Yummy! Staff was very polite… nicest cashier ever. Food was delicious and satisfying. Environment felt as I was on a road trip going south. I especially enjoyed the ribs and my friend loved the fried ocrah.

Great food at a great price. Very friendly accommodating staff. I had the ribs which were best I’ve ever had and beef brisket equally as good. Will be back but for now I’m so full!

I came here a couple days ago. Got the deal of the day which was a pulled pork sand which. I got two sides (Mac n cheese, iron waffle fries) and a drink. I paid 10.83. Mac n cheese was really good and fries. They gave me a large sized cup for my drink which was great. The sandwhich however was kind of small. It was a great meal as far as taste just wish the portion size was a tad bit bigger :(the cashiers were very very nice and helpful too

I couldn’t decided what I wanted so I went went the 3 meat meal. Beef brisket cheddar sausage and the pulled pork. i Chose the mac and cheese and green beans for my sides. Everything was amazing textured were on point flavors were phenomenal. I just wished that I saved room for the ice cream.

O.M.G this bbq is so good. I bought the picnic pack from groupon, got the pulled pork, Mac & cheese and bbq beans which came with 4 rolls. Everything was delicious and fresh, perfectly spiced! Definitely will be coming back here, it’s my new bbq spot:) YUM

It’s a good place for BBQ, not great. For a franchise joint in LI, it’s fine. The people are very nice who work there. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth the price.

Never heard of this place before, kind of sad that I hadn’t. The food is excellent, their meats are succulent and bursting with flavors. After having a lot of bad BBQ lately, this place is a pleasant surprise.
First off, the moment you enter the door you are greeted and made to feel welcome, the place itself has a nice comfortable feel to it. Thankfully, the music is a nice selection and played at a level that doesn’t force you to shout at your neighbor to be heard. They even have a few flat screens up so that you can watch your favorite game while you eat.
The baker is something I’d recommend to anyone, the baked potato is perfectly cooked so as to not feel meet or dried out, add on the extras and eat bite is a world of flavor and satisfaction.
Back to the most important thing though, the meats, they are good. The ribs are meaty and not full of fat, the fall off the bone and taste great. Both sausages have that bit of snap you want when you bite into them and taste great. The brisket melts in your mouth and the pulled pork makes you not want to stop eating.
Overall, I’m definitely coming back to this place, it’s worth the 25 minute drive from my place.

Pleasantly surprised by how good the bbq was here! Ribs and brisket were both nice and smokey, the ribs falling off the bone with ease. The bbq sauce was delicious and for me the highlight sides were the baked beans and green beans with bacon. The sweet tea and free vanilla ice cream were a nice touch too! Reasonably priced and welcoming staff mean I will be coming back!

Very good barbecue take out/​eat in restaurant in Lawrence. Opted for the ribs and brisket platter. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the brisket was smoky and tender. Drown them in some extra barbecue sauce if desired. The sides are equally good, the beans have a nice kick to them as do the green beans. If your mouth is burning from the sauces, take advantage of the complimentary soft serve vanilla ice cream. Service is friendly and helpful and eating here is light on the wallet. Can certainly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back.

Girlfriend and I were searching for something new to try and we weren’t disappointed… not only was the food good the help was amazing, they were nice and friendly and let us try everything before we ordered… worth a visit

When the Mrs. told me that there was a bbq place close by i was super excited, I am a huge fan of brisket. The place was neat with adequate seating the staff was friendly and greeted us as soon as we entered the establishment. The menu was difficult to navigate but after 5 minutes I settled on the 3 meat plate which was pricey at $ 15 dollars. the meats I chose were polish sausage, brisket and pulled pork, sides were fried tanglers and baked beans. I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the portion sizes!!! each meat had roughly 2 to 3 slices and saying that I’m being generous. the flavors were OK nothing blew me away. the baked beans were not very appealing. Reading some of the other reviews it seems that small portion sizes are the norm, I don’t think i will be returning to this location again.

Delicious! We are lovers of BBQ and have been all over he city and tri state area. This by far is the best and so close to my house. The staff is so nice and knowledgeable. The food is consistently good as I have been there several times. The meats are fresh and juicy and smoked for hours. Finally a place that takes BBQ serious. I will keep going to Dickies for BBQ!

The food was great! We got the XL family meal. It was Turkey, Chicken, Brisket, and Pork. Our sides were pickles and onions, mashed potatoes, baked beans, and creamed spinach. All of the food was great! Recommend this place.

Searching the Far Rockaway area for BBQ and came across this spot.
As soon as I entered the restaurant the entire staff greeted me in a friendly and welcoming manner (which is rare these days!). They were very friendly and inquired if this was my visit. Once I confirmed that I was a first timer I was offered various samples of the meat they offered as well as the sides. Everything was delicious but I chose the pulled pork, polish sausage and ribs with sides of baked beans as well as their potato casserole for my 3 meat plate order. Just waiting for my order I could tell the sausage was clearly a favorite because the customer in front of me ordered pounds of it!
In addition to the delicious food they also offered free self serve ice cream cones. I’ll definitely be a return customer!

This place gave me some great surprises for a neighborhood barbecue. First the customer service was A++. The small tasters were appropriate for first time visitors– sold. Then the party in my mouth from the beef brisket made me a convert. This will be my barbecue haven. The sides were equally delicious and fresh. Kids eat free Sunday’s is definitely a draw card.

BBQ is life and Dickeys never disappoints! Everything here is good… like literally everything. Every time I find myself wondering «what should I eat?» I slap myself in the face and say «Dickies you idiot» because it is the only option that will leave my heart and my belly full of love (if love was prime smoked meats). Dickies is great guys I honestly wish I were a poet so I could sing their praises with delicate words that flowed like honey to the ear… oh and did I mention the free ice cream!!!

Flavorful barbecue, they have a daily deal of the day, which was the pull pork and two sides jalapeño beans and creamy coleslaw with a drink. Delicious! Will be back
