We were going to Hereford house for a free dinner and presentation, and arrived early. You arrive early for a free dinner and what do you eat? Cookies! We went into Blue Chip cookies, and I had the Blue Royal cookie: which chocolate and toffee chips, and soft, soft, soft. But I was observant enough to see the sign for apple soda float. I couldn’t decide between which cookie to order, as there were 10 kinds. They also had decorated cookie cakes. And I saw dog treats but didn’t buy any. So, before I finished my cookie, I went back and ordered a float. The employee didn’t know how to make it, so asked the other employee. But in the end, it was also delicious. The float was $ 5.95. A bit high for what I got. But apple floats made with apple soda are hard to come by, and it was an experience to drink it. Seems to be a popular place. They had a steady stream of people going in and out. I enjoyed my stop at Blue Chip Cookies. A bit high priced, but good.

Best cookies I’ve ever had(and I love my sweets!). My boyfriend and I got 7 total. In less than 2 minutes we each ate 1 and a half cookies and I can guarantee the rest will be devoured by the end of the night. I especially love the chocolate chip! Soft and chewy cookies with no crisp edges which is a huge plus for me. If I could give 6 stars I would.

I love this place. I had to travel to KC for work a few times in the past month and I happened upon blue chip cookies when I was at town center to run an errand. Being a cookie/cake/sweets/carb lover, I had to stop in. I bought a tin of 7 cookies(you get 1 cookie free when you buy 6, and you get 2 free when you buy 12) to bring home to my husband. They have a great assortment of flavors but my favorite is the frosted sugar cookie. My husband really enjoyed the coffee toffee. These cookies were fresh and tasted like they were homemade. I will definitely stop by here on all my future trips to KC!

We’ve enjoyed Blue Chip cookies for years until a recent disappointment. We ordered a large decorated birthday cookie and when we picked it up it had the remains of a blob of icing the decorator attempted to remove after the bag burst. So instead of making a new cookie they thought it was acceptable to sell with this mistake. After I expressed disappointment the decorator said she would bake/decorate a new cookie which would take 2 hours, and when I returned to pick it up it was the same cookie! When I asked if it was the same cookie the employee said they called the manager who said not to remake it. I won’t be returning.

Blue Chip. meh, I’ve experienced better. They are good for that afternoon sugar buzz that might be needed while shopping but it’s not a store I would drive miles to visit. Here’s why. ~ Good cookies but nothing special, in my opinion. They are very sugary. Yes, I know, they are cookies and contain lots of flour, sugar and butter but these cookies, you can actually feel the sugar granules between your teeth and the butter on your fingertips. Then, there are several that have frosting on top. It’s yummy but over the top. ~ The location is ok, but nothing special. It’s always clean when a friend wants to visit but the one thing that always turns me off is the customer service. They always seems put out to wait on us. ~ The cookies almost look cut from rolls of cookie dough. They are very close to round and all exactly the same. Generally not a bad thing but I would rather pay the same price(or less) for a truly home made cookie. ~ They do have tins for an extra cost to package/ship cookies. Clever idea, pretty good looking tins too. Overall, I think I just prefer other local bakeries(see my other reviews)

First off, their cookies are fantastic. My family and I were regular customers here for years. Then one day, I decided to order a cookie cake for my birthday. I ordered the cookie cake on November 17th and wanted to take delivery on November 20th. On Nov. 20th, I go to the store and ask to pick up my birthday cake. It wasn’t ready. Apparently, the employee who took my order has terrible penmanship, and the cookie makers weren’t sure if the cake was to be picked up on the 20th or the 28th. The 28th of November was Thanksgiving, so that should have been their first clue. However, if there was any uncertainty to the date of delivery, why not just call me? So I ask to have the cake ready on November 23rd at 4:00PM. On November 23rd, my wife and I were at Town Center around noon. Since I was in the area, I decided to stop by to see if my cake was ready, just trying to save an extra trip down to Town Center. Apparently, there is no record of a cake for me. What? Thankfully, I decided to stop in when I did. Good thing I stopped in right then, otherwise they wouldn’t have messed up a second time. They scrambled, and by 4:00PM, a cake was ready. Good thing this cake was for an adult. Had this been a cake for one of our kids, this would have completely ruined their birthday. For a quick bite, this place is fine. But, special orders might just be too difficult for them to handle.

Found this place actually, after looking for milkshakes on Unilocal.Just had a hankerin for one. This popped up with some decent reviews, and off I was. Ended up getting the Turtle Milkshake(something like that?) It wasnt bad. Expensive, and honestly, way too big for me, but good. I haven’t tried any of their cookies, though they did look delicious. Maybe ill give this another go some other time, but it didnt strike me as a stand-out place.

If you have a sweet craving this is a great place to grab a cookie. They have about 10 different kinds made fresh daily. These also make great gifts and are reasonable priced compared Dean and Deluca down the street. They also have Blue Bell ice cream too so you can get the best of both worlds. The service is friendly and they can also package your cookies for travel or shipping. My friends visited from China and loved the cookies so much that they bought 3 dozen to take home. The employee packaged and wrapped them nicely so they’d stay fresh and in tack during my friends’ long journey home.

I’ve never had a negative experience at Blue Chip Cookie. Located in Town Center Plaza, Blue Chip is an Ice Cream shop and cookie bakery. They have the classic set up, with a counter running down the left side of the shop and assorted cookies, sweets and ice cream flavors behind glass. It is a pretty standard set up, I ordered a chocolate milkshake and was not disappointed.

For a franchise, these are some pretty good cookies. They taste more homemade compared to Mrs. Fields. I love the toffee cookies! They will also ship cookies and make up special trays for parties. Funny enough, when I stop here it is usually not for cookies but for the ice cream. One of my favorite concoctions is a «sipper». Basically sherbet or sorbet mixed with sprite. Almost every ice cream place in the city will do one. At Blue Chip they have it down to a science and always have raspberry sherbet… one of my fav’s Nice clean store with seating.
