Amazing! Great food, atmosphere, and drinks! My fiancé and I were vacationing in the area and came for dinner all the way from Boston. We will definitely come back if we are ever in the area again! We had the Gambas al Ajillo(shrimp with garlic) and the boom boom shrimp and Was it relish. Lighter faire with just the perfect amount of seasoning. Display and presentation was nicely positioned, service was amazing! I mean if you appreciate great customer service as much as I do then this place is a must visit! As a chef, I thrive on good-fresh food and quality service! This place has it all. Small, low-key and perfect for a relaxing and cozy fun dinner.

When the Good Lord thought of restaurants, this is what He had in mind. Great beer and wine selection, great food, and great service. Miss it at your own risk.

This is my favorite restaurant. It’s a tapas and wine bar. The wine list is terrific, and the staff give great recommendations. It’s small, but somehow it’s almost always possible to squeeze in and get a seat. The staff are friendly and warm, and are attentive about dietary issues such as being gluten-free. For those of us who eat gluten, the pizza is amazing. It’s baked in a brick oven, leaving the crust with a delicious, smoky tang. The patatas bravas also stand out– smoky, spicy potatoes that go very well with the delicious salads and marinated anchovies, always on the menu.

Good ambience, service not so friendly. The food was good(specially the shrimp), but not great. We found the pizza a bit too greasy. Good wine selection.

I make a point of coming here when we come to Tanglewood for the weekend. Amazing food. Great wine. Friendly staff. Great for sharing with friends. On par with taking a great picnic with wine to the lawn. Love this place! Get there early — no reservations. And they get busy.

Every time I go to the Berkshires, I mentally prepare myself for a slew of mediocre, inconsistent, overpriced restaurants that often disappear from one year to the next. Thus, I am so happy to see that Brava, with its consistently good food and remarkable wine list, has dodged the«seasonal Berkshires» curse. The food is good here. It’s never inaccessible; think hummus, caprese-ish appetizers, perfectly seared seafood, and pizzas. The patatas bravas are always delicious, in a way that only deep-fried potatoes drizzled with spicy mayo can be. I could use more vegetables on the menu. It is fairly meat– and cheese-heavy. Speaking of which, the charcuterie and cheese board selection is well put-together; there are a good mix of old standbys and new, wacky products(hello nduja). And the WINELIST. The servers will help you if you’re lost. Wine Spectator gave them an award in 2014 for having one of the most extensive and varied wine lists in the world! I would recommend getting there early, if not before they open. Even if you need to stand around for a bit to get a table, the waitresses and waiters will take great care of you and pour you some wine, which is not the worst thing in the world :)

Brava is my favorite place to eat when I go home to the Berkshires. I wouldn’t have guessed it to be a wine/tapas bar from the façade, but it’s a perfect spot for a casual date night. The service is very professional and the servers know the menu and wine list very well. When we arrived a few nights ago and there was a short wait for a table and no room at the bar, the owner allowed us to stand by the door and have some wine. Throughout the evening, we had multiple attentive servers come over to check on us, refill water, etc. even though the restaurant was packed. Definitely an A+ for service from me. Onto the food… I’ll give you a run-down of items we have tried over the last few months and what we thought of them. * Patatas Bravas — These were awesome! I loved the chipotle aioli. They had a nice little kick to them. I would definitely order again. Very flavorful. * Parmesan Fries — If there’s one thing that Brava does extremely well, it’s their potato dishes. These were addictive. Lots of salty, pungent shaved parm, fresh herbs, house-cut fries. Highly recommended. * Gambas Al Ajillo — This wasn’t at all what I was expecting. It was basically a soup! So much watery liquid, so little shrimp. It lacked a real garlic punch and lacked salt. I’ve had the real thing in Spain and this is not it. To improve this dish, do as a previous commenter suggested and pan sear it. Caramelization is key. * Crispy Calamari — Another win. Rather than the huge, chewy rings that most restaurants serve, this was small, delicate squid with tiny, very tender tentacles attached and a light, airy batter. The dipping sauce didn’t overpower the taste of the squid. I would definitely get this again. * Seared Scallops — Wonderful. Perfectly cooked. The accompanying dressed greens were tangy and light. Highly recommended. * Sardines — I had never had sardines before. I don’t mind anchovies, so I figured I’d go for it. Might just be a personal bias, but I wasn’t a fan. It was off-putting to me that they were minced and presented in the can! It looked and smelled exactly like canned cat food to me, except for the fact that it had fresh herbs in the mix. No thank you… my husband ate it, but I don’t think either of us would order it again. * Swiss Chard — Very flavorful greens. I hope they keep this one on the menu. It’s a dark horse. It might not be the first thing one would think to order, but it’s well worth a try. Sometimes you need something green to round out the meat-based tapas. Healthy and delicious. * Chicken Wings — We opted for the bacon hot sauce. The sauce is very bacony and tasty. The first time we ordered them, the wings came out very crispy, but the second time they were not as crispy. Still liked them, though. * 2 different bruschettas — the one with the goat cheese I would absolutely order again. The one with the hummus and olive tapenade left a little something to be desired, in my opinion. I would have preferred the tapenade to be chunky, but it was completely pureed to a smooth consistency. It also didn’t have the salty, briny kick I was hoping for. * Caramelized Onion, Bacon, and Crème Fraiche Pizza — This was good, but not particularly memorable. I wouldn’t mind getting it again, but we didn’t the last time we visited. I did see someone else’s pizza that appeared to have salami and hot peppers on it(not 100% sure, but there was cured meat and it didn’t appear to be prosciutto), and it looked really good. That’s the one I’m going to try next time. * Wine list is good — they let you taste before you decide and give recommendations based upon your preferences and your order. Very helpful. Overall I really like this place and I hope they continue to do good business. They are clearly putting their heart into it and it’s paying off. Brava!

My husband and I stumbled upon their menu while we were walking around and thought it would be a perfect place to eat after a late show that we were going to. We ordered a variety of things starting with the cold tapa«marinated white anchovies», they were abcolutely delicious! They had a lemon tinge to them and were a nice and light app. For hot appetizers we tried the«mambas al ajillo»(absolutely delicious!!!), the«brava’s crispy calamari»(it was a bit salty for me but my husband enjoyed it, «the seared scallops»(not bad), the«patatas braves»(such delicious fries!!!), «crisy chicken wings hot»(they could have been a bit spicier). Then we had a cheese platter with three different types of cheese(can’t remember the names), the plate was very good!!! Lastly we had the bread pudding(which I wasn’t crazy about). I also had a delicious sangria(Very different)!! Overall the entire experience was great! Friendly staff and great atmosphere! Highly recommend!

Had a great evening with friends at this small tapas bar; friendly and informed service; nice comprehensive and eclectic variety of beer & wine; satisfying food. We went with mostly seafood tapas ie: sardine bruschetta, garlic shrimp, crispy calamari; also Swiss Chard and chimichuri steak. Good time had by all. A little loud at times in the room but all in all, highly recommended.

Amazing food, excellent service, great atmosphere in this small tapas bar. Seared Brussels sprouts, boom boom shrimp, bruccetta with goat cheese, fig and arugula salad with dried apricots. All served fresh.

Looking for a nice spot for dinner this evening and came across Brava. The place was full at about 7:30PM on this Saturday evening but I was able to get a seat near the window. I had a glass of Two Road«Road to Ruin» IPA on tap which was excellent along with an order of Spicy Fried Chick Peas. Nice combo. I followed this with another IPA :) and a personal sized mushroom and fontina cheese pizza(no sauce). Also excellent. Bravo Brava!

We enjoyed dinner at Brava, a tiny tapas restaurant, while visiting the Berkshires. The wine and beer lists were incredible! We also really loved the food. For two people, we ordered five tapas(we skipped the pizza this time around) and tried the mushroom goat cheese bruschetta, the meatballs, the Swiss chard, the sweet and spicy shrimp, and the scallops. We enjoyed everything but our favorite was the meatballs, which came in a sweet, BBQ-like tomato sauce. Delicious. The only downside of this meal was the speed at which the food arrived. We ordered a fair amount of food but we’re done eating in under 30 minutes. Plates were not spaced out enough! But that was the only negative we noticed about the meal.

Love it here! Stopped by after Rumpy’s for some food to-go, their kitchen is open until midnight. The potatoes bravas were pretty good. The roasted pepper risotto was AMAZING. We drunkenly housed both in like 2 minutes. Would def come back again. Oh and we ordered a glass of wine to share while waiting for the food and the bardender gave us a healthy portion in TWO glasses since we were sharing. SONICE!

An unexpected treat. Not a «tapas» guy or a «wine bar» guy usually but this restaurant had a homey European feel that turned a rainy evening into a perfect night. Great beer and wine list. Great calamari. They do charge for bread and butter which I don’t like… but I did order it and it was quite good.
