Amazing burgers and an awesome spot to hit up when in Leavenworth during the busy holiday season. Not right on the main drag so you have a better chance of getting a table quickly. Great service and great food! Kid friendly as well which is important to me and my family.

Yummy burgers and fries, super friendly staff. The sweet potato fries and great! Veggie burger was very good and my daughter loved her bacon cheeseburger.

So I live in Lake Steven’s and my friend lives in Gold Bar and we decided on a road trip for a lazy Monday off. We headed out and over Steven’s Pass and to Leavenworth. We decided on this little burger joint. The Unilocal reviews looked great and the pictures better. We walked in and it’s quaint and small. The place is very clean and well done. Great table placement and casual music playing. The ordering process is very easy and checkout is a breeze. When we were here they were advertising a breakfast burger with maple syrup Sriracha and bacon and egg with white cheddar and my friend got the fresh burger with avocado. Both were amazing and extremely fresh. The maple Sriracha was outstanding especially with the bacon. The fresh burger with avocado taste garden fresh… in February! And fries were hot, fresh and delicious, skinny cut crunchy and just enough salt. We will for sure make another stop at this amazing little slice of heaven. From one local to another, keep up the amazing food! Thanks for having us!

Wow! Damn good burgers and great beer! Stopped heading back to Bellingham, saw this place on Unilocal and had to stop. I had the Mon Ami burger and Riley built his own. Perfectly cooked! And the staff were very friendly and social. I’ll be back!

This place was amazing. Service was awesome and the buns/​hamburger was on point!!! We are definitely coming back for this.

Had the kids cheeseburger and someone else had the gunslinger burger. Absolutely amazing. The buns were so good. The kids lived the french fries. Will definitely be coming back!

What a great find. Delicious burgers, nice and juicy, but the bun is amazing. The French fries are fresh and delicious as well. Little pricey but totally worth it. We had a bee with our burger and was told it was the owners own brew. Totally worth stopping at.

Fabulous little burger place! I’d highly recommend as their food was fresh and tasty. Customer service was also outstanding and they’re very accommodating to food allergies.

I had read the reviews and were excited to try this place out. I had the gunslinger which was a decent burger. The disappointment came with my wife’s crispy chicken burger. Way too dry and tough it was actually inedible in certain areas of the chicken. Love the atmosphere and what they’re trying to do but with our experience we won’t risk it again.

We ordered take out as the place was pretty busy. Food was ready quickly and we had everything we ordered. Good was still warm by the time we got to our hotel. Burgers were good, food tasted fresh. No complaints. Great little burger place. We had the gunslinger and atomic burger, both had good flavor and were a nice size.

–Clean, decent and fairly interesting beer selection.
–Burgers are pretty good, though not remarkable. Fries seem a bit pre-​packaged. By a bit I mean a lot.
–Service was overall pretty decent.
–Probably one of the better places in Leavenworth, to be honest.
–I love you.

Had the Ruben and it was ok. Place was very small and had to fight for seating because it was snowing on the patio. Food took awhile to get to us but the staff was friendly. Would not be fighting or go out of my way to go again.

Burger and sweet potato fries were outstanding! Standing room only when we arrived but they keep things moving. Plenty of seats on the patio too. Friendly staff, super clean dining area. Thanks Skylar for making us feel at home. See you next year!

I agree the buns are not to be missed but many options there too, including lettuce wraps.
There were 6 of us and everyone was very happy with their choices.
I highly recommend the «Atomic Burger“with the fried chicken!
Also don’t miss their (5) specialty sauces — tomato curry was my fav.
Service was perfect, funny with just enough snark to keep you coming back.

Fresh Burger Café served my friend and I the most delicious burgers we’d ever tasted. The pear cider was exquisite. If you are hankering for the best food in Leavenworth, this is it. Lisa, who waited on us, was absolutely wonderful. If I didn’t live in Florida, I would dine here often. Yum!!!

Great burger joint. The service was fast & friendly. The beef was perfectly prepared and juicy. Crisp shoelace fries and awesome onion rings. My wife loved the Asian Chicken Salad.

First of all, disregard all reviews for Fresh that were written before November 2014 which is when Grant and Hayley bought the place. They’ve taken over the business and made it their own.
This past weekend we were staying at the bed and breakfast inn owned by Grant’s mother when she told us her son and daughter-​in-​law had bought the Fresh Burger Café. When we were in Leavenworth in July 2014 the reviews had been mixed so my wife and I weren’t considering eating there. Barbara told us Grant had changed everything and was using locally-​grown organic beef for the burgers and had carefully chosen all the other ingredients and had revamped the menu.
My wife and I ate there the next day and, to put it simply, were blown away. The burgers were the best we’ve ever had, full of flavor packed into a large-​sized patty. We both had the Fresh Burger but I had bacon added to mine. They don’t skimp on the bacon and it was thick-​sliced and full of flavor, unlike the the thin, circular slices in many fast food restaurants. The buns held up to the burger, unlike other places where the bottom bun gets soggy, falls apart, so you’re left with a naked patty and mushy dressing on the bottom.
The French fries were exceptional. Not only crisp on the outside and meaty on the inside but they had an extra layer of flavor from the way they were made. I’ve never had fries in any restaurant that tasted that good – maybe McDonald’s back in its early years but not since then.
We talked to Grant after our meal and he told us how he had carefully researched and tasted everything before he chose what to cook in his restaurant. He’s also busy creating his own burgers and other sandwiches.

The Mon Ami burger involves an alchemy of gruyère, caramelized onions, and sautéed mushrooms. It’s really delicious. It is, by itself, reason enough for me to return.
The owner was helpful, friendly, and instantly likable. I’d really like to see him thrive with this little spot, and he’s off to a great start.
The fries and onion rings haven’t really hit their stride yet. They weren’t bad, they just weren’t anything special. A great burger needs a great fry, and an upgrade to the fries would put this place over the top. I bet it’s on its way.
