I’ve visited the longhorn steakhouse on several occasions. The last time I went o ordered the spinach dip for the appetizer and the New York strip steak with garlic fries and side salad. The steak here is always delicious. The spinach dip was so-so. Definitely not my favorite and the fries came out warm at best. The customer service is always good here. The waiters are all very attentive. If the review was based in the steak alone it would definitely be 5 stars but the appetizer and sides were a little disappointing. The location is nice, well lit and has plenty of parking. I won’t be visiting anytime soon but I will be back.

Road way out here to try something different and hit a spot I thought wouldnt be too packed since the Nba playoff game is on tonight. When I pulled up, there were so many spots right out front, I thought the place was closing… this was about 8pm on a Sunday. Walked in, bar to the left, few patrons, great for me to watch the game and get a steak. They have directtv here, which means if its storming, I would advise not to come here expecting to watch anything. No storms tonight though. Shorty behind the bar is welcoming, attentive. She never told me her name, and I dont have the check yet, so Im giving her a generalized adjective as a point of reference. My hennessy and ginger ale comes soon and poured well. I order the ribeye meal medium rare. When my meal arrives, it looks great-well, the steak definitely does. The baked potato looks dry, but nothing I was gonna complain about. But lets get back to the steak. That was probably the most succulent steak Ive eaten in a while, and I was at ruth chris last weekend. Damn. That joint was bangin. Not so much the flavor, but the fact that it was cooked so well. All I needed was one swipe of the knife and it was headed to my mouth. I dont like sawing through beef. Man, I crushed that ribeye. Everything was pretty good. Only four stars because the music was lame(they cant play the game at volume), and the bar is right next to the kitchen which means you hear all the fun(and not so fun) banter that is «back of house» at any restaurant-no doors between the two.

Juicy steak, attentive service! I should’ve taken pictures but I ate it before I realized that pics help. I had the crab bites yummy and the outlaw ribeye & ribs everything was cooked perfectly! Also had the carrot cake bite it’s just enough — perfection! My daughter had the lava cake also moist and delicious! For those of you who confuse this place with Outback — be very ashamed– I was! Will come again and again…

I hate going here the employees are the worst. They have no common sense or Courtesy. They have 10 open tables and will make you wait 20 minutes to seat you! The food is never made right and over priced. Definitely stay away from this place. Other ones aren’t like this

worst longhorn experience ever. just to start, a friend of mine booked a party a day in advance to seat 26 people at 8 pm. well at 8 half the people were here to be seated and they had booked another party right at 730 and werent ready for us. after sitting down the service went down the drain. slow appetizers to come out. poor service on drinks and refills to be waited 20 min on a fountain drink. then steaks were over cooked. when told the manager sge said she would fix it. we asked was it the same steak and she said yes. well it wasnt. it was supposed to be a renegade steak and it was a flat iron. never will we ever come here again.

I have been to this restaurant several times since it’s opening. April 2nd I visited for dinner with my wife and daughter. One of the worst experiences I have had with service and quality of food; I ordered french onion soup, NYSTRIP steak among other appetizers. After waiting for half an hour a waiter approached the table. As soon as the waiter(dark haired bearded guy) heard we wouldn’t be ordering alcohol, he abruptly handed our table to a well meaning but poorly trained older server(s/b serving breakfast at a diner) who was bouncing off the wall with nervous energy. She continued to have food delivered without condiments, utensils, main course without so up-to very cooked meat etc. I didn’t get my soup, she kept apologizing, not wanting to makes things goodfor us. Here is the kicker, so we tipped her 20% and left. Contacted Manager Jennifer H. She promised to make it right, apologized and said would reverse charges(initially offered discount coupon). She later said would reverse charges. I was looking through my American Express and noticed a credit mostly for the Tip I paid the waiter. This Management get it! They are asking me to get lost me as a customer. Now, that other better dining options are opening Consumers like me have choices in Laurel. I don’t typically write reviews but speak to Management. This location, they don’t seem to care!

Really like the appetizers here, had the corn fritters, samplers, lobster and shrimp soup, and all of them were delicious. For entrees, we asked for lamb chop and the ribeye. Both of them were over cooked. My ribeye was suppose to be medium rare, but came out to be medium well,(I still deal with it because the meat quality was good, which didn’t make it too hard to chew) and the lam chop which was asked to be medium was definitely well done and even had char. We called our waiter over and he took it back to kitchen and had the chef remake one for us. Before asking for check, we also let him know that my ribeye was overcooked too, but I don’t need to change mine cuz it was still ok. After then he left to grab our check and returned with a discount on it. Overall I think the dinner was nice, I will return for those appetizers and hope to have better steaks next time.

Yeah, do not go here if you are a single person looking to have dinner on a busy night. With the 30 minute wait for a table I was advised that I could dine in the«bar area». They do not define what constitutes the«bar area» and it turns out that at least 3 of the 5 empty booths in the bar are not«bar area» and I was asked to vacate after sitting unattended for 10 minutes. Even the manager on duty, when I called from my car as I drove away, told me that those booths in the bar area are not«bar area» and did not seem to care that I was booted out of the«bar area». Sad, really. Yep, I «vacated» myself down the road to Outback!

The service was great(thanks tony, I think that was his name) and the appetizers were promising. The bread is great and the spinach and artichoke dip were yummy. However the disappointment came when I got the main dish, my 6 oz steak and steamed broccoli. I ordered medium, and I believe I received a well done steak. Pink was no where to be found! The broccoli was cooked into absolute mush. Did not stay for desert. I feel I have had better food there before, so it may have just been not their best steak. But for a steak house, shouldn’t all the steak be good?

I would have probably enjoyed my meal if the restaurant didn’t have some funky smell. The décor is beautiful but the smell just hit my face as I was waking in. Hope they do something to fix it.

I am writing this review on the drive home from a very disappointing birthday dinner for my self. First off 4 members of our party were running late and they refused to seat the 2 that were there. Okay that’s fine since once all our party was there we were seated promptly but the table was one that was extended and very filmsy. It took a good 10mins before out server came to the table and once he brought the drinks he forgot mine and told one person at our table that the beer ordered was being brought up from the basement??? and once it was delivered it was temped at best. Our plates seemed to sit on the table a long time before being cleared. When the food was brought out, 2 of the lobster tails were cold and one side was not brought out. Also it took ages for drinks to be refilled. At this point we had to get the manager involved. She was very nice and compt 2 meals with the lobster, a couple drinks and gifted us $ 15. After this it still took ages to get drinks. Something as simple as a bailey’s and coffee. Somethings we accepted as kitchen problems but a lot was server issues. We will probably not be back to this location.

I brought my husband here to get his mind off of some really bad stuff going on at work. I thought LongHorn Steakhouse to be a good place to get some good food, good drinks, and some really laid back service. When we walked in on a Monday night the dining area was basically empty. If there were 50 tables in the entire place, only two were filled. We were seated by the hostess, and it took seven minutes for the waitress to come to our table. After taking our orders of two waters with lemon, a glass of wine, a sampler platter, a 10 ounce sirloin steak, & a fish entrée, the waitress left. It took almost 10 minutes for us to get our waters with lemon, and almost 22 minutes for me to get my glass of wine. For reference, we got our appetizer sampler platter before I got my glass of wine. Again remember, there was pretty much nobody in the restaurant. How hard is it for a bartender to pour a glass of wine? The appetizer sampler platter came out and it was lukewarm at best. I remember thinking that the Firecracker shrimp was good, but the stuffed mushrooms were severely lacking in taste, and the deep fried rolls or whatever they were were hard as a rock. We could not find a waitress to tell this to as our waitress never came to check on us, so eventually we just gave up and ate it. But my husband and I elected to have Caesar salad as part of our size, so when they came out I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Caesar salads are actually pretty big. Although I have to say that the lettuce didn’t taste like it had been washed enough. At this point we had to flag down another waitress to ask her to get our waitress so we can have more water. Somewhere between the salads and the main entrée I finally got my glass of wine. When the entrees finally came out my steak was cooked exactly as I asked, and the side was ok. No I say that the steak was cooked as I ask, but it was bland even with the garlic butter on top. I had to solve it and add additional spices for it taste like anything. The fish my husband ordered was bland at best, and he said the mashed potatoes tasted like they were something straight out of a box. I would have understood this level of service and this level of bland food had it been packed in the dining room. But it was incredibly slow, and there were very few people that came into the dining room even as my husband and I sat there. The complete lack of customer service, and attention to detail given by the staff made me feel like it did not matter if I was there or not. If they have a lunch menu where you can get a steak and a side for $ 10 real quick, maybe I’ll go to that. Otherwise, it will be a long time before I visit any LongHorn Steakhouse establishment anywhere.

Every once in awhile a client wants to go to a chain restaurant despite my generous capability to let them dine elsewhere and we typically end up regretting the decision. No different this time. Took close to ½ hour to get a bowl of cruddy French onion soup for myself and burgers for them. Drink order was botched and the food was medicore at best.

Honestly, save you money and DONOTCOMEHERE! HORRIBLESERVICE! I experienced some of THEWORST service ever at this location by our server. I should have known when as I sat outside waiting for a table I overheard patrons commenting on their horrible service as they were leaving. Our server started the night off with an attitude like he was pissed we came to sit down and our presence was bothering him. I have never felt more unwanted at a restaurant. He leaned on the bench as he took our orders, rolled his eyes at us as we asked him questions, messed up our drink orders. Then after my friends put in their food order he told them they were our of prime rib, on a tuesday. Then he proceeded to laugh as they asked him what was the next best thing on the menu. He suggested that he liked the prime rib and laugh as he mention, again, that there were out of it. If there is one thing that boils my blood, it’s rude servers. If you hate working at LongHorn find another place to work, there are plenty of other restaurants in the area but to be so rude to customers who are spending their money is unacceptable. Maybe the management is bad and are overworking the waiters but whatever it is I hope they fix it. OTHERTHINGS: The food was decent and tasty but I will never visit this location again. Parking is ample. This is a family friendly place. Easy to find right off Route 1. In the same shopping center as cold stone and starbucks across from the furniture place.

Honestly I have very low expectation for most chain restaurants — but my parents wanted to try«new» food and I happened to have a giftcard to Darden’s restaurants — so we decided to check out LongHorn for a casual lunch date. First impression — I wasn’t particularly impressed by the over the top cowboy décor. Not only did it look tacky, it also appeared as if all the decors could use some dusting. Additionally, I was overwhelmed by a moldy wet towel smell near our table immediately after seating. Cleanliness rating — questionable. Our server didn’t greet us until a good 15 minutes after we were seated. It was odd where when he first appeared, he avoided all eye contact and tried to look at our table from the corner of his eyes. He didn’t make it known that he was our server and left us looking all over until we found to host to assist us. Service — questionable. My parents and I each went with a pick 2 lunch special — steak sandwich with French onion soup, chicken avocado flatbread sandwich with tortilla soup, and strawberry + chicken salad with shrimp, lobster chowder. We munched on their complimentary warm crusty house made bread(forget the Olive Garden’s bread sticks, these are 100x better! Did I mention also unlimited?) as we waited for our orders. When our orders arrived, we were surprised by the generous portion and the beautiful presentation. For $ 8 a plate, it was a win at first sight. And it only got better — everything tasted fresh and well made. Soups, sandwiches, and salads were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. We polished our plates and went back to the menu to start brainstorming other lunch combo we will make at our next visit. It was the best chain restaurant meal I’ve had to date! Overall — I can definitely look past the service and ambiance for the bomb tasting food and wallet friendly price.

TAKEOUTREVIEWONLY I have not eaten inside of this longhorn location in a terribly long time, so I am not aware of any new staffing issues or horrible service. I do however, stop in from time to time to order take out food. The ordering process is quick and easy and can be done on the website. Upon arriving the food is always hot and fresh, and all of the necessary condiments, napkins, eating utensils, etc. are accounted for. My orders have never been incorrect, but then again who can mess up chicken fingers and grilled chicken breasts…

I think we had better experience at Outback Steak than here. Our server was not really attentive and we had to ask for refills Everytime we needed one. And they have advertised«steak so tender, you’ll forget you had a knife» but in reality, our steaks came out like rubbers even though we had it done medium well. Anyways, we will stick with our Outback Steakhouse.
