Service is always great here. The food is also very good but I mainly go for the service — nice patio and lots of room if you have a big party.

Food ok. Ribs were bad I wouldn’t order again. Not sure what I would order next time. My lady had some pork tacos which were decent but defiantly not worth $ 15. The Monday margarita for $ 5 was ok but super small. I would be upset at $ 8 regular price. I may come back for beer. But food. No good. Ambiance and the Vegas dressed scantly glad servers was good. Excellent location, Mesilla Mall is right next door. Ambiance is geared towards younger generation, my husband and I are in our 30’s and felt right at home. My husband had the prime rib sandwich, he basically licked the plate clean. I had the fish and chips, it was very bland– absolutely no taste. The garlic fries were really good, though. Didn’t try any brews, but they had a huge selection.

One of our favorite restaurants in Las Cruces, great location and terrific menu. The back patio offers an amazing view of the New Mexico sunset. The sports bar has a completely different vibe; it’s a classier upgrade over the surrounding chain-food establishments and a great place to watch a game or just get a little positive energy after a long day at work.

This was a wonderful restaurant in Las Cruces. Our waiter, William(aka Willis) was so attentive. He was terrific. He gave great suggestions and the food was wonderful. We had the pork ribs, short rib dinner, and green chile stew. It was terrific. Had no idea Las Cruces had such a place. Don’t miss this gem. And ask for Willis

Excellent stuffed hatch green chilies. It is our third visit in three days. Bread is made using leavings from the wort used in their micro brews.

A huge restaurant with a pretty nice vibe. The appetizer plate of cheese, olives and chocolate Covered berries is great. The blueberry cheese is to die for! We had a variety of dishes in our Party and all were good… not great… but very good. The service was great and I would return if I were ever in Las Cruces to give them another shot because I really liked the vibe and friendly staff.

Probably the nicest restaurant in town. Very good food. On the pricier said, but worth it. Sit on the outside patio if it’s a nice day.

Fish tacos were much better before this new menu. Previous fish tacos had a delicious cabbage slaw and the tortillas were of a blue corn variety, hardy! The tortillas for the new ones tasted stale on edges and split in middle when I picked up my tacos, plus there wasn’t much to go with them in terms of toppings: just pickled onions and sauces. The slaw in the past was so good and really made the taco seem like a «complete» dish; consider bringing it back or improving the quality of the new tacos – $ 14 for the current ones seemed fairly steep to me. Overall, I feel like the place is a bit overpriced given the quality of food preparation. The quality isn’t consistent in our experience and the menu’s selection is limited unless you’re ready to really drop some coin. Some of the menu is in the $ 10 – 14 range but a lot of it is higher fare at 18+. The service was good our last time there. Everything was clean. They repaired the men’s room! One quirky thing: the music choices there are consistently awkward and out of place for the type of atmosphere they have. Weird.

Was in Las Cruces, staying at a hotel for the Bataan March. We were a group of 9 soldiers from Canada. I absoloutely love craft beer and was excited to try their offerings. ABSOLOUTEWORSTSERVICE I HAVEEXPERIENCED! Our waiter Jose was confused on everything we ordered and came back to our table a half a dozen times asking what we each ordered. The beer was good, food was decent, but service was horrible. Half of our table never received their plates until the remaing number of us had finished ours. Our waiter asked why we were in town, and we told him we just completed the march. His response to his incompetence was that he was up since 8 am, and was very tired needless to say, zero sympathy here. We finished our meal and once again, our waiter disappeared… for 30 mins… no one else bothered to see if we needed anything. After I wandered around the restraunt trying to find anyone who worked ther, I found a young lady who really had no idea what to do… she offered sorry over and over, but that was it. Our waiter just simply disappeared, never to be seen again. I would of expected a slight discount to say the least, but nothing. Maybe 40 mins is the norm to wait for your bill in Las Cruces… bu I doubt it. Its too bad, it‘s a beautiful spot, but the service is by far the worst I have ever experienced. If I was the manager or owner, I‘d be ashamed

Exellent beer! The food was great so full favor! The green chicken was the bomb! They even have the best gluten free menu we found in a years! Go for the food stay for the desert beer! That was the best beer for me! My husband liked the pecan house beer!

A couple at the bar, apparently employees not working, seemed to occupy the bar servers attention so he had to be called at for service. The young woman had the filthiest mouth I have ever heard… every other word was F this, F that, GD this/that and… the manager and other employees kept coming over to talk with her so she kept spouting. The green chili apps. were good, but I would never go there again. happy trails

If I had a few words to describe this place they would be: good beer and decent food. I got to try this place a while back and was quite impressed with the the restaurant’s appearance in general and the great selection of house brews. If you’re a fan of craft beer, you will definitely recognize their pecan beer. Let me tell you, the pecan beer fresh from the brewery itself is very good. I also got to try a very good IPA. The food was also decent. I had some green chile burger sliders and they were a little overcooked but still did the job. Warning: the green chile is an ass torcher that will make you hate life the next day. Overall, this place was pretty good. The prices are a bit steep but do not let that stop you from giving this place a try.

I was curious to try this place after reading the mixed reviews and looked forward to deciding for myself. Upon arrival my party was greeted warmly and seated right away. However, the hostess forgot to bring the happy hour menus as promised, no worries. Our waitress greeted us right away and took our drink orders. The beer is quite excellent. Looking forward to trying more. I did wait with an empty beer for about 10 minutes before the waitress checked in on us and the food came. They were not busy as it was around 1600. I would rate the service as adequate but nothing special. I would rate the food as mediocre and a bit pricey given the 3 dishes sampled. The beer is great and I look forward to trying more. I will return for happy hour and try more beers and order some food off the special menu. More to follow in follow-up review.

Service was..(see notes below), price was a little high but worth it, taste was great, portions were a little small. First impression, the place is dark. It’s difficult to see what’s going on our where you’re going. We visited just after 4pm and the only seating they had available was at the bar or outside. The booths in the bar were taken and all that was left was tall tables which I’m not too crazy about. So we had no other choice than outside. Luckily the weather was nice but I asked the hostess if we could sit in the dining room and she said that section did not open until 5pm. Keep in mind it was 4:20pm when we arrived. I don’t see why an exception couldn’t be made. On the plus side, the German pilsner is absolutely delicious. The place is a little over priced but the ambiance is great for date night. Everything we tried is delicious. As far as taste, everything was very good. Our favorite, by far, was the green chili soup. I was disappointed by the seatting experience but our waitress, Jenna, provided exceptional service.

The Pecan Grill and Brewery is hands down, top of the line when it comes to the brewery+eatery department in the area. Definitely worth the trip if you live anywhere nearby or are just passing through. Las Cruces(and Mesilla) is a foodie sanctuary and I’m in love with The Pecan Grill *insert heart eyes emoji*. I couldn’t get over the whole design of the restaurant. When we walked inside we had the option to sit in the bar area or the dining area. The dining area was sparse(but beautiful… great for date night) so we opted for the bar area. I chose a table near the doors and saw they also have patio seating. It wasn’t too cold during our visit so the opening and closing of the doors wasn’t a bother, but I definitely wouldn’t choose the bar area during December, if you catch my drift. The bar area honestly just looks like a well-put-together bar, but it’s the restaurant in it’s entirety that was beautiful. Large exposed beams on the ceiling, perfect lighting, the openess, the small touches… it all just added to the overall experience that sometimes you forget you really can get in the area. There were two things that I found a little funny about TPGB: 1. The amount of menus(a brunch/lunch menu, a regular menu, a drink menu, and the specials of the day menu). It took me a little longer to make a decision, but if that really is too many options you could always just choose not to look at two of the menus; and 2. Only some of the staff was wearing uniforms while others were just wearing whatever the hell they felt like. Our waitress looked like an American animé character… she was wearing a half-kimono looking top and short-shorts. It didn’t stop any of the staff from being amazing, but I thought it was interesting. Maybe had something to do with if they were working the dining area or the bar area. When we did land on our options we both decided against anything from their drink menu or their awesome build-your-own mimosa bar since we still had a lot of driving around to do, but I will definitely be hitting up their mimosa bar and trying some of their brews. I wasn’t super hungry so I decided to just order the Beer Cheese Fondue. OH. MY. GOSH. Great portion, perfect for sharing(or just eating solo). The fondue comes out hot with bread that’s riddled with garlic(yum), apples(yes!), and their perfectly seared beef(double yum + double yes). This was so good, so flavorful and it wasn’t so far on the beer side of the beer cheese spectrum that it just tasted like warm beer… much like everything else I tried, it was perfect. My better half ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich. He gave me half and holy crap was it delicious! Juicy! Flavorful! The best prime rib sandwich I’ve ever had! The fries were also crispy heaven. Completely impressed with TPGB and everything they serve up! They need to be your first stop when in LC. I can’t wait to go back and try everything(and I mean everything) else on their menu! And if you’re still unsure about them after all this, maybe the price point is a little scary for you, the brunch/lunch menu isn’t as expensive so go around that time to get a feel for the place and one of the best meals you’ll find in the Southwest!

Best restaurant in Cruces. Granted, I realize that may be damning with faint praise. So here’s the thing: the food is generally good. The fish tacos are nice, the garlic fries could be a meal, the brunch, particularly the salads and the fish and chips, are spot on. I love the green chili vodka and the bloody mary bar. And the atmosphere is fine. But the service is generally terrible — I mean, sitting at your table for 30 minutes and empty water glasses with nary an inquiry from a server. And yet I give it four stars. Because in Cruces, that’s actually the level of service you expect, and the food/drinks pretty much compensate. On the balance, if you have to go out and eat, go here. ** Special mention: DOGO when they do one of their special dinners. The bf and I attended a whiskey pairing dinner that was likely our best culinary experience in Cruces.

This place was excellent for our dinner experience in a group of 7 people! The food was amazing, the service was good and the beer was not bad. The Pecan beer was very sweet for my tastes, like a liquid pecan pie so it is more of a dessert beer. But, I really enjoyed their wheat beer and their specialty cocktails! The vibe was definitely more restaurant than brewery, and they have events too including live music. The hostesses were not super knowledgeable, but they were very friendly. They have some merchandise with a breaking bad theme, but no stickers. The brew pub is huge, so it can accommodate a lot of people easily. We had a great dining experience with everyone being super happy with their meals. They have a great menu and we all enjoyed the flavorful dishes. I would definitely recommend this stop for a drink and a meal.

This place was recommended to me by a good friend so off we go to Las Cruses. First impression – Impressive dining area how about the food? Went there on a Sunday around 1. Got seated right away and the waiter was polite and fast. Ordered both the dark and light flights of beer so we can taste everything. Ordered the green chile stew and the sliders for appetizer. The sliders were solid. I loved the caramelized onions in them. I loved the bun it came in. It didn’t fall apart. My bowl of soup arrives and I tell yah, it’s a bowl of heaven. Chunks of potatoes and pork with massive creamy green chile flavor. Then the waiter arrives with the complimentary bread. Ok, I can get lost with that roasted garlic bread and green chile butter!!! I mean I don’t even have to order anything. Just give me that!!! I was stuffed! I literally hogged the bread and butter and dipped it in my stew of heaven— yum!!! Then my husband green chile chicken came. I was literally stuffed to the brim but as soon as I had a taste of that chicken with that wonderful creamy risotto– I wanted to order one for me. I didn’t bec I know I’m gonna end up up chucking it bec I was stuffed but if I didn’t have self control, I would have ordered it. The red pepper Alfredo sauce hmmmmm my mouth is watering while writing this. It was perfectly creamy and seasoned very well. Dip your melt in the mouth chicken on it then get a little spoon of the risotto is heaven on a plate. I was so mad that I orders a bowl of soup instead of a cup bec I wanted to try another dish although I think a bowl of soup would not be enough anyways. Ok let’s not forget the beer– the pecan beer is amazing. It’s an amber color with a hint of pecan taste. It goes very well with everything we ate. I also liked the green pepper beer. A little unusual but hey I’m in New Mexico! It’s still a solid beer though. The white ale is also pretty good. Everything we had was soooo good!!! In fact we haven’t even left the building we are already talking about our next visit, that’s how good the food is!
