Chili’s

went here for lunch Tuesday– good service and good food. We were in and out.

My boyfriend and I ate here and it was great. I had no problems. The waiter was friendly and had our food ready just in time.

I normally love chilis… but this evening I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! ! There were 4 customers in the entire restaurant at about 5 pm and we had to wait ten min. For a host to greet and seat us. We about walked out because 4 employees past us waiting and still no one seated us. Everyone’s food was good besides my chicken fried steak meal… it was so salty it literally took my breath away! I’m not one to complain, so I will just remember this experience next time my family goes out and not choose this restaurant.

We go to this Chilis all the time because they have good food at fair prices. We always sit at the bar to watch sports on the TV. The bartender Drew is amazing. Very friendly, takes your order quickly, makes suggestions, refills quickly, he’s «Johnny-​on-​the-​spot». This is why we go back! It’s like the «Cheers» saying –a friendly local spot where they know your name. (At least Drew does) There is one waitress (in the bar area usually) that is very unfriendly, clearly doesn’t want to be there, and makes you feel like you are a bother and an annoyance. But again, she is a minor fault in an otherwise great establishment.

Just got home with my to go order. Bleh! Im going to post the images for y’all to see! Not quite sure why they would serve this rotted food to anyone. It’s supposed to be a Bacon Avocado Chicken Sandwich. Stay away people!

We come here because it’s so close to home. I have always had great service at the bar. EVERY time never fails, it’s great. This time not so much. We decided to sit in a bar booth. We were greeted in a timely manner… ordered drinks… refills on our alcoholic beverages took FOREVER.
I get it, I was a restaurant manager and it’s Friday night, it’s expected to be a little slower. I’m not picky about that. The one-​star rating comes from the 45 MINUTE TICKET TIME for our food. We literally sat there forever. Not once did the server check on us or give us an explanation as to why it was taking so long.
My boyfriend had to ask the hostess to speak to a manager, as I was explaining the situation before I could even finish the manager just walked away. I was sitting there with my jaw dropped not believing he just walked away. (All I said was would you mind checking on our food, it’s been about 45 minutes since we have ordered.) This ticked my boyfriend off and they brought the food moments later. Finally fed up, we just asked to have it boxed up. Yes, they took care of our food… but, you guys need to slow down and listen to your guests when there’s an issue such as a 45 minute ticket time. That’s just unacceptable. Also, there was ZERO explanation. Definitely made me feel like a burden.

First time at this location seems to be great so far. wait staff friendly chips and salsa good waiting for the food…

We love Chilis but the last few times we ate here were pretty bad. Today was fantastic though. The food was cooked great and our server, Diane, was awesome. She made sure we had everything we needed and had a warm and heartfelt smile on her face every time we saw her. She deserves major kudos for a job well done!

I have eaten at this location many times and it seems to be headed for a crash landing. The hostess had a difficult time reading a diagram of the restaurant on her IPad which caused us to take a lap all the way around the dining room only to pass several empty tables and end up back in a booth near the front door. My Wife ordered a cheeseburger plain and dry cooked medium, it was delivered to the table dry with all of the vegetables and overcooked. I ordered beef nachos and for the first time ever on a Unilocal review I have to say it was absolutely disgusting. The beef tasted like a cross between the microwaveable fajita meat available at the grocery store and what I imagine wet dog food would taste like. I picked off the «beef» and the cheese and guacamole were good. The «Ziosk» payment center robs any chance of the Chili’s experience being personal. The entire experience felt compartmentalized as more attention was paid to serving size than customer satisfaction. I gave the review two stars because I survived the «beef» and woke up this morning healthy. I’m shocked.

The drinks were weak, the waiter didn’t mention happy hour or any deals happening for VERY similar items we asked for (like boneless vs. Bone-​in with GSM with a 40% price difference) Not once did he ask how my bland food was or come to the table to ask if everything was in order after he delivered my bland food. He also had a bad habit of not asking if there was anything else we needed before running off. He earned his $ 1.81 tip and I’ll drive 8 minutes further to another branch next time I feel like like an El Presidente margarita. I gave 2 instead of 1 star because it was mostly the servers fault we had a crappy experience.

It is rare for me to give anyone a 1-​star rating. In this case, 1-​star is GENEROUS!!! We ordered the $ 20 meal for 2 which includes an appetizer and two-​entrees.
For our appetizer, we ordered the Skillet Queso. Someone needs to explain to Chili’s what «queso» means. I assumed they knew it was cheese. Wow. What they brought out was an iron skillet that was filled with the worst tasting stuff I’ve ever had at Chili’s. It most definitely was NOT cheese. It was hot dog chili. Actually, I’ve had hot dog chili out of a can that tasted better. This wouldn’t be good on a hot dog. Absolutely horrible. Save yourself. Don’t order this appetizer.
For our main entrees, I had the bacon burger and my son had the ribs. You know a burger is bad when bacon can’t make it taste good. The meat had zero seasoning and no flavor whatsoever. The bacon wasn’t that good either.
My son has had the ribs before but even he stated they were not as good as in the past. He said they had no smoke flavor and very little flavor.
Chili’s management: Don’t bother to reply. Don’t offer a free gift card or a meal. It won’t matter. As I left the parking lot, I told my son that I will not be coming back here.

Just walked out.
Waited at the front door with a couple of servers/​bartenders staring at us without a greeting. A guy finally creeps around the back side and pops up like he just saw us. We pick out a table and he throws down the menus and quickly starts busing a table next to us.
Few secs later he comes back around to take our drink order, all the while looking quite annoyed and not personable at all. Brings that back around and asks for an appetizer order. I am in the middle of saying «I think we’re gonna pass on the appetizer but we just need a few minutes to look around.» But couldn’t even get the sentence out because he had already walked away, completely ignoring me.
At that point my boyfriend and I just look at each other with a quick «wtf» and decided to leave. If you don’t have to time for me to finish a sentence then you clearly don’t have time to wait on us.

Filthy… every table dirty… floor nasty… Hostess sat us at a dirty table even had a half full kids drink. we walked out!

The food and drinks are always on point. The bartender is great and already has our beer poured when we pull in.

Good food for a decent price. I got the texas fries as my appetizer, they were good and I love the ranch.
I ordered a smokehouse burger which was good but a little greasy. My aunt got the chicken tenders with fish batter that was supposed to make the batter «fluffy». It wasnt that great, the chicken fried steak batter to make the batter extra crispy is way better.
I always get a mango tea which I like but sometimes the waiter doesnt add much mango syrup. The waiter was friendly and did check up on our table.
Overall this is a decent place.

Y’all know I like Chili’s and I like chains. if you’re not a fan of either, then you probably won’t agree with me about how great it is here!
The first thing I LOVE about this place is that it is completely nonsmoking, unlike the one in Webster. That is almost a 5 start review right there! I’m a runner and I enjoy going to places that offer a complete nonsmoking environment.
The staff was a little slow, so that’s why I didn’t give a full five stars, although it was nice to have time between the appetizer and the entrée; waiting for the dessert made me realize how full I was though, which did not help. Hubby had to wait on his drink a couple of times but all in all it wasn’t painfully slow, just enough to not brag about it and to get a little thirsty.
We got the Two for $ 35 deal, which is a really good deal when you’re super hungry! Which I was, having run a half marathon earlier that day. But for $ 35 you get two alcoholic drinks, an appetizer, two full size entrees and a dessert. So yeah. That’s copious amounts of food, y’all.
Plus, it was good. Really good. The mango margarita was good but really sweet, and not really strong, so not sure if I would get that again. It was rimmed in sugar too which just added to the sweet. I got cheese sticks for the appetizer and they were hot and fresh and cheesy; you know when you bite into it and the cheese just stretches and stretches? Mmm hmm. Good stuff! I got the Chicken Bacon ranch Quesadillas which is almost my favorite thing at Chili’s. I mean, fried cheese and bacon and chicken wrapped up in yummy carbs? How can you go wrong? Hubby got the steak and it was cooked just right he said, so he was happy. Then we got the Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie, which came out warm with vanilla ice cream and was DEELISH but man we were so full we couldn’t even finish. I know… I know… it’s just wrong to give up on a chocolate chip cookie, but I guess a half marathon isn’t enough for all that food!
I will be back. They do have a few «healthy» options, and we do like the two for $ 20 deal as well (no drinks, no dessert). We do like Chili’s and both like that it is fully nonsmoking so we can enjoy our food without tasting smoke. A definite four star!

The Monday night crew is not the A-​Team. While the food was spot on, the waitress made many small mistakes which culminated into a mid-​service disappearance. Another waitress stepped in, tried to top off my Dr. pepper with water, then took my drink to the back for a refill. The drink was never seen again. I’m serious, she kidnapped my friggin drink.

For God’s sake… why do those 13 year old hostesses sit you right on top of someone else when the restraunt is empty!!! Good food and clean. Safe location for Houston area. We’ll go back. Philly cheese steak sandwich keeps sucking me in.

I’m a sucker for the southwest egg rolls and I always get the chicken crispers. The Cajun Chicken Pasta rocks as well. You can’t go wrong with any of those options.
