I needed to get some electronic components for a circuit project. Radio Shack is one of the few places around you can get that kind of thing.
They people that work there are always kind of dorky. Im convinced that too much time with technology saps a man of his testosterone and renders him soft and unlikely to hook up much. In turn that leaves our Radio Shack employee more time to look at computer porn, get softer, and worry about what version of andriod is running on your phone.
Needless to say this kid did not know too much about what I was looking for. They had some of the stuff, but they are moving away from that kind of thing to cell phones and cameras.
Circuitry is what most of our modern world is made of, and remarkably tons of this stuff to interact with circuits is out there waiting to be discovered. It takes some time and I’m a beginner, but it’s fascinating to know that you can build almost anything you can think of from off the shelf electronic components. geek out.
