my «cake pops» which ended up being one chocolate chip cookie and one cake pop. We tried to get the associates attention, who was serving food. She wouldn’t look up or acknowledge us. We went up to the person who took or order and he acknowledged it, and apologized and owned up to it. He fixed it and even gave us the cookie, which was a good gesture. But then we spent 10 min waiting & waiting for my tea. When I realized ppl who ordered after us kept leaving, we went up and asked where my simply made tea was. No one knew. The guy who took my order, didn’t even look up or acknowledge what was going on. He messed up again, and couldn’t even own up or apologize. The barista who attended us said sorry and made it fast. Overall I just feel like the guy named, roger needs to pay closer attention. We just wanted to get on the road and ended up spending longer than 20 min vs drive thru…

So slow. I really hope you’re not in a hurry to get to work because you are going to be late. I am not sure why it takes 10 minutes to make 3 drinks, but unfortunately it does.
