I have to say I was really disappointed with my dining experience at Outback in Laurel, MD. The food order was messed up. My husband had ordered the Burbon Bacon Salmon and I had ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad. I was really upset when they bought the food out it was a white iceberg lettuce laced with Ahi tuna on the top, the lettuce looked like it was thrown together sloppily. The bourbon bacon Salmon did not have bacon or bourbon on it. The manager cam out to talk to us to apologize for the messed up food order and offered us a mini desert to make up for the loss. I felt really insulted. Even though they had attempted to rectify the issues with the order they should not have charged me for the meal. I will not be returning to this restaurant no time soon.

Did not get what we ordered. Missing sides. Bad experience. 1 star kinda. Go to Bjs next door. Way better food same price.

What is it about chain restaurants! Don’t get me wrong — this wasn’t the first choice of the day. However where we tried to go was packed and we were really hungry so we went across the street and settled with Outback. The customer service was SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWER than molasses. I mean from greeting us at the table, getting our water, taking our orders. It was just RIDIC! That’s my issue. I don’t complain about the food because — its the same no matter where you go. I just need better customer service. What is so hard about that… someone tell me PLEASE!

Outback steak house is not what it use to be. I went to this location and the place was not that busy we were seated right away. The server was not polite and brought us drinks then took 15 minutes to come back and get our order. When the food came out it was completely wrong. So I had to wait longer. Then the taste of the food was just bland will never go back there again

This was probably the worst visit I’ve had at Outback. I don’t come often but if I had to base it off of this experience I wouldn’t return. Even my younger brother who was with me complained about the wait for the food, the accuracy of the food and bet with me that it would take a long time to get the check. It did. Initially we were seated at a table that was wet with small puddles of water. I had to ask for the table to be dried. Then we got water. I asked for one lemon. I still don’t have the lemon. We ordered an appetizer with no mushrooms. Comes out with mushrooms. I asked for 2 small plates and received one clean one and an extremely dirty plate. Then the appetizer came right before our meals came. It just wasn’t the best experience. I should’ve went to BJs or like my little brother said we should’ve just went to Fridays as he requested. And then I think one of the supervisors tried to hit on me instead of trying to find out why I was reviewing them so poorly. I showed him that I was on Unilocal giving the bad review. And I just realized we didn’t even get bread. Needless to say I won’t be back.

Car side to go is horrrrrribbbbleeee I’m afraid to see how it is to go and sit inside if the to go is as bad as it is I called them from my home which is 20 minutes away and the line would just rinnnnng and ringggg got there still on the phone keep in mind sat in the parking lot still waiting went inside(phone still on ear) the person is right there doing nothinggggggg they ask if they can help me(you should have seen the look I gave them) I said«yea sure mind answering your phone?» Respond to me with a strange look«excuse me?» Was their response I said«that call — ringing and ringing that’s me I’ve been on here for 30 minutes» waitresses face got realllll red and I could see I flustered her I asked for a manager who didn’t seem to care no apology nothing Don’t order carside to go here they are all lazy You’ll just end up having to go inside they hardly ever go out to the car It’s their job but they all act like your a nusciance Trust me I’ve ordered a gazillion times its always the same Either will take forever to answer the phone(do yourself a favor and order the food online ahead of time), won’t bring the food out and you’ll have to go in, just laziness big time on their part I have complained for years and the problem is never fixed don’t believe me? You’ll find out — oh and when you end up having to go in to get your food — just look at the customers annoyed face next to you — you’ll see because it happens alllllll the time

I frequent Outback Steakhouse at least once a month(but at a different location) and always use curbside pickup. I pulled up in the designated area for curbside pickup and 10 minutes go by and no one has made their way out to my car. After noticing other people walking into the take-out area I decide to go in knowing that my order is ready and just sitting. I pay for my things and drive home only to find out they left out part of my order, so I drive back and I’m not offered an apology or anything. This is my second and last time going to this location. Customer service does not seem to be of importance to them.

Horrendous customer service! Was not greeted at the door, given a table, and waited over 20 minutes just to order my meal. The bartender was better at small talk than actually caring about serving us. We were not served bread(which I normally love) because they were out of bread.

Went here today because I was in the area and I hadn’t been to an Outback in quite some time. I was not disappointed. We started with Aussie Cheese Fries and Wings. They were so good. I had forgotten how good the blue cheese is there. Not too tart, just right. The fries were crisp, delicious, and perfectly seasoned. The wings were perfect and the blue cheese complemented them perfectly. For the entrée, feeling a little guilty after the appetizers, we got a side salad in lieu of the fries and I ordered the Ribeye melt and my husband ordered the half rack of ribs. Now here is where I have a complaint. We ordered a side salad with our entrée, so why did the salad show up without the rest of the entrée? We ate our salad and when we were done the waiter brought out two plates with nothing but meat on them. Luckily for us, we were pretty full by this time. So we took our meat to go. I am just getting in and ate half of my ribeye melt(many hours after our trip to Outback) and it was delicious. Not that I ever doubted it. I’d definitely go back again. I love Outback and this place did not disappoint.

Typical Outback fare. If I’m starving and in the mood for steak, this is my go-to spot. Consistently good food. This is a really nice, new location. Parking is a nightmare due to the other restaurants nearby. Service was slow but friendly.

I love outback !! But stay away from this location. There were 2 host that could see I was coming in with a car seat and they didn’t bother to get the door. It seemed to be very slow but they still made us wait 15 minutes for a table. We sat at the table for at least 15 minutes before being greeted. And to top it off Half of our group finished before the other half even got their food. STAYAWAY !!!

The service was horrible. Only one bartender on a Friday evening! She continuously messed up my order. You are better off doing carry out service.

Since our average experience we’ve been here twice more. Our last two trips here were incredible! The food came out quick even when they were packed. The steaks were cooked to the perfect temperature we requested but it could use a slight bit more seasoning(easily fixed with a sprinkling of salt and pepper. Donald, our waiter was awesome both times! He works the bar tables. I have absolutely no complaints about our last two experiences here!

Dined here yesterday for the second time so now I am definitely qualified to give my review. 1. Atmosphere: Nice décor, clean bathroom and plenty of tv in bar area. Also outdoor seating available. 2. Drinks: First time here the drinks were better. Next visit same drink, different bartender, and awful drinks. Remember this as you read more of my review. 3. Location: Right off Route 1 but parking is shared with Panera Bread or with other stores so may be hard if very busy day. 4. Food: Steak was well seasoned but plate presentation was… messy. Looks like they just tossed food blindly. 5. Service: Really everything in 1 – 4 above kept this place from getting 1 star because SERVICEISABSOLUTELYHORRIBLE! ACTUALLYHORRIBLEISTOONICEOF A WORD! Tables not cleaned off quickly, had to request menu and silverware, waiter/waitress didn’t show up for awhile and then neither was professional. Waited 30+ minutes for drinks which were blamed on bartender. Manager brought over drinks after I went to bar to tell bartender drinks we’d ordered. Manager did not know difference in the drinks. Huh? Anyway, my salad came out 45 minutes after order(did I mention that it took 20 minutes to get order taken). Oh perhaps it was a busy night you say? NOPE! Max of 8 tables(6 tables with 2 ppl and 2 tables with 5 ppl). Oh and 4 ppl at the bar. My local Outback is busy every day and never have I waited so long. I won’t be back because I’ve one closer to me and much better service.

Service is really bad. The staff is polite but super slow. Its not even busy and as I write this review I’ve been waiting over an hour to eat. Ok one sec food just got here… Steak is cooked good but still over an hour wait is unacceptable. I’ve noticed that about multiple restaurants in this area.

Well, my wife and I have twice visited for a mid-afternoon dinner and the food and service could have been better. I waited for the second visit before forming this opinion. On our first visit, the greeter escorted us to our table and left us without napkins and silverware. On the plus side, the caesar salads were good, generous dressing, all fresh and crisp greens with crunchy croutons. My wife ordered the MR filet with unlimited shrimp. The steak was properly MR, but the shrimp were unexciting. The deep-fried shrimp were overcooked, dark-brown breading, and a little too small to determine whether they were juicy or dry. As a second order of shrimp, my wife ordered the garlic-herb-butter shrimp. The shrimp arrived with a sort-of-oily, slightly-gelatinous liquid coating that seemed to differ markedly from garlic-butter. At this meal I ordered the porterhouse cooked MR. I thought the porterhouse was fine. We ordered coffee and cheesecake for dessert(wow, that cheesecake was good, and the coffee was FRESH and enjoyable). On our second visit, we arrived mid-afternoon. More professional appearance and service from the greeter this time — we were given napkins and silverware when seated. We ordered Fosters and the waiter returned with sad news: «The bar is out of Fosters». OK, we decided on Yuengling Lagers — these were delivered as room-temperature beer in an icy mug. Clearly the bar was having problems. We decided to splurge on calories and ordered a «Bloomin Onion» for appetizer. The onion was, in my opinion, markedly overcooked(dark brown) and excessively greasy; that didn’t detract from the tastiness, but it was still burned and greasy. For supper my wife ordered a bone-in ribeye MR, I ordered a porterhouse MR. The caesar salads were good, generous dressing, all fresh and crisp greens but this time the croutons were not crunchy, but rather a little soggy. Both steaks were properly cooked, a happy outcome. On both visits I would characterize the noise level as fairly high but tolerable. On the second visit we were seated between two families with young children, and our seating area was later joined by a twelve-man group of late-teenagers engaged in enthusiastic conversation. In summary, it looks like Outback knows how to produce a repeatably acceptable steak, but it could benefit from improving the quality/consistency of side-orders, appetizers, and bar-service.

I love Outback! I also love fine dining steakhouses… so set your expectations correctly and you will have a grand time. On Wednesday, they offer the 3 course special… salad, 6 oz steak with a side and dessert for $ 12.99. I love their carrot cake. No raisins. I hate raisins in carrot cake. This place is also not diet friendly… I always gain at least 3 pounds. This is a place to indulge in calories… no different than a cheesecake factory. Tasty, fatty food. Get cheese and bacon on your fries with a side of ranch… yum!

This is my first time eating at this particular outback. Here is my review: 1. The hostess was all over the place with getting us seated. She seems frazzled but, friendly. 2. The restaurant was clean minus some booths they seemed understaffed. 3. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. 4. The food was great! Very yummy ! I got the Alice spring chicken, sweet potato and Caesar salad. I would go here again! Located in a new plaza
