Great spot for an early lunch or afternoon snack. Great view. Sits right on the dunes. Parking is tricky during tourist season. The homemade fries are fabulous! They give you a big basket… enough for two! I’ll be back as soon as the tourists leave lol

Fist time diner at Anglins on a Monday night –disaster. Maybe because it was a Monday but the service was awful. It seemed like they just opened that day. Silverware shortage, appetizer served with the pizza. The Greek salad was tasty but expensive for the size. The pizzas(2) were tasty but the crust was soggy. Great selection of beer but our waitress couldn’t keep the beer bill straight. Our waitress gave us our bill but no pen to total or sign it with. The bathrooms are«key» only but they could never find the key — not a good situation when you serve beer!

I have been here 3 times for lunch since Feb. 2015 when I come down from Detroit. You can’t beat the view and beach vibe. A little less touristy than Aruba next door. They have organic options which is nice. Drinks are good, not too strong and not too weak. Live music is nice and not too loud during the day. Never been here at night. Food is good. I will return.

It gets a three star for its location on the beach. Food is ok. Drinks are just ok. Both are pricey but you are paying for the view. Sometimes they have live music. Parking is difficult for all restaurants in this area.

Love this place. Great view of the ocean and everything is made FRESH. I love bringing my out of town guests here for breakfast for a great taste of Florida.

Awesome place right on the beach. Went there right after sunset forgetting I live on the east coast now and the sun sets over land. Food was pretty good. I went a simple route with lobster roll, and it was delicious. I want to return, but last I heard the place was under construction. Not sure if it’s back up and running yet.

I loved, this is my fist time here. I always come by the pier, to see the ocean. I was so sick to go Aruba, they are nice but very regular if I compare with this amazing simple place… The music today was more than good. The singer is perfect. Make my family moment very lovely. Food also is better than my other option around. Very very satisfying. Thanks guys.

Anglins was the perfect brunch spot for a Sunday. The service was quick and the food was delicious. I had a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin with a side of hash browns. The hash browns are made fresh in house(not frozen) and are to die for! I couldn’t get enough. The scenery was perfect too. Nothing compares to breakfast on the beach.

Perfect location on the beach, great food and tasty drinks for a reasonable price, and nice live music. But they have to get their restroom in order. Diners can only use the«Gulls» room, and must ask for a key from the bar, which is often missing, and there are no instructions about this anywhere. Fishers on the pier use only the«Buoys» room. It’s always been like this, and is embarrassing for new diners. There should be a sign on the door or a note in the menu, or they should just provide adequate restrooms for patrons.

Had lunch with my family who actually live in Lauderdale By The Sea. You can tell a good restaurant when its full of locals! We sat in a booth and had a great view of the beach & ocean. JANET was our waitress & by the end of our meal we loved her. Its such a pleasure to not only have good food but to also have a great server! We had coconut shrimp, wings & a hummus platter. Everything was delicious. We also had cocktails, Mojitos & Moscow Mules. Both yummy! I wld definitely recommend this restaurant!

Two stars for the Organic Food and the nice server. Other than that, the place is run down and the worst part is although you are a paying guest, they still have the audacity to charge you $ 2.00 to walk the pier. COMPLETETOURISTTRAP. I’ve lived in Florida for a few years now and it’s clear as to why this place was never recommended. With all of the other dining options along the street, I wouldn’t recommend this one.

Beautiful scenery good drinks, nice staff. Just a bit slow, but hey you’re not supposed to be at in a rush at the beach. Thumbs up.

There was two pieces of meat in my gyro. WTH! Service is nice and friendly but I’m torn by the terrible food!

Ducked in with sweet Joni to talk bikinis and Bimini and YouTube. I run Amplification, Inc. She runs Pango Pango Swimwear. So – setting sun, nice breeze, and Brie was our bartender. Life is good. We had $ 8.50 well drinks, we had Shrimp Avocado dip for $ 12. Yeah, that’s a real thing and it’s DELISH! This place rocks because it is on the pier and makes for outstanding people watching. Staring at the ocean doesn’t suck, either. Be adivsed: the place is small, the service is slow, and all seating is outdoors. You are at the BEACH after all. :-) Cabeza OUT!

Meh! Our experience eating here started off with good service and a beautiful sunset however as the night went on, things took a turn. A few people overindulged on the alcohol and were causing a scene. One of them harassing diners that were sitting outside closest to the bar… yaaaay! I happened to be one of those tables. This was awkward but still relatively okay until he started knocking down drinks and stealing a tip from an older waitress. Meanwhile other waiters– including my own were laughing and hanging around the tables to see what would happen next instead of getting control of the situation and calling their manager, etc… The overindulger and his drunkard friend; an older lady and a regular at this establishment were cursing at each other and causing a scene making things very uncomfortable for everyone else yet no one would kick them out or take control. This to me was a huge disappointment. I was expecting the staff to take a little more responsibility and react in a more mature and professional manner. At the very end, closing time… hours after this whole scene was playing out, the manager asked the older lady who frequents the place to never bring the younger guy to this establishment again and kicked the guy out. Truth be told, they both should’ve been kicked out and the two tables dining al fresco that were affected deserved an apology but whatever… it’s how they run this and why their reviews are so shabby. For the record… key lime pie tasted like soap and what could have been a nice, relaxing outing turned into an eventful and stressful evening.

Just got a Beach Punch. Was pretty watered down, couldn’t taste any alcohol. Plus they were $ 10 a pop. The only saving grace was that it was right on the water with a great view.

I didnt eat here but i can’t wait to go back to try the food! I had the organic margarita and it was delightful! Fresh and unlike your traditional margarita which i loved… Cant beat the location… Right on the pier with great beach views and nice music!

This is one of these conundrums of ratings. The food and setting is at least 4 stars. The food was super fresh, with large portions. Drinks were slightly above average. The spot at the end of the road on the beach is awesome. However… The service is mockable. Ridiculously slow and disorganized with no indication when you’re sitting there of how to solve either problem. We’ll probably try them again when we’re in the mood for some sand in our toes, mostly to see if the service improves. If it doesn’t, we won’t make any extended efforts. All in all, an average of 3 stars.

The service is horrible and verging on criminal. The food made my stomach upset and I went to use the restroom(which is only one for women and one for men) with my sister. As I was wrapping up and washing my hand someone knocked on the door loud and hard… as if there was a fire or something. We said yes and next thing we know this employee is using his key to open the door. My sister had to rush to keep the door from opening. A few seconds earlier and he would have exposed all my intimates to the restaurant. Not to mention this was the same employee that told us we had to get a key to use the restroom a few minutes earlier. I’ve never been so disrespected in my life. As a paying customer I should be able to use the restroom peacefully. It’s not my fault the food did not agree with my stomach. This was the second bad service incident we experienced with this place during the same visit. Obviously ownership or leadership condones this behavior and treatment of paying customers and therefore this is a place I would NEVER recommend and NEVER come back to. In fact I’ll go out of my way to ensure that no one I know ever comes here.

When you think food on the beach, you may be looking for a few different things. Possibly something with drinks for a rowdy bunch, possibly something with beer flowing and a loud steel drum or cover band show. Those options are great sometimes, but I like Anglins for other things it does well, namely a relaxing vibe. It is right on the beach, that is, it is right on the pier. Wether day or night the romantic ambiance is permeable. The crowd is a mix of tourists and locals. The local half of the crowd is people who aren’t looking for the karaōke cover band scene of Aruba’s next door. Aruba’s isn’t my kinda place, but if your looking for the 1st2 types of beach food I listed, Aruba’s will take care of you. Anyhow on to the food! I have had a few different dishes here. The food has been pretty good. The coconut shrimp isn’t the best I have had, but OK(I would recommend JB’s in Deerfield for that). There are plenty of other good seafood and Americana options on the menu as well. undoubtedly the food is over priced, and the drinks even more so. But any location this nice right on the beach is going to cost more. Its an expensive trade off but worth it if a classy option is what you are looking for. I did see one bad review based on the fact that they don’t have straws. Possibly the dumbest reason I have seen to give a bad review. They don’t carry straws to help the beach enviroment. See, just Ask!
